Don’t go by the hours that are shown here on google. I came here today and google said they were open. Doors wouldn’t open so I called this was at 9 am and one of the workers said they would open up in 15 minutes ugh bad enough the hwy I drove on had some drifts on it.

I live near several dollar general stores in eastern Nebraska. What employees you have are great but stressed. THIS COMPANY NEEDS TO HIRE MORE STAFF TO PROVIDE A BETTER CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE AND TO KEEP STORES CLEAN AND UNCLUTTERED. A STORE CAN NOT RUN OFF ONLY 1 OR 2 PEOPLE WORKING AND PROVIDE THE CUSTOMER SERVICE YOU AS A COMPANY I'M ASSUMING WOULD WANT TO PROVIDE. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN CORPORATE LEADERSHIP. 🤔🤨😖

I was buying $65.00 worth of stuff, dog food, jello, laundry soap, bathroom cleaner; when my bank card wouldn't work, I called the bank which said it should work. So the employee, Ann, bought my supplies for me saying, Merry Christmas! Amazing job Amy! Thank you! I was in a car accident and rolled my car 7 times, breaking my hip, rib, jaw, both eye sockets, and 3 vertebrae in my neck that were fused together. I was barely walking . I needed a cart to get around. My neck in a brace, and a limp. Ann went far beyond the customer service standards. If she knew that I was living on SSI, and on family leave from work. No paycheck and barely making ends meet. About to lose my home. She help with buying that, and I made my mortgage payment!! Thanks again Anne. I will be paying you back soon!

Not the cleanest DG you will ever walk in, and definitely not the most organized. But since it's the closest place to pick up Landry detergent in 20 miles, for a decent price, I guess i would recommend it, if you are desperate that is. Wish they would keep things neater and easier to move around. Merchandise is just piled here and there and even in the floor. Oh well. Lol

The cashier at Dollar General Wakefield is much friendly and more helpful than the ones at other stores I've been to. And they have nuch easier parking than other Dollar General stores in the area.

First of all I needed distilled water for my bipap machine, they had none last Thursday afternoon and had none today. One shelf was clear full of drinking water in gallon jug. I had to buy bottles of water , distilled, both days. Also they need more than 1 person at check out. I stood at the check out for at least 3 minutes while the lady was at across the store stocking shelves or something. They need a bell of some sort for people to ring to be checked out. This wasn't my first time for waiting for someone to be checked out. Its the berries when it's the only place in town to purchase food items, we have no grocery stores in Wakefield, Ne nor near by town of Emerson, Ne. Which I live inbetween the 2 town's.

the ails are such a mess/you can't go down them!!i hear people going to wayne for that reason....its such a mess ALL the time is thier anything they can do????to make the ails clear and less clouded

The only thing with the Dollar General in Wakefield is they do not do masks no covering for sales clerk and no hand sanitizer other wise all in all good. They are trying to keep things out of the aisles. I hate shopping in a store where it is so cluttered you can't go down the aisles!!!

Needs new nite managementThey usually locks the doors before it's time to close some of the workers are rude and not friendly and they stand outside and smoke and talk while customers are in the store and no employees in the store they also leave items missed priced for weeks at a time and won't let the customer have the item for the missed priceThe corporate office needs to come in make some changes
