We booked this hotel for an over night to split our trip up and boy were we disappointed! We pulled back the sheets and found a used tissue and it looks as if the sheets in both beds where never changed. Went to the front desk and they apologized and said will upgrade you to a suite. He said I will check it for you before you move. Comes back says it looks good. Upon walking in the floor wasn't vacuumed, there were no towels, the bathtub had not been cleaned (scum and dirt) and there were sugar packets laying next to the bed. After pulling the blankets back the sheets looked like they weren't even changed. Packed up and moved hotels. Worst ever hotel I have ever stayed at. Then when I called my third party booking agent to get a refund they said they had no information on file. Took me an hour to get it resolved. I even had a letter from the night attendant.

Wow. My worst hotel experience ever! When we checked in, our room had not been cleaned; the bed was unmade, there was garbage in the bathroom, the shower faucet didn't work properly, and the water temperature was only tepid. There were no towels in the pool area and the hot tub was not working. They checked three more rooms until they found one that was ready for us. The hallways had not been vacuumed. The breakfast was very sparse, the egg product and potatoes were cold, the counter surfaces were sticky, the chairs were sticky, the top of the cooler where the one or two packets of cream cheese and a little milk was being kept was covered in grime. The best part was our keys worked long enough to get us into the room and then quit working. We tried six different sets of keys--none of them worked so we had to get a staff member to let us into our room everytime we needed to get in. I will NEVER stay here again!

If I could give no stars I would.1. Pet excrement stains all over the floor.2. Pool is down.3. No restaurant as priceline states.4. NO HOT WATER!!5. Bed was a mess.6. Desk worker was outside smoking cigarettes and playing on his phone when I pulled up. Dressed like he was just released.I turned in my keys and left after 20 minutes. Not sure how this place has any kind of good reviews.

The rooms were very dirty. Rooms were missing towels. Microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, sheets stains, and comfortable missing for some off the rooms. The bathrooms were very dirty, floors weren't vacuum. Myself and my husband were put in a room that was suppose to be out of ordered. My two sons and daughter split a room and paid in cash. So the next morning we went up to the desk to talk the manager about ever. That is when we found out that our room wasn't suppose used and my kids were not ever registered to the room they were staying. The front dest guy that check us in took their money and when then found out he was a sex offended and he watch ours kids swim in the pool when the pool wasn't even suppose to be open. All we wanted was our money back and we would leave cause we booked for 2 night. The manager and owner refuse to give us our money due to their 24hr cancelation policy. The worse expenses ever. Will never stay there again or recommend any staying there.

This is the worst place to stay. I booked a suite and it was filthy. The sheets were dirty, the bathroom floor had hair on it, there were stains on the carpet that looked like an animal had relieved themselves by the refrigerator, and the bathtub wouldn't drain. There's a sign stating they have a vending machine, but it was broke. The ice machine was broke as well.My group was downgraded to a different room for the night. After being sent a receipt showing a refund for the downgrade, I have continued to check my bank account every day since 3.5.24 and have yet to receive the refund. The manager, Nadia, claims she can't give refunds? She claims the place has been sold yet again and the area manager "is so busy right now, it may take a while to get her help with my refund issue."Definitely wouldn't recommend this place.Rooms: In need of upgrades and repairs. Not clean. Carpets are quite stained. Bathtub wouldn't drain and had moldy/mildew stains.

Went to check in and was assigned room 108. Went to the room and it wasn’t cleaned in any way. When I went to the front desk, Jeremiah made it a point to say how he knows the owner personally and we can go somewhere else because we were upset over the room being unclean, saying he knows the owner personally and he can just cancel the reservation because he doesn’t know the difference between being rude and being upset over the circumstances. He was extremely rude and unprofessional and very unapologetic. He was not behind the desk when we walked in and didn’t even have the curtesy phone with him.He absolutely did not care about having patronage in any way and made it very clear how he felt. When asked for his name he refused to give it, but he was wearing a name badge with his name written on it. We let him cancel our reservation and went elsewhere. If I could leave a lower ranking I would.Absolutely do NOT recommend this hotel to anyone for any reason. There are other hotels, that have working facilities and are clean who would actually appreciate having business come in.

