The Food Mesto is a lovely little local grocery store. They have an amazing range of products considering the size of the town. I really appreciate the selection of specialty foods. The fresh items are also great. I've been coming to this grocery store since I was born, due to the ancestral home in town, and the Mesto remains a valuable asset to the Wilber (and surrounding) community.Edit 08/02/2023: Tasha was an exemplary cashier. She took out our order to our car. She was efficient and friendly. Tasha helped me to sign up for the Mesto's new online loyalty program.

They always have what I need as far as basic groceries but they also usually have a couple surprises I didn't know I needed. Definitely a blessing having such a great grocery store close by.

The staff are kind, friendly, and very helpful. It is always surprising to me the variety of items that they carry for being a small town business. My son loves going into the story any visiting with the employees! We love Food Mesto.

Its getting to be Christmas. Wilber IS the Czech capital of Nebraska and as such you can buy Czech beer right in the grocery store. My brother in law is an admirer and avid consumer of "peavo" so I drove there specifically to get him two kinds of Czech beer for Christmas as he and my sister drive in from the Des Moines, Iowa, area.

This little store reminds me of the mom and pops stores back home. They have a variety of items. The cashiers are very friendly. They make you feel at home.

I went for meat and was not disappointed, hamb.was on sale,got some good looking pork steak and some chicken! Clean store,good prices!
