It's not really fair to go straight to 5 stars because I was only there for 3 minutes, but, we were in Beatty for the night and amped up on the bike ride and the casino and there was no way I was gonna sleep. Just thankfull these guys had the Melatonin in an emergency. Thank you very much.

This Family Dollar has everything you would expect and the staff are very friendly. My only complaint is two days in a row their were boxes in every aisle making it difficult for my father in a medical scooter to traverse the aisles. I understand having to unpack inventory but perhaps do a couple aisles at a times so that the handicapped may get through most of them??

It was about 9pm and the store closed at 10pm. I pretty much had it to myself. It's clean and nice. The staff is really good if you ask for help. The shelves were mostly stocked BUT they were still out of some things like bread. They didn't rush me and I checked out right at 10pm.

This is a nice new little store that has a pretty good selection but the aisles are pretty cluttered. Maybe they were just restocking I don't know but it was kind of hard to get through there with all the stuff in the middle of the aisles.

No fresh produce, eggs, milk, dairy items available here. But if you need some pasta, sauce and sausages, you can find them. Sadly, we couldn't find these items anywhere in Beatty at all.

Never have it stocked and now they are stocking it with expired medicine this is the 2nd time buying medicine that is 4months plus expired. The sad thing is they are not even looking at it and just stocking the shelves with Benadryl that is 4months past expiration date. We should of looked yes but it is not exactly what you expect to grab from the newly stocked shelf.

Sin c e the new manager came in,we've had consistently full shelves. She's gone out of her way to get things we've requested like ice cream etc.

Only store in town, where you can’t buy fresh groceries like fruit, milk, bread, vegetables etc. Only deep frozen food and canned food etc available. I wonder how people eat here in this town…

Over all you can get what you need here, except baby food, liquor and fresh produce. I'm saying this because a lot of tourists come in and ask for fresh produce and liquor. Corporate needs to know that locals with babies Need baby food! Not cookies ! And we need better variety of Christmas gifts and decorations too! Last year it sucked! No tablets, cheap plastic bulb's. Hardly anything to give to older siblings or parents.

DO NOT SHOP HERE!! We had a group come through Death Valley and this was the only place we used cards and had multiple cards in the group compromised with charges made at hotels in other states upward of $1400.00 on my card alone. I called the store to inform them and employee could have cared less - to make it worst she said she was an assistant manager. So clearly she doesn’t care that employees are scanning cards or is in on it. I would avoid doing business here at all costs. Especially because she didn’t even apologize for the extreme inconvenience this causes me - not to mention that I have no money available to me until my bank clears this up which can take up to 4 business days. Great customer service! *sarcasm* How about firing who ever was working Sunday 4/22 at 3pm and hiring someone who cares. That might be a start! So frustrating!

Service: Workers masked.Other: A convenient grocery store. Has everything you need. Good prices. The ramen was super bad though -- it was "Rap Snacks" ramen. "You smell me?" was the tagline on one of them.

This is a great Family Dollar Store as there is very little else in the area. Since I shop Family Dollar I noticed that the prices are a little higher. The staff is rather matter of fact and not-so-friendly. It is one of the great places to buy supplies along Highway 95.

When visiting Beatty, know that you can't get any fresh food, anywhere. It took us a while to figure it out. We were on a road-trip around the US and were finding a place to buy some groceries. Seeing as we're not American, we visited ALL little general stores and similar shops in hope of finding food. Eventually, the friendly cashier here at the Family Dollar told us that any place for grocery shopping is MILES away. I gave this place 4 stars because of the friendly guy. We did not buy anything, but the store was clean and the stuff they sold seemed fine.

I hate this store. All of the workers are nice except the manager. Everytime my family and I walk in and the manager is working he follows us around until we check out. Even if he is the only person working the register he will walk away from it to follow us. Brown people are not welcomed in this town and the town's people make sure you know your not welcomed. Sadly even the law enforcement watch you like your a criminal.

We stopped in to pick up some water and food....the employees were in dirty jeans and not friendly. After we paid I asked if my 6 year old daughter could use the restroom to which she delightfully refused. Don't even stop in this town.

Racist employee and customers. Some of the customers behind me in line were saying how "Asians and Indians were ruining Beatty". The girl at the register bonded with them and said she sees "them" all the time in the store. Those "Asians and Indians" are paying customers at this sad little store and they're made fun of by employees.

This is a new store and Sean is doing a good job figuring out the local needs. It takes a little time. The grocery section gets emptied quickly.

I like it because of the cashier's that work there. All of them are friendly,helpful, and patient .I go there everyday and the workers there always greet me with a friendly smile
