We love Butler Vet! Dr. Wood and her staff are very friendly and caring. They have always been there for us even in an emergency. Our pets are treated like family. We have boarded our pets there also and have always been greatly satisfied. Highly recommended !

i recommend to anyone that has pets whether if you’re a first pet owner or not. just today, i brought in my cat with me since she was showing decreased activity and wasn’t in her silly and crazy behavior. the tests were pretty cheap as i had a small budget to run by and what surprised me was how quick the visit was! Dr. Wood gave me a lot of assurance in regards to my cat child’s fever and is helpful in regards to services. all of today’s visit was a total of $105! which was a relief to my anxiety. As a first pet owner and new to this experience, i recommend this place for your furry friends whether it’d be your dog or cat child(rens)😂again big kudos to dr. wood! i highly recommend her if your need of assistance for your furry friend in the case of emergencies or check-ups! she handled my cat well and although she was a little scared to open up to her, she did quite well. thank you so much again!

Ruby and Rickie saw Dr. Ashley Quinn, a new vet. Ruby, of course, you can do anything to; she is sweet and lovable and doesn't hold a grudge. Rickie, however... Rickie is the cat that nightmares are made of. She has attacked church missionaries from stair landings! She was NOT pleased to be in her crate, nor to be taken out of it. She got her shots so quickly, however, that she didn't even have time to threaten or hiss. They rubbed the flea meds on her as quick as a wink, and slid her back into her carrier. She was so overwhelmed that she didn't even threaten anyone on the way home, just curled up and slept!

These folks never fail my babies. When I call with a major concern they jump to get my babies in. The care and compassion they have towards my babies is amazing! They are busy but always take the time to answer my questions and my concerns! And because of that all my babies(chihuahuas) are happy healthy and on the mend! Even my daughters pitbull is on the mend and healthy! Yall are great! Thank you for the excellent care you give!

This was my first time traveling to Butler Vet Clinic. My daughter who studied animal science and a supporter of the clinic always highly recommended and supports its business. I was very pleased with the professional care and especially the staff's kindness, helpfulness, and exclamations answering my questions about my dog's care. I certainly recommend the clinic to others. My dog and I left the clinic feeling relieved and content! We look forward to future care.

I was up around Valentine bird hunting in October and the dogs had run-ins with porcupines and one of the dogs got something in their eye. Butler clinic saw us on short notice and was very helpful in keeping the dogs healthy. Very fair prices and everyone was extremely helpful. Highly recommend this business to any dog owners.

Unfortunately, after almost 20 years, and 4 cats, my trust and heart have been completely broken. Things have changed at Butler, and the hired staff act like guards. A pet emergency requiring me to speak to the vet I have trusted for so long shouldn't require me to beg receptionists for approval to speak to the person I trust most there. As I am out of town, it also should not involve me loading up a very old guy who is going to be negatively impacted by a trip just so I can make another appointment. $$$. Yep, I was understandably upset about the total lack of caring for my kids emergency, my ignored need to speak to a trusted person in an emergency and their rabid over reaction concern for my resulting faux pa. Who holds an animals life hostage because of it? Well, apparently Butler does, or at least the guards at the door do. I doubt Dr. Wood even knows I called. And that's the sad part because I trust Dr. Wood. She's always been great. And as a bonus, because they(The STAFF who work as a TEAM) hurriedly closed out my boys account I can no longer get him the help he needs, or the "prescription" food he needs because they will not approve the request when I order it online. Its a shame Dr. Wood is being shielded so heavily by the "staff team", I find it hard to believe she would be happy about it.EDIT: You know what, nevermind. I'm not going to address your response(which are mostly lies).My crime? Asking to talk to my vet whom I've confided for almost 20 years. Your response? WE'RE A TEAM over and over and over. Frustration and emotion boiled over on my part. For that, I apologize and I'm sorry for yelling GOODBYE(1 word) over the phone.But I'd like to ask you, how old are/were Hope and LilBoy? And when you answer that wrong, ask yourself, why aren't you listening instead of blaming?And that's it. We've walked away, for the better and for good reason. I've said my peace.I grieve for my kid now, the one who suffered because you refused to listen.That's truly heartbreaking.

I rescued four kittens and Butler Vet was recommended by a local animal lover friend I made. They have been incredible in helping me care for them and were very kind and empathetic about the two that didn't make it. For the remaining two, they've been exceptionally accommodating in answering my questions, and I appreciate their Saturday hours as I am not able to travel to Valentine on weekdays. They were also very kind when I needed their emergency services and charged a very reasonable price.

I am not a fan of giving 5 star reviews but Dr. Wood and the staff at Butler Veterinary Clinic deserve 5 stars.I've been there twice in the last 2 and a half weeks over my almost 11 year old Lab for emergency reasons. The first time was because my girl essentially ate something wrong on a Saturday but the second time was on Monday after hours, she was hit by a careless driving and lost her tail. I live 30 miles away in South Dakota so Dr. Wood and one of the staff members, I apologize I didn't catch her name, stayed and waited for us to show up. I was a crying, nervous wreck and I'd say they were there for me as much for the dog. My girl received the most loving and professional care at Butler Veterinary Clinic and really the cost was actually affordable for all that was done for her.100% recommended.

Very flexible and accommodating with a wonderful staff. Amazing boarding facility at a fantastic price with personal care and attention to detail a big city would never beat. Our dog loves Dr. Wood and gets excited every time we pull into the clinic.

I was going to be camping with my family and we planned to go down the river. I knew I could not bring my puppy who is 14 weeks along so I called butler's and made a daycare appt. When I showed up I explained that he was fearful of new ppl and starting to show aggression. They were so helpful, caring, and made me feel so much at ease. Even gave me a handout and suggestions to help with his fear aggression. Highly recommend

Asked for a vet during business hours and they never had one so I had to wait while my dog was getting sicker for a vet to show up after hours never got a call when a vet arrived took the dog in about dead by then payed extra for after hours.
