This store has only been around for a couple years and still heavily outweighs our local grocery store in so many ways, every time I’m at grand central close to closing (or really anytime) I come into contact with employees with bad attitudes but I’ve never had that happen once at dollar fresh, the quality of meat is better, the employees are better, the service and speed in the checkout is much faster, I’m all for supporting local businesses and don’t mind paying a little more even, but not when the service is poor, my only complaint is the product placement is confusing sometimes but overall this store goes above and beyond when it comes to customer service. Having employees that go out of their way to make sure you found everything you need and give you a great checkout experience is hard to find these days but this store does exactly that

Best price for hamburger in town and is on sale at a very reasonable price several different times in the month, has become the only place in town that I buy meat at because of there sale prices.

I have just edited my review from 4 stars to 5. They are just too impressive to only get a 4. They deserve a 5. Prices of their "generic" in store brand products are often much less than name brands. However, sometimes name brands taste better. But once you learn which brands of generics' taste and quality rival name brands, you can save a lot and be equal to, if not lower than, Wal-Mart's generics (Great Value). Good selections in most areas. The store also sells household items. Having a membership card does save money on whatever products they choose to give discounts for. The in-app member notifications and other forms of member notifications give u a heads up on discounts for specified time frames. Self checkout works well. Employees are friendly and helpful. The store is within in York, although on south edge, so you don't necessarily need to drive 3 miles to Walmart and walking is less as well.

On a Sunday afternoon, there wasn't much on the shelves in the bread area, but I was pleasantly surprised that they carried several microwave dinners that haven't been available at competitor stores for a long time.

Most of the time it's great. Sometimes they don't have product for the advertised deals or if they did it sells out before noon. Often there isn't enough staff to help with register issues quickly. Good store overall with kind staff.

Being from out of town, this place is pretty amazing. Great selection, fresh items, some miscellaneous grilling and cooking items. They also have some Hy Vee labeled goods! I liked that the store was open and had well arranged displays of produce and fresh goods. (Not cramped like the big box stores)

We have been shopping here since the store opened. We've never had a problem, everybody's always been polite and helpful. This has become our go to store for grocery shopping now.July 22... still our primary store. The meat selection is way better than Walmart.. if I had anything negative to say it would be that this being a small store in a small town; it's hit or miss when you go shopping whether or not they're going to have everything that you were hoping for. Sometimes it's bread that is not there sometimes it's certain meats that aren't there sometimes they're out of milk. But all in all we still love this store
