A very small fish hatchery. Employees were friendly and gave us a small tour and some educational information about the hatchery. This is one of 5 hatcheries in the State of Nebraska. They raise fish in some small ponds that are filled with water from the nearby dam.

I called the Valentine hatchery to see if I could take my 8 & 9 year old boys there for a tour and was greeted by an extremely unenthusiastic man saying we don't have anything here to look at. The state should change their website to state this rather than encourage people to call to schedule a tour.
