Grand Central is an incredibly nice store. Extremely clean, organized, and well maintained by the staff. I thoroughly enjoy shopping at this location more than most others. Staff are always helpful, and the best part of all is that the store gives off a small town vibe that you hardly see anymore. Which personally is much more of a relaxing shopping experience than something corporate, and soulless like Walmart. Grand Central even has a really nice little dining area if you feel like having a sit down, or enjoying a coffee and donut. Definitely would recommend atleast checking it out if you're nearby.

Went here for the first time in years. They have the 5 for $25 meat bundle, like Russ's, which was great. I always get them for the bargain. I will be here more often instead of going Lincoln all the time.

Super friendly staff.The deli is the best. The food, staff, choices. It's great to have salad choices that don't just come from a carton. The bakery is wonderful.

First time customer. I've driven by it probably a couple hundred times in my life but since I don't live close by, I've never stopped. What a nice store. I liked it a lot. Well laid out, well stocked shelves. The house smoked pulled pork was probably has the best flavor I've ever had. Doesn't need any BBQ sauce to go with it. Everyone that pays this store a visit should definitely try the smoked meats. I will certainly stop again.

Grand Central is someplace that I would consider to be a Mom and Pop's type grocery store. It's a smaller store privately owned with real butcher's in the meat department. After checking out they take your groceries out to your car and load them for you. They are always pleasant and helpfull. Shopping here is always a pleasant experience. Some prices may be a little bit higher.

I love Grand Central! They have a wonderful selection of food and support Nebraska/local businesses. Produce always looks really fresh. I would say this is a borderline gourmet grocery store. Love to have a grocery store like this where I live(:

The little red head in deli is extremely rude. She cussed at one of the customers simply because she did like him for something that happened 12 years ago. She slammed his food in the bag too making it all messy. When I saw that guy file a complaint to the assistant manager of the store he called the guy a liar and belittle the customer. This store is going down hill fast. Bad things always happens when Warner isn't around. Horrible costumer service.

I got service refused by a lady on the cigarette counter. She said it was not her register. She ignored me and remained standing doing nothing. Grand Central management: if you are going to relieve the shift cashier with a rude person like this one, just place " This Register is Closed" sign on the counter and leave it with nobody there. I will take my money to Dollar Fresh or Walmart.

It sure is nice to have locally owned grocery stores! I bought trash bags here and then more at the big W. I realized they were less expensive at Grand Central! The store has a room at the front of the store where they have boxes people can have for packing, etc. This is very helpful! I like how they load your car, too. Good, old-fashioned service with a smile!

The best grocery store ever! They have a nice selection of everything. Wonderful meats, impressive alcohol section, and nice gluten free options. Sushi bar and Amigos bar are fantastic additions. If there's something you'd like to see them carry, just ask!

I've worked here and to say they care little for their workers sounds about right worked there for 2 years then they let me go for stealing when I had all my recipts and when asked to go through cameras I was told "it's not worth the trouble" if I really stole why not check out the cameras oh I know because I didn't do it huh weird if it wasn't for their friendly workers I wouldn't even go in mr w or mr c doesn't deserve it but they do

A little bit higher on their prices,but the service is great and they actually carry your groceries out to your car. Fresh produce and good variety of meats. Corn on the cob is outstanding.

It's a nice place to shop as it has a very "hometown" feel. They are a little over priced but usually have what you need. Most of the employees are very nice and helpful, a few of them are not. Overall, good place to shop.

I like this place, but I dont care for one employee specifically! She was very rude and made me feel like I was doing something wrong because I wanted scratch tickets during the dinner rush. Had I lived in the area I could have and would have waited but I'm 30 minutes away But she was rude and even slammed the phone down after answering it made me super uncomfortable

The quin​tes​sen​tial small town grocer that's still big enough to have a good selection. The gluten-free section in particular is a pleasant surprise. It has enough to take care of most any need in a pinch, though obviously it will cost more than buying direct in bulk. Friendly employees, quiet laid-back atmosphere, and very clean.

Well stocked store usually with great customer service. Higher priced on most items unless there is a significant sale but that is to be expected to some extent for a small town local grocery store. Very active in the community as a sponsor and/or donor.

