I like the open floor plan and the large dining area with very interesting lighting. The nacho Burger was delicious. The fresh ground beef makes a huge difference in the taste and quality. I wish they had better salads though. All they offer is plain lettuce with lots of different toppings. I much prefer a vegetable salad with cucumbers and bell peppers. There's just not much nutritional quality in lettuce.

We hosted a leadership group at Chatterbox and attribute much of the event’s success to Cindy and her team. The friendliness, timeliness, DELICIOUSNESS of the food, and comfortable setting made our group feel at ease, deepening the connections across the table. The space is outstanding and thoughtful, with its rich family history illustrated inside and outside. The ways Chatterbox meaningfully supports their community is the cherry on top. I highly recommend visiting Chatterbox with friends, family, and groups of all sizes. I can’t wait to come back.

Stopped in for lunch and we were greeted by friendly staff and a great atmosphere. We had the Jalepeno Popper burger which was the special burger of the day and it was delicious. The hand cut fries were cooked to just the way I enjoyed them, a little crisp but not crunchy. Overall a really great lunch experience.

Ordered take-out from here on a Saturday night. The wait for the food was very reasonable considering that the place was packed. We ordered the cheeseburgers which came with fries. The meal was great and very flavorful. Will definitely come back.

We were on a road trip with friends, stopping at fun places for a drink. Stopped in during the afternoon quiet. Chatted with the owner and the gals at the bar. Really well put together place. Great indoor and outdoor seating. We were too early for food, but the menu was unique and everything sounded really good! We plan to road trip again so that will be our food stop!

Love stopping by Chatterbox! The food is always amazing and the atmosphere is wonderful for such a small town, this review gets 4 instead of 5 stars due to the lack of service the night we went. There was just 1 server for the whole place and it seemed to slow down orders being delivered and for any other needs to be fulfilled. We understand how short staffed places get and never held it against anyone...just does meet our past experiences that we have had here.

The staff was super friendly. They have a nice selection of (mostly) Nebraska beers. Limited menu, but ready to find something you'll like. The color changing water glasses are a fun touch. The outside area is really pretty. The fries were really salty, but still good, as was the rest of our food..

Friendly place with several interesting eating spaces, a wide variety of drinks including a good selection of local microbrews, and excellent food. The Chatterbox Salad is served daily and I recommend it. Monday is wing night, wings are delicious and hearty. Wednesday is pizza night and Thursday is Mexican night. Friday and Saturday have a full menu, including steaks. We will be back!

Such a cute place. My food was good for the price. Others at our table I'd beg to differ. Surf and Turf price should be lower or offer an full size steak. Steak bites are hard to cook properly and more times than not, end up very very over cooked and at $30.00, its very disappointing. The sides were quite small as well. The service was friendly but they needed a few more employees tonight. Kitchen was backed up and wait staff was stretched thin.

I can't say enough good things about this place. First off, it's AWESOME how the owners opened up a place in their home town in order to help their community. Second, there is a great atmosphere in the place, well worth the drive from wherever you are. Third, great selection of local beer. And last but not least, the food is delicious and always changing. Do yourself a favor and get some great food and drinks while supporting the local community

Cindy and her staff worked with us to have a special lunch for my groomsmen before my wedding ceremony in Oakland, and the setting was perfect. The food was delicious, and the service was friendly and accommodating. We spent time out on the patio playing bags and then moved inside for a few drinks and great conversation. Chatterbox was the perfect venue to catch up with the lads before the wedding. When we come back to Nebraska for the holidays, I’m hoping the steak tips will be on the menu!

Stumbled upon this place accidentally. Would drive back up from Omaha for dinner! Awesome steak steak and chicken. Good service and atmosphere. Steak and chicken were melt in your mouth !! Menu is limited but plenty of sides and they know how to cook steak! Take a drive out of the city.

This place is worth driving out of your way to get to! What the menu lacks in choices it MORE than makes up in quality and great taste. Be sure to try the beef tips with fried romaine if it is available, what a treat. I was skeptical about the fried romaine at first, but was an instant convert with the first bite. Other menu choices are also great!

I had a fabulous time at this establishment! The atmosphere is so fun and relaxed! It's private and you feel like your in you own oasis! Good food and great staff! The owner is a sweetheart! This is a great place to road trip to!

We went there after the Warrior Dash and the place was about half full when we got there. We waited 10 minutes to even be asked if we had been helped, then waited roughly an hour to get chips and dips. Then another 20 minutes for a meal. On top of this it was good we ordered off a shortened menu (6 items). I would not recommend unless you’d like to wait almost 2 hours just to get your food.

Went here for our grandsons graduation party. The place was clean. The food was great and the staff were amazing. And they cleaned up lol. Had a really nice time. We would go back!!

Really bad service. We were completely ignored by the waitress after our order was taken, to find 40 minutes later she had forgotten to place it. It was nearly empty so no excuse for being busy. And, she had a bit of attitude toward us when we expressed our displeasure.

We visited on Steak night. It was our first time here. We were extremely impressed with our food. We ordered the large filet and the cowboy steak. The cowboy steak is much thinner than the filet, and comes with grilled onions and mushrooms. It is the sides of tthe tenderloin. They cut their own meat here. Both steaks were cooked to the perfection of our liking, and both tasted wonderful. The filet was huge, about a.3 or 4 inch cut. Both steaks were tender enough to cut with a butter knife, and the flavor was amazing! On top of that, we had a poppyseed bread pudding for dessert. I am not a huge fan of bread pudding, but this was as good as the steaks!Yes Tekameh is a small town, but this place can hold it's own against the top steakhouses in Omaha. It's an eclectic feel, and you can actually have a conversation and hear each other. Background music was playing, but they had it turned down enough to chat with each other. The place was packed, but still not overly noisy. Plenty of free parking here as well. They have a different food theme every night. Saturday is steak night, and that's all they offer except for the chicken breast with onions and mushrooms. They served creamed corn and roasted potatoes, along with a salad and bread all as part of the meal price. So many steak houses charge extra for sides. Check them out on Facebook. The prices are very reasonable, much cheaper than Omaha, and the taste is worth the drive.Service was great! We will definitely be back!Thank you Chatterbox for an excellent Dinner!
