I was greeted with a friendly welcome at Motel 6. The rooms are decent, and the shower works fine, which is always a plus. However, there's a downside that needs addressing—the hotel and rooms have an unpleasant odor that's hard to ignore. It's a pity because the hospitality and basic amenities are there. Hopefully, they can rectify this issue for future guestsRooms: Heel basic

I requested a ground level room due to senior status, mobility issues, and they gave me room #102. the room was newly remodeled and nice. Clean bathroom, comfortable bed, TV worked well, refrigerator, microwave. Clean, no bad smell. There was some noise in the morning because some weird guy was clanking around in the hallway in cowboy boots or something.Verizon cell signal was good (4 bars LTE?).Next to a very large "convenience" store with a subway sandwich shop, etc., next to a casino with a Denny's restaurant.(The temporary lake and wildflowers in Death Valley were spectacular at this time of year, late April, 2024, due to a number of late winter storms.)Scenery and geology in Death Valley are spectacular and world famous, don't miss it, but be prepared for very high heat in the late spring through the summer. Bring several gallons of water. Refill at Furnace Creek visitors center, Stovepipe Wells, etc.Free entrance with a lifetime senior pass, otherwise $30 for a 7 day pass.Nevada is a state with endless wonders and vast open scenery.---This is a very nice Motel6 with excellent staff and great customer service. I stayed during a short visit to see the temporary lake at Badwater in Death Valley National Park. There was wind at night which caused an occasional high pitch whistling sound from the windows. Installation of some kind of foam or rubber insulation stripping might help stop the sound?---Another review stated no room service (cleaning) and that was a problem because no trash pickup. Response: it is not difficult to dispose of trash, you should bring a few of you own trash bags (and bleach wipies) anyway while traveling. If you need room service, get a more expensive room at another hotel.Rooms: Requested ground floor room for senior and got room #102. Clean, recently remodeled, everything was nice.Nearby activities: 1 hour to Death Valley National Park, ghost towns from gold rush days, and similar.Safety: Safety was good. Night clerk said he walked around the building to check the parking lots every hour. Interior hall.Walkability: Next to a small casino, very large convenience store, gas station, subway sandwich shop.Food & drinks: Basic. Morning coffee in the lobby. Vending machines.Noteworthy details: Newly remodeled room #102. Near Death Valley National Park. High speed highways to the north to Reno and south to Los Vegas.

It's a motel 6. It's pretty budget friendly. Room seemed pretty recently remodeled which was nice. Hard floors, no dirty carpets! Room was fairly clean but the shower seemed a bit stained. Smelled strongly like cleaning agents when we got it but got used to it quickly. Room was a little cool at night and the heat didn't work, but we slept ok. No breakfast but free coffee in the morning. Tesla charger right next door for charging.

The greatest improvement required is the option for room cleaning. We stayed four days and nights and noticed that the only rooms cleaned were the rooms where people had checked out. No one even checked to see if our overflowing garbage cans in the room needed to be emptied. Motel 6 needs to go back to the method of having the notice that hangs on a guest's outside door handle that either asks not to be disturbed, or flipping it around and having it request room service. Such a simple thing would work so well and easy for motel staff and guests alike. Come on Motel 6, exercise some common sense operating your establishments!

A basic clean room with a double bed that slid a bit when we leaned against the wall. The elevator and furnace were noisy. Quick service when requested. Great access to Death Valley from this location.Nearby activities: Near Amargosa Springs, the Rhyolite ghost town and the northern entrance to Death Valley on the Nevada sideFood & drinks: Not much in town in terms of groceries. No milk available in small bottles anywhere. There's a Family Dollar, a nut and candy place, an excellent Denny's, a BBQ place and a great taco truck.

Horrible experience. The front end desk dude was nice but this whole experience was negative. There is yellow goop in the bath tub and the dead bolt lock was jammed and I couldn’t get the door shut.Unacceptable hospitality for the 115 dollars I paid. Next time I’ll sleep in the car.Rooms: It’s like when someone rents a lambo trying to flex. Fake luxury absolutely no accountability within the management to hold the cleaning crew to a standard. Absolutely pathetic.

Paid full price for room, front desk clerk said he could not give us a reduced rate for some computer reason? Unhappy with this place mostly because of large barking dog in the room next-door keeping us up until 10:30 PM.Rooms: The best place about this particular location in Beatty Nevada was the bathtub was very nice, looked relatively new and oversized

I was driving across Nevada and the sun was going down, near Beatty. I'd planned on getting farther, but that didn't work out. There was the Motel 6...Room = cleanBed = comfortableShower = hotAC + fridge = quiet & coolService = friendlyPrice = fairTV = lots of channelsThis place was exactly what I needed. Nothing fancy. Just gets the job done well. And I'm thankful.

Been at this motel four times now. Twice with the first floor and twice on the second floor. It is a three-story motel. Twice we have had owners with barking dogs, but the motel staff got on the owners right away. We did have to wear ear plugs all three times due to traffic. Fourth time here. Got a room with a connecting door. Never again. Loud talking neighbor. Mattresses need to be rotated or flipped. One side is lower than the other.

This is one of my favorite motel 6s in the world. It is always very clean comfortable and the price is right. The staff is always very helpful, including Dayanna, who this time let us check out the room for my allergic wife before we committed. Great services are available nearby, with the largest candy store in Nevada and Subway and Denny's right next door. This is the best place to stop when coming south so that you don't have to pay the Las Vegas resort fees. It is also very quiet place to stay and sleep. Five stars!!!Rooms: Everything is always clean and in good working order in the showers are hot!Noteworthy details: Dayanna is on the ball and a definite keeper!

Dayanna at front desk was great. Our first room had a door that would not stay locked & the 2nd room was same way. She took great care of us and found a eoom where door worked and had maintenance fix the other two doors while we got settled. Motel 6 us no frills. No coffee maker in room. No hairdryer, no shampoo or amenities. Just body soap & towels. Very spartan and only chair in all 3 rooms sat you at an angle. Will not repeat motel 6 if this is all ya get.

Great place to stay if you're visiting Death Valley. It's way cheaper to stay here than pay the jacked up prices in the park. It's not super cheap around $90 a night, but I do remember when it was only $50! years ago.Minimal service level, but for the price what do you expect and it's a motel 6! I do like that the doors to the rooms are all interior doors, not like your typical Motel 6. Rooms are on the smallish side, but you're only sleeping here!

Very clean, updated room, soft towels, friendly front desk. Only 2 hours from Vegas. Beware if arriving late, that literally every restaurant in town closes at 10pm including Denny’s in the casino. We ended up buying frozen burritos at the gas station. Room has microwave and cold fridge. Double bed room has no night stands on outter sides of beds.

I read reviews and chose motel 6 while traveling with my kids HUGE mistake. Dingy gross unsafe uncomfortable. Literally a great location is all this motel had going for it. Felt like a unkept dorm room, tiny, dingy, stinky and the locks didn’t feel secure, the window had no screen and wasn’t locked. The hallway light shines through all the way around into the room too. Would not recommend!
