Over the last year of going to SSC DQ I have had several bad experiences I will share a few now as I am Done going there until they are under new management.1. They cannot seem to fix there speaker in the Drive thru so communication Is Clear.2. They have either gotten my order wrong or forgotten to give me something several times as if they just don't Care enough to Pay attention.3. I have drove all the way across Town several times just to find out they are not even open yet at 11:30am yet the sign says Open 11am used to be 10am.4. Half the time I have went at 11:30am-12:30pm They tell me the Kitchen is Closed.5. I have pulled up to the Drive thru several times and waited several minutes without any response from the speaker even after speaking up and trying to get there attention eventually had to pull up to the window and knock on it as they are not paying attention to that either and it's not because they are busy it's because they are on there Phones or Goofing off.Bottom line I will not be returning to the SSC location and I advise everyone else to do the same and not waste your time.

Took nearly ten minutes for ice cream cones, asked for one in a cup for our child. We got our slushy drink quickly, then a long wait for one cone, had to ask for the third item, the small vanilla with a cup and the multiple teenagers just stared at us when we asked for our final item. No cup. We understand mistakes happen but don’t make us feel like the idiots for asking for what we paid for. Awful service.

Hands down, one of the worst Dairy Queen's I've been to. Me and my sister just got lunch there and we order 2 burger combo meals. One was a cheeseburger and one was a bacon cheeseburger. We wait about 15 minutes and our order comes out. There is only one small bag. I look inside and there is one burger and a side of onion rings(which is the only thing they got right in our order), the burger is made wrong and we don't have my sister's entire meal(she paid $23 for the whole order). When she went to go tell them that they got our order wrong, the teen cashier asked if she still wanted it. of course, she paid for it.Once she finally told her it took another 10 minutes for the cashier to even ASK what was wrong with the order.We waited until they made it correctly and our lunch was still mediocre. My burger was cold and they barely had any sauce on it.

Went to grab a couple hotdogs and slushie drinks for my kids and waited in-line at the drive thru for almost 25 minutes. When I ordered, I seen there was a 2 for $5 deal for chili dogs, hamburgers and fries and pretzels. I asked if they could get me 2 hot dogs with out the chili for the $5 deal. They said yes. I then went ahead and ordered the two small Misty slushies and a hamburger as well as a pretzel for the 2 for $5. I went to the window and waited another 30 minutes because I only received 1 hotdog, 1 hamburger and 1 pretzel. They came back to the window when they seen I wasn't leaving and I said I was missing items. They gave me the slushies and closed the window. I waited again until someone came back and asked what did I need. I said well I only received 3 food items when I paid for the 2 for $5 for 2 hot dogs and 1 hamburger and 1 pretzel. The kid said ok so you got extra food then? I said no. I'm sorry is there a manager that I can talk to please? Another employee came to the window and asked what the problem was. I said well I only received 3 food items when I paid 2 x for the 2 for $5 deal. I am missing a hot dog. The employee looked at me as if I had 3 heads. She said I don't understand what the issue is......Basic math here.......I said never mind. I have been in line now for a total of 40 minutes and there's a long line. The manager on shift said oh ok and handed me the receipt. I left and over paid for 4 food items. Only received 3. I was also charged for an additional hamburger that I never ordered and never received.I will not be back.

Stood in line for awhile only to find out they couldnt make any meals. Only serve ice cream. So we left.The other day, they werent even open.And before that, the chicken strips were way overcooked.Used to be a good place to go, but not anymore.

My partner and I couldn’t find any open to close hour but online says there were open when I got home at 8:30.But I got there at 8:17 p.m. I was told they were close and truly not mad about that. What makes me mad is the fact that they allowed someone to wait a few minutes and order but when I pulled up was told they closed even though the person right in front of me was able to order. No one was behind me wasn’t told machines were shutting down. Was just told they were closed and nothing else.

I have gone 3 days in a row and ordered a hotdog w/ mustard and onions and soft pretzelsDay 1. Hotdog w/ ketchup & mustard and my pretzelsDay 2 Hotdog w/ only mustard, pretzels cold with no salt.Day 3 Hotdog w/ ketchup & mustard and soft pretzelsAt this point I don't know if they just don't know how to make just a hot dog w/ mustard and onions or if they just have something against my orders. Horrible ExperienceAfter 27 minutes wait still no service.It took them 12 minutes to take order of car in front of us then after waiting 15 additional minutes at speaker finally drove off.Attempted to make purchase Sundat 10/23/22 at 430 pmThere were only 2 cars infront of us in drive through and 3 total cars in parking lot.While waiting 4 other cars pulled up behind us and left.Sad way to run a business. Looks like from the reviews the ownership need to get kore hands on and not just apologize for the horrible service.