Some items are a little over priced, but it IS a smaller grocery store, so that often comes with the territory. This place is usually pretty clean, the staff are friendly and they have a great produce section in terms of quality. It's a pretty good neighborhood grocery store.

I most definitely love shopping at grand central foods store I would anitially be giving grand central foods grocery store a whopping 5 star but the reason I only gave grand central foods a 4 out of 5 star instead is because of there kinda higher prices compared to other stores in York like the dollar store general and comparing overall kind workers and completely satisfied overall shopping exsperiences Grand Central is much higher in this category when compeating with stores like the dollar general store and kirks corner and exspecially Walmart grocerys and department store over all experiences that I'm used too and I'm sure alot of other people would agree as well about customer service and the quilting of shopping exsperiences at grand central foods grocery store is at the top of my list in the catigorey of customer service and over all quality of service that one spends at there store I really wanted to give yes grand central foods grocery store a 5 star but here's the last reason why I couldn't and won't give them a 5 out of 5 Star experience is because the over all prices compared to Dollar general store kirks corner and exspecially Walmart grocerys and department store is that I can spend $150 dollars on groceries let alone in one givin shopping day and if I shop with a full conscious mind and take my time shopping at Walmart grocerys store for some groceries yes the service is not as well as expected as grand Central foods or over all top notch service that I'd be getting at grand central and also the meats at grand central taste a whole lot better and more flavorful and over tasty much better but your going to pay usually a quite a bit more than Walmart grocery store but Walmarts meats most definitely do not taste no where as great or as close as of an over all flavor that you'll be getting at grand central foods grocery store but like I say I can go into Walmart and if I take a little bit of time and shop for food items that are on sell and over all be careful not to buy a whole lot of exspensive groceries it's ok to buy a little bit of exspensive stuff but be wise I only got $ 150 dollars that has to last me atlest 2 to 3 weeks before I come back to Walmart again k with being said if I'm really caushious about stretching out the entire $150 bucks then I most definitely can make $150 last out and stretch out for atlest 3 weeks Im sure of that and if I were to take my $150 a to grand central foods grocery store and I was careful like Walmart shopping then I'm guessing even with shopping for everything that's on sale that's possible to get on sale at Grand Central foods grocery store the amount of groceries that I would get out of my total of $150 dollars that's supposed to last at least 2 to 3 weeks will barley even last me between 7 to 10 days if I'm lucky so about the only things I will really shop for at grand central foods grocery store is only about there meats when they have there sales days on there meats k and the only other possible stuff I would even consider buying is only if kirks corner or Walmart store in York is closed is buying grand central foods beer liquor and cigarettes at my last exspense options up above have run out basically saying it's my last resort kind of to go to place and this is the grand total reasons why old mighty grand central foods grocery store only gets a 4 out of 5 stars from my opinions and perspectives in experiences while shopping at grand central foods grocery store compared to other stores here in York goodnight and farewell to who read and like my post here

Not sure if today if it was an off day but i went to pick up items and people dressed in regular clothes sitting down near the deli watched me. I stood at the counter for a spell and finally one of the people sitting down, talking and watching me identified himself as a worker after he saw me call Gene on my phone from the counter. The female who answered the phone acted like she couldnt understand my english when i asked a simple question about can i order an item.The clerks were cold, short and made no eye contact. Super disappointed with the customer service in York so far.

For a small town market it's fabulous. The meat market is prime. The whole store is clean and well stocked.Not a fan of cashiers with cigarette packs on their stations though.

The workers all have wonderful great attitudes but I'm not impressed with the prices everything is at least a dollar 25 more than at Walmart......But wonderful kind kind workers

Great local grocery store. Always friendly staff who provide great service. Great selection of types of food. If you can't find something you need, they can look into ordering it for you. They also provide some good BBQ.

Very friendly, I forgot to buy apples for Christmas Eve and Walmart turn us down with 5 minutes to closing. Thank you Sam and her coworkers for allowing us to buy 2 mins after closing time. Highly recommended! Choosing Grand Central Foods over Walmart from now on.
