We were lucky enough to enjoy the Farm to Table Fiesta night on 30 July. The staff there were ready to welcome us at 7 pm with a cool strawberry drink and everything already smelled great. There were Sombreros on each table holding tortilla chips and a pairing or salsa and guacamole cups as well.As each table was prompted we walked through the food line to get a Papusa and continue munching before the taco flights were brought to us, followed by tractor-churned ice cream and the very informative hay rack ride. Very cool experience!

We had a blast at sunflower fest this weekend. Lots of entertainment for the littles, beautiful u-pick flowers, and good food. Watermelon slush was delicious as was the lemonade. Fun for the whole family!!

What an awesome little gem off of Maple. I had no idea Nelson Farm was located so close to where I live. It is a great little farmers market that sells local produce and some delicious treat. It's a great place for the entire family. Recommend the blueberry donuts. They are delicious.

I thought it would be fun to visit this past wk. Did not know what to all expect, first time going. Their strawberry lemonade is a must try! The reason I gave a 2 star was because I paid 15 per person, myself, and my two girls. My son was free bc he is 3. For 15bucks a person there was nothing to do. The cart ride wasn't running, and there cafƩ was closed. The market only had one food option. We went over lunch thinking we could just eat there...not the case. Definitely not worth 15 bucks a person with nothing to do. The animals were cute but had to pay an additional 5bucks per cup for them to feed them. Overall spent 60bucks to just walk around.

What an amazing family who have servants hearts! Our group did the farm to table dining event at Nelson's Produce Farm and we were not disappointed! This family shared the farms history, the vision they have for the future of farming and how involved they are in our local community. This farm is easliy walkable with many things to see and plenty of things to keep the kids entertained. Farm animals all over and some pretty cute farm kittens too!

Fun little farm with a large petting zoo, cafe, market store, kids education area, hay bail climbing area, hay ride, tractor ride, tire jungle gym & slide, pick your own produce, large slip & slide, and many more. Fun place to spend a few hours with the family. Not expensive and doesnāt take up your whole day.

I just cannot believe this place have only three reviews on google. It should be one of the most tourist point in Omaha . Well, thinking about that me and my girlfriend decided just taking shots that really show how good this place are . We had so much fun and found so much to do even if the sunflowers wasnāt grow yet . We harvested strawberries , tomatoes, had lunch . The staff treated us very good and so kind . We took the little train around the farm and got some organic food .We loved the animals .I definitely was in love for this place :) Iām 27 and my friend 30 . This places is for all ages .

I went to see the sunflowers. I'm not sure how I'd never heard of this place before. It's a great family farm. If I had younger kids, I'd take them! They have a bunch of simple farm fun stuff for little kids to do there And animals to feed. Next year, I'll go when them sunflowers are in early bloom, not late but that's my fault, not theirs. There is also a market shop to buy locally grown and made produce and products. Definitely a hidden gem close to home!

Our three children had a blast sliding down the many slides, going for a train ride, climbing bales of hay, feeding the animals, and running around the farm. We had mac and cheese and apple cider slushies - both very tasty and at a decent price. They have wagons for use on the farm at no extra charge. We stayed for over four hours and the two youngest were not ready to leave when it was time for us to go. There is plenty to do without being overwhelming. For adults, you can pick your own veggies and shop in the little country store. We will definitely be back again soon!

Farm to Table Dining Experience Alert! Last night I had the privilege to attend @nelsonproduce ās first āFarm to Tableā event for the year and it was absolutely a delightful experience. The location is right outside of Valley, NE so about an 20-30min drive depending on where in Omaha you live. At the location they had large community tables set up with some pretty neat decor all over including some nice hanging lights for when it got darker. This dining experience comes with a 3 course meal where most of the ingredients are grown or raised right there at the farm. Itās BYOB so you can bring whatever youād like to enjoy with your food. After the main course you have the opportunity to hop on a hayrack ride that takes you around the farm so you can hear the Nelsonās story.Thereās a local market there so if you wanted to buy some produce to bring home you could do that as well. The hosts were super friendly and so were the people who attended this event. Please feel free to follow me on IG @markthisplacedown

It was a nice day to go there. Very much set up for young families with children. Not a good place for old people. Prices were high, a pound of honey was 36 dollars. Probably should have gone to the Renaissance Fair...

This is a smaller, but much more family feeling farm! Just walking in, we were treated like family there. Everyone is so friendly and kind and willing to help. They have staff working throughout the farm to ensure a safe and fun environment for kids and adults. Great place! We will certainly be going back!

I currently work here, but it is such a great work environment and everyone is friendly! The farm is so adorable and thought out. It is a great place to spend a day on the farm with kiddos. They have so many fun festivals and events. Itās a great night out or day with the kids. (Picture is my daughter in a Nelson jack-oā-lantern)

There is much fun to be had for all ages. Little slides, big slides, trikes, giant corn pit, sand pile, farm "work" for kids, a barrel ride ( for adults and kids), tons of animals to pet, and lots of tables and shade for lunch! I found the field trip prices to be manageable for a large in-home childcare. We will be back next year.

Great fun for my 2-yr old and the visit included a range of experiences - seeing tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, and strawberries growing; meeting ponies, horses, baby goats, cows, bulls, alpacas, ducks, chicks, donkeys and sheep; climbing and sliding; playing in the sand pit with the sand toys; climbing on and jumping along hay bales; riding the train; riding toy cars; riding trikes; visiting the cafe and market for food (the strawberry pie was to die for!) and produce to take home; plus his favorite experience was playing and rolling around in the silo with corn kernels.

Took my granddaughter there. She loved it. She is 3 and a half. It's geared toward the smaller kids. Orange pumpkin bounce pad, Train, slides from big haybales, (large and small), feed the animals petting zoo. Play farm houses, small tractors for the kids to ride, and lots of pumpkins!

Going back next weekend to buy some more produce with friends and family. Can't wait to show people what real customers service is all about. Thank you Nelson family farm. You've got a GREAT farm.

Always a great time. My kiddo loves feeding the animals, the tractor rides, hay bale forts/slides and corn pit. They change it up every year and add something new. Great produce as well!

Awesome spot. Customer service was questionable. Had a lady named Melissa in a red shirt saying one thing and then a guy in a ball cap driving a tractor kicking us out saying something completely different. Maybe someone was just having a long day.

Excellent, old-fashioned, active, outdoor , get-dirty fun for kids. Yummy lunch and snacks at the cafe. Get your pumpkins and fall decor needs at the same time. People were there, but it was not overcrowded on our visit.