Drive thru was quick but not that efficient. I ordered a chocolate shake and got a vanilla one. There were no napkins in my takeout bag even though I ordered messy chili cheese hot dogs. Lobby was closed on the middle of a Saturday afternoon to either dine-in or to be present to correct the errors.

I just was there and got 2 chicken strip baskets. And the white gravy was just water with both of them and they don't give you the full meal you are paying for. Missing chicken strip and no toast in either of the baskets but I sure did pay for it. Very disappointed in my food and how the employees can't take the time to make sure your order is good or right. It was myself and one other car so not like it was busy. Its to bad do like to stop there sometimes.

Have had a few times of waiting in drive thru more then 30 mins. Tonight spent 15 mins by the speaker no answer. Ended up pulling forward. Another 15 mins waiting to get to the window. When got their they just walked away. Four people working they were standing around talking. Ended up driving away and didn't get anything. Waste of my family time. Bad customer service. The south sioux DQ most of the time is bad experience.

Terrible customer service, very rude! While ordering I was interrupted two times in mid sentence with “is that everything?” so the second time I replied “ it’s going to be a long one” in a nice tone. When she repeated the order it was incorrect so I corrected it and she repeated it again with a huge attitude. I asked for my blizzards (4) with lids while ordering and they came with out I politely asked again and the young girl at the window grabbed them back very quick and was upset that she now had to put lids on them. A lady who seemed to be a manager or owner was there the entire time, so this behavior seems to be ok with them (if that is who the lady was). THIS IS NOT THE FIRST BAD EXPERIENCE I live close by and was hoping something has changed, but it has not.

My family and I went to this location for blizzards. The service was not up to par. When we walked in, there was not a single person at the counter. When someone actually came up, they didn't greet us or anything. She just stared at us until we started giving our order. When we got our blizzards, mine was mostly melted. They also mixed up the ingredients. My husbands had most of the toppings that mine should have had, while mine had barley anything. Poor service and food.

I am very disappointed with the service! First afternoon they forgot to give me my chicken sandwich. I called when I arrived to work and they new exactly what I was calling for. I returned the following day and ordered a burger meal with onion rings and asked for my chicken sandwich that they owed me.bi also asked for another order of onion rings to go with my chicken sandwich which I would gladly pay for. I spoke clearly, I thought and I specifically requested mustard only on my burgervas well. Guess what? They didn't add the onion rings and my burger was full of ketchup and Mayo. I called to complain twice because I first noticed the second onion ring order missing, and secondly because I discovered the error on my burger. Oh and when I asked to speak with the manager I was told " she is busy right now, can I take your info". At first I thought it was me not speaking clearly but then I looked at the reviews and realized it's happened to others. I won't visit this Dairy Queen and more during my stay here. Bit of advice owner....read the reviews and fix your issues or you will continue to lose money and business!!

The employees are sooooo lazy. My mom was a car ahead of me (in the drive thru) and ordered a chicken strip basket, she got hers no problem. It was my time to order and I tried to order the same thing and they told me "the kitchen is closed, we were short of staff". I guess you just magically run out of staff in 5 minutes.

Employees were completely impersonal. Malt was soupy. Not much ice cream in it. My wife's hot caramel Sunday had very little caramel in it. This is the last time we will go there.

Is it just me or they're just not as good as they used to be. In the 80s 90s the place was the bomb. Who didn't like their footlongs their shakes are Dilly Bars hot fudge sundaes peanut buster parfait. I think it's over commercialized anymore prices are sky-high and the flavor is nothing what it used to be. And the blizzard if the cup gets any smaller won't be room for ice cream and Snickers to share the same cup. A family of four pulls up, everyone for a blizzard... you had him a $20 be lucky to get change back. Now that's ridiculous.

I spent a few months in Omaha and love Raising Cane's chicken fingers, I saw that DQ offered something similar, so I ordered their 6 piece. I honestly wasn't expecting too much but I was blown away, the chicken was nice and crispy not oily at all, the bread was nicely buttered and the fries were good. Also enjoyed the oversized dipping sauces. Would definitely recommend 👌

Sorry, I wish I could give a positive review, but I have to be honest, definitely needs some work here. If it wasn't our local DQ, I'd go somewhere else. There is ALWAYS a mess up on our food orders (orders ranging from two desserts to meals for three people plus desserts). Staff is so-so. Most of the time they are friendly, I have had attitude thrown at me before though. If you have the choice, go somewhere else or keep your order small and pay attention to what they bring to you.

The staff is always messing up and the place needs to be updated and the staff needs better training every time the manager is there we end up getting free food bc she is yelling at staff for screwing up. Dairy Queen needs to have upper management step in and take care of some of the crap. We only go there every once in a while but mostly drive the 30mins to a different one or don't go at all.
