This stop was in a handy place for us when we were having car problems. The small store had a few tools and was nice and new. That being said the lot is under construction and was a dusty mess to work on a car on a windy day. It’s a work in progress and it will be nice once the lot is paved again and the pumps are moved closer to the convenience shop.

Be prepared for rude and condescending attitudes from what is supposed to be an employee. My husband asked where the men's room was. He laughed sarcastically and said "The sign tells you it's up front." We're came in the back entrance and there was no sign at that door. After my husband left I was looking at some of their items for sale. I heard that same guy mocking my husband for asking the question. I asked how much a refill of coffee was for a 20oz mug cost. He stared at me like I was mentally challenged and said "Uuhhh, $2.50!" in a hateful, exasperated manner. We won't ever be stopping again. York is very nearby and they're actually friendly.

Pulled into empty parking lot at 330am. this morning for coffee. Keep in mind that there are no lines and plenty of room on both sides of my vehicle to accommodate multiple semi trucks, etc. Went inside, and this mean rude women told me I had to move from the parking lot before she would sell anything to me. Promptly left and went to Loves up the road. This place is a waste of money and air.

Just awful. They stared us down as we looked at the overly expensive snacks because if you use the restroom without buying something you're trespassing. Ok no problem, but geez! Creepy. Got "coffee" from the espresso maker. Had to throw it out at the next exit, it was undrinkable.They had a annoying kid running around banging on the windows. One of the employees' not a customers'. Just go one more exit.

This place surprised me. No markings on the building outside. There is an Open sign in the window but hard to see with bright sun from the west. Very clean, looks new. Real nice. Bad gravel parking lot. Need to clean up outside to match the interior.

Would give this place a zero star review if possible. I've seen babies have diaper blowouts that were cleaner then this place. Before I even pulled in to the parking lot, I could smell the urine and excrement from the road. I would rather sleep overnight in the bathroom from Saw then spend 30 more seconds of my life in this bathroom ever again.

They're definitely working on the outside but I'm thinking that scares some people away the new store is really nice inside and the fuel is cheap, I liked the free refill with my fuel, and the buckets with good washer fluid and a good squeegee at every pump.

Not trucker friendly at all . Stopped to do a driver change with my teammate and stopped in pumps because the parking lot is full of mudd . Station is very slow no trucks behind me and only a couple of trucks fueling period. Lady comes out and is very rude tells me I'm trespassing because I'm not getting fuel and I have to leave now 🙃. I told her we were changing driver's and would be leaving soon. Apparently not good enough she takes a picture of my license plate and says she is calling pd . Holy cow what's wrong with people no trucks behind me , no reason for her to treat me that way OMG I will never come back here for anything and strongly suggest you don't either ..... SMH

Woman you really have mental problems, put the signs to “pull forward after fuel up” at the fuel island if you don’t want to argue with everyone, I’ve moved my truck, even tho it’s 10:50 Saturday, and 2 other trucks still at the pump not moving and the guy behind me just left 😂 didn’t even buy fuel from you. But you still choose to argue with me instead of listening to common sense.

They are now in a newly remodeled building. The diesel pumps are behind new building they have Def on the pumps now. The Def is underground now we haven't had any problems with the Def. They are always nice and polite when we go inside. The gas pumps are in front of the old building with new pumps as well. My husband is a rv transporter

To call this a travel center is laughable. It’s a small rural gas station with a dirt parking lot. The bathrooms were falling apart, they have some of the snack food that you would get at a nice gas station. The attendant was rough but friendly. Would only stop here if I couldn’t get to another station.

1st visit upon entering the bathroom I was terrified by the nightmare before my eyes. One HECK of a nasty pit. It’s probably safer to not wash your hands and avoid touching anything especially the 1950s hand drying rag. 2nd visit I opted for pissing in the parking lot. Seems cleaner than that bathroom. But hey, the fuel prices are great so I’ll come back. I guess you get what you pay for.

The most disgusting gas station I’ve seen in a LONG time. I’m a guy and I almost skipped peeing because it was so gross (curtains over the stalls/no doors). All the food/snacks were covered in dust.

All my hommies love akal travel station because there is some good gravel and a cow attacked me. There were people peeing all over the parking lot and an old guy pooped on my car while I gassed up, but I don’t mind at the time because I came from California! Then my car broke down cuz the gas had pee in it and I had to turn around and go back. I accidentally left my glass eye behind and got a call from the cashier but I don’t speak the same language. So I went back and they hired me as the janitor and I haven’t had to do anything since then

*******WARNING*********DO NOT STOP IF U HAVE PETS.**The muddy parking lot they have is not water it is fuel. Diesel fuel to be exact. My poor puppy's legs were covered in mud and bad smell of Diesel. They stick all there money into the building and outside polluting the ground. And killing animals that walk anywhere around this place.

This place is listed as two things and I think that the Akal Travel Center is more current (see nearby Phillips 66: it's the same business). Staff are very nice, but everything looks or is broken down and it's barren out there, south of town. Prices for things and gas and the selection of items are all good. Of note, the Waco Restaurant on the compound looks like it's been closed for many years.

Avoid at all costs. Pumps failed inspection. Store filthy. Smelled like urine. Trash all across parking lot. Coffee look and smelled days old. Cashier was more concerned with talking on her phone.

Absolutely the cheapest fuel around! Need more places like this that aren't just price gouging fuel prices. For owner ops, cheaper fuel prices are a must and truly help us make the most of this career. The pumps and parking lot are under construction but it's still easy to get in and out and they still have parking available. Very nice place to stop for a 10 as well. Quiet.

Diesel pumps are nasty. I suggested they pressure wash them. I was told they are fine. A little effort would be considerate to truckers spending hundreds each fill. Wont return. It's worth the extra cost to have clean facilities.

I didn't like the look of the pumps so we skipped getting gas but my kid had to potty so we did use the rest room. Which was dirty and not well taken care of. The whole station is in need of repairs honestly.

Currently under construction..or seems to be. Men's bathrooms do not have doors. They have curtains and the door to the bathroom itself is held open by a cable of some kind.Horrible things written within the bathroom stalls.All the items within the store are coated in dust.The person working the counter was nice enough, but everything else raised many concerns.
