Tana does an amazing job taking care of your pup for the day! We’ve only kennelled our dog once before, and I was very hesitant to drop him off, but pets are not allowed on the hiking trails at Great Basin. I was nervous about leaving him, but immediately felt comfortable when I met Tana! She is very kind, and the facilities are nice, well thought out, climate-controlled, and clean. When we came back to get Buck at the end of the day, I could tell he had been cool, cared for, and happy while we were gone. Tana suggested a great hike, too! Absolutely would recommend, and would definitely bring our own beloved furball back for another stay. Thanks so much for a great kennelling experience!

I left my dog here over Labor Day weekend. Tana the owner was so kind and courteous. She made sure I had all of my dogs vaccines were up to date so all the other pets would be safe and she treated him like a prince! She was very flexible with pick up and drop off times. Very reasonable rates. Next time I'm in town I will definitely board my dog there again

Tana was fantastic and provided great care for my Mia while I spent a day in the park. What struck me was how clean (basically spotless) and well maintained her facilities are. I could absolutely tell Mia had gotten time out and enjoyed her stay. And Tana went above and beyond working with me on schedule allowing me to do all I had planned in the park even as afternoon weather came in. Really appreciated everything she did and I’m sure Mia would like to be back next time in the area.

Tana really cared about the welfare of my dogs during their stays here. It was a 15 minute drive from our campsite at Lower Lehman, so it couldn't have been more convenient.

This is the second time we've used this service. September of last year and again this year. Tana is great with our dog. He is a big strong German Shepherd and we'd only had him a month when he stayed with Tana last year. He was still new to us then. This year he's more confident. We were able to enjoy our hike knowing he was being well cared for. Thank you Tana!

We were traveling in our RV and stopped to explore Great Basin National Park. We were having electrical issues at the RV park where we were staying. Daily temperatures were forecasted to be near 100 degrees. We didn't feel comfortable leaving our dog in the RV to go exploring. We found Park a Pooch on line and gave Tana a call. She was able to accommodate our dog on very short notice. Cooper went two days in a row while we got to hike and tour the cave. It was a great relief knowing Cooper was safe and cool. Tana was so great! She was very responsive to texts and emails, and she was super welcoming to us and our pooch, Sitka. Her place is clean and safe, and we felt totally confident that our dog (who has recently had surgery and needed some accommodations) was being well cared for during our visit to the park. Tana and Park a Pooch are wonderful! She took our 5 year old griff for a day while we hiked Great Basin. She is responsive, kind, and professional. There is a large, grassy yard for the dogs to have off leash time, and a spotless, air-conditioned kennel for them to rest in. The kennels also each have an outdoor space. The property is huge with so many things for the dogs to explore on walks. I felt very comfortable leaving Chewy there, and would again!

Wow! What an awesome place to have at the front doorstep of a national park! We left our pup with Tana for a few hours so we could enjoy some hiking in the park. He had an air conditioned suite, complete with walks and he got to help in the yard a bit. If you’re in the area and need somewhere to “park your pooch” while visiting Great Basin National Park, I HIGHLY recommend Park a Pooch. Thanks Tana for taking such great care of our hound!

I would recommend Park-a-Pooch to anyone looking for a reliable and friendly dog sitting service. Tana is friendly and obviously very experienced with dogs. We were nervous about leaving our dog for the first time but it was wonderful to be able to explore the park and know he was in good hands.

We used Tana on Sep 8th, 2020, when we wanted to hike in Great Basin NP. She was fabulous! I had emailed her from CA before we left for our vacation and read reviews about her, but meeting her in person and seeing her setup was even better than I expected. Our 2 dogs, 1 puppy (18 months old) and our older 13 year old dog took to her immediately. I could tell right away that Tana would take great care of our girls for the day while we were gone. She showed us where they would rest, and told us she would walk them and check on them regularly. Her place was immaculate! When we returned later that day, the girls were both on warm blankets in 1 kennel (as requested) and looked happy and relaxed. Tana had turned the heat on for them as it was a cold, windy day. Tana told us how well behaved they were, and that she had walked them and played with them, and taken pics of them....which I saw when we returned home. She posted the pics on her website and facebook page. Our dogs are the 2 that are playing together on Sep 8th. See how happy they look! We will DEFINITELY use Tana again for future visits to Great Basin NP. I HIGHLY recommend her. You won't be disappointed and your doggies will have a great time, and so will you knowing their in good hands. Great job Tana!! Thank you SO much!!

The setup there was perfect for our dog on a hot day! There are little air conditioned rooms that have dog doors out to a fenced area. Our pup loved it

Super easy and friendly dog care service. We dropped our dog off for an afternoon so we could visit the National Park. We couldn't have been happier and neither could our dog. We highly recommend it.
