After driving for more than a couple of hours we found this desert oasis, literally in the middle of nowhere, thirsty and super starving my friends and I decided to stop at this place at once without hesitation.We met this sweet employee here named Ivania” a beautiful soul who made this delicious burrito from scratch and smiles at all times.I was able to talk to her and find out the majority of customers are locals around the desert I was very impressed by her humble demeanor and super knowledge of the food she was preparing for all of us, she made it with love 💖Thank you so much for the uniqueness offered at this recondite place it seems surreal,Thank you for everything 🙏🏼

Nice little Mexican market right off the highway. Has a little diner that serves good American and Mexican food. Nice assortment of goods in the market. Friendly staff. Will be back.

Mini mart/Mexican restaurant. If not open or find what need here. About 10 minutes one direction is the casino/*restaurant open 24hrs with wide selection of food* with a lil mini tiny mart and the opposite direction about 10 minutes are like 3 different gas stations with lil fast food restaurants in them and premade food options good for ones buying ebt(burritos, sandwichs etc etc) and one is the alien looking gas station. Other 2 regular ones with the typical things too. Hope this helps anyone. If can at least try one taco thou here. It taste better because it's all fresh homemade. But it is really high yes lol.And I saw some reviews about the owner etc racism to them. No! People don't care for rudeness and there are some really mean, pushy people who think there better than others and are rude. Treat people how you want and you'll get a normal reply/ response back. Ant nobody racist. Your just mean.

For being in the middle of nowhere, it's a pretty decent place. The people are friendly. The selection is pretty limited, but you can find what you absolutely need, unless its ice cream lol. Didn't have the money to eat at the restaurant, but it smelled amazing!

This is a little convenience store with a small counter serving amazing Mexican food. This is probably some of the best Mexican food I’ve had…maybe I wasn’t expecting much due to the setup, but def try it out! I think the best part was you just grab your drinks (check the expiration date…🙃) from the fridges and we settled up at the end. Yea, prices are a little more than average, but you are in death valley so limited supply. I mean tacos and enchiladas plus a tall boy and soda was like $25 which ain’t that outrageous.

Great authentic Mexican food! I live in South Florida; we have a lot of Mexican friends and and businesses around us. I’ve worked all over Mexico and Central America. Ruby’s is the real deal, very similar to being in Mexico. I didn’t feel like anything was over priced for the quality of food; fresh ingredients aren’t free and it cost money to have it in the desert.

Made me leave the store for not having a mask while simultaneously assisting a separate customer without a mask.I confronted the situation and was still forced to leave while the other customer got to finish their purchase.Extremely unprofessional while showing favoritism. I can't help but think it was because I wasn't Hispanic and the other customer was.Not cool.

Excellent service and really good food. Not sure how authentic enchiladas are supposed to be served but they did not have any sauce so they were a bit dry but otherwise very tasty! My husband have a few tacos and the meat was excellent.

Google says the store/restaurant should be open till 8pm. Went in for dinner. There is a clear sign inside that the restaurant closes at 7pm. Lady decides she does not want to serve me despite being 6.45pm....not great Ruby! Update the information please...

For the area, a large store. For a large store remarkably few choices. However, given the choice of driving 45 miles for more choices ... I'll select Ruby's over and over again for convenience.

Great authentic Mexican food! I pass through here every time I go to Death Valley and it never disappoints. My favorite dish by far is their carne asada torta. All salsas are handmade from scratch and are delicious. None of their food is pre-made, all ingredients are fresh. Due to the ingredients freshness and importing them to the middle of nowhere, the pricing is fair to me, and I’m willing to pay for the authenticity. They also have some American dishes: burgers, hot dogs, chicken salads. Ladies who work here are so sweet and helpful.

I've passed by a few times when visiting family in Amargosa, and this place never disappoints. Very delicious and authentic Mexican food. I recommend the carne asada torta or the enchiladas!
