After a day of driving from California through Nevada, Armagosa Valley is our favorite overnight stop. It allows RVs to have a nice, quieter distance from all of the semis parked around the gas station/market next door. And, for extraterrestrial watchers, the Area 51 Alien Center is conveniently located across the road.

A perfect place to have this rest area on this mostly barren stretch of US 95 and I wasn't expecting flush toilets. Great job NDOT!

Cute cozy shady and oasis literally in the desert right now!!Bathrooms were clean camp level Camp style flushable toilets; there’s a space across the street when you turn off the highway or if you have a big rig you can just park there across the street there’s room enough there’s if no one else is ; right in front ; pull in you can park right in front but you Gotta make that left turn going on westbound Turning left southbound it’s right on the corner; just passed the area 51 alien shopAnd brothel😳😙😆🤯Oh there’s also an RV park if you can imagine that in the summer just behind the cell phone tower or next to it.

This stop was very pleasant. A bit of old west charm. Clean restrooms and grounds. Very quiet spot for a lunch break, nap, or overnight. 👍🏻👍🏻

This rest area is definitely a lot different then most others. It has a nice area with picnic style benches. It has so nice beautiful mountain views. Only thing is that the restroom smelled like 💀 death.!

Being in the middle nowhere, this is a really nice surprise on desolate US 95! The small shade trees are lovely and welcome a short stroll to stretch the legs! The bathrooms are average nothing special there. The REALLY nice thing is the large parking lot just south of here along SR 373 which is great for a night's rest. Plus, something I didn't expect was Wifi. Yeah. You have to angle yourself right in the parking lot off 373, but you can certainly get it. This is really what a rest stop should be. Well done, Nevada!

Awesome rest stop in the middle of nowhere. A safe place to sleep in your car, flushing toilets, running water, picnic tables, and a convenience store next door.

At one of the lonely turn offs for Death Valley, this was a great spot to get out and stretch. Well maintained bathrooms with running water, a gas station just next to it and the world's biggest M80 across the street! Great place to stop.Even enough room for large trucks, trucks with trailers and semi trucks to pull off in the adjacent lot

Picture of gas station across the street which is open late (ish) and has good selection of snacks. I pulled in around 6pm on a night in November. Had to be up by 4am for 12 hours of driving the next day. Slept great. Plenty of space for dog walking. Picnic tables. Facilities. Tractor trailers with some noise but nothing unmanageable. Will definitely stay again, if needed.

Easy to get into. Some shady parking spots. Contractor was on site, so it was Clean at time of visit. Basic rest room's which were clean, but No Soap.Adjacent was pull off area large enough for big rigs.

Nice enough stop but the rest rooms could be a lot cleaner. If you're traveling north, Beatty is pretty close and has better options. But if you desperately need a potty break... It's better than going on the road-side 😆

I didn't actually park in the rest area parking lot, I parked across the street in the huge dirt lot. I drive a semi tractor trailer and It was a very peaceful and quiet night. I got a lot of rest 👍🏾

Nice area to walk around, stretch your legs outside, etc. However, BATHROOM DOES NOT HAVE SOAP. Kinda gross. Given with what’s going on with current times especially, soap is a must need. Bathrooms also smell really bad. Ew ew ew.

We have stayed here many times doing the snowbird thing. It is a quiet safe place to stay with full hookups. Friendly folks managing it and we've met a lot of nice travelers there too.We noticed they have been busy doing some updates. It isn't one of those places with grass or paved roads, but it is clean and usually not too crowded - which just happens to make the social distancing we are having to do these days easier.

Nice rest stop, Very dusty, but I like it. Be extra caution driving around here as the road workers can pop up outta the dust like magicians (God Bless their souls) When they say road work, they mean it. Fast winds and dust storms. This rest stop had everything you would ever need. Even showers. That was a bonus.

Great rest stop on the way to Death Valley! Super clean picnic area with lots of trash bins. Nicely landscaped. Clean restrooms but no hand soap. Gas station and mini mart within walking distance if you're overnighting. Fantastic sunsets too!

Bathrooms were very clean when I visited. Great Desert Views despite the proximity of the Highway. Picnic benches available.

My husband and I slept here four about four hours last night before heading on the road again and we felt incredibly safe. We even had some food at the picnic tables! The only reason why I gave this rest stop a four and night a five is because of the bathroom. It is NOT the worst but I would bring anti bacterial wipes and your own toilet paper.

Clean, safe. Landscaping is really cute. Fresh water, EV charging, wifi. Restrooms hit-or-miss. The tower is for air-to-ground internet, not cell phones.

We stopped by here for a few minutes to stretch our legs on our long road trip. It is very beautiful and nice looking . The restroom was clean and tidy. It is a nice place to pull over and enjoy