We pulled into Sydney around midnight after 12 hours of driving and road conditions declining. Randy got us checked into a room with a king bed quickly and without hassle. The room itself was better than something like a super 8 or similar budget hotel, but priced similarly. Breakfast was good, nothing special but they had waffle makers so I was happy. Again, it wasn't anything spectacular, but for $85 a night for a clean room with a king bed and breakfast included it was a great place to come across in the middle of the night and the truck stop next door made it super convenient to refuel and grab snacks for the road before heading out.

Where do I start? When we got to our room, it had not been cleaned: the bed was unmade, garbage on the bathroom counter. Waited while the attendant tried 3 more rooms--none had been cleaned. Hot tub was closed. No towels at the pool. Got back to our room (finally found one that at least looked clean) to find that the key cards wouldn't work. So many trips to the front desk to attempt newly programmed keys, which never did work! Had to go find a worker to let us in every single time. In the morning, even the workers couldn't open it, apparently due to a short in the lock. Shower faucet handle was dysfunctional. Water temp never got past tepid. Breakfast was sparse and beyond disappointing. Everything was dirty, sticky.Never. Again.

I just parked at loves, but the said something about being able to park in the street on the east side of the hotel. With AARP or booking or Priceline the price for the night for my wife and I on 03/18/24 was around $90. The pool and hot tub are open, however even though it’s heated the pool is still a bit cold and the hot tub is broken so no jets, that being said it was still nice to soak. The guy at the desk when I checked in was great, super helpful and friendly. Breakfast was decent, no meat but powdered eggs, cereal, yogurt, a waffle machine, and some bread choices. The bed was pretty comfortable and I slept pretty well. All in all I’d stay here again. Wifi is adequate for minimum connection if like me, you have poor cell signal here.

Our room was dirty, sheets were stained and didn’t have a comforter on one of the beds or a shower curtain. My kids were with my sister and in the pool that was supposed to be closed off and had watched them through the cameras, far enough to grab towels for them before someone even got to him to ask for some. To learn the next day he’s a registered sex offender. He stole my sister and brothers money for their room bc he said they take cash to the exact change.Safety: Not good. Be careful out there.

Front desk staff is friendly, however anything positive stops there. Our bathroom was dirty, there was empty shampoo bottles in the shower and was obvious that the toilet, shower and sink were not cleaned. We found dog food under the bed and then there was coffee spilt on the side table that was not washed up. It was not a stain we were able to wash it ourselves. Food dried on top of the microwave. We cleaned the room and bathroom ourselves from supplies we purchased at Walmart, which is very close. We are aware we should have cancelled our stay and found rooms elsewhere.Rooms: Everything was dated which is okay but as a whole no one in our group had a clean room.

This place was PERFECT! PERFECT! The pool hours were 6-12 am so I was able to swim even though we arrived late. Delicious, full breakfast. Super friendly staff. Great price. Comfy beds. Clean bathroom and room. And to top it off, a quirky vape shop/casino/arcade/bar with food attached to the hotel.I couldn't have asked for a more perfect place. Thank you!Nearby activities: Casino/bar/grill/vape shop attached and a bar grill across the parking lot that closes at 10 pm.Safety: Quiet location right off the highway, many truckers parked nearby, possibly staying at the hotel that don't bother anyone. Almost seemed like a remote location but seemed to be in a sleepy town and easily accessible.Food & drinks: The breakfast was amazing. I didn't try the food at the bar and grill attached to the casino but the prices were excellent. The drinks were delicious and the cost was fair - $8 for a double if I remember correctly.

Driving across the country is tiring. I looked up a place to stay for the night and found this hotel for 4.2 stars so decided to book it same-day for an overnight stay.Checked in around 10:30pm and Candy was very accommodating and welcoming. Upon going to my room I noticed several things. The facilities were somewhat dated which I usually have no problem with but when it is compounded by noticeably stained carpets in most places, sheets that look worn, damaged furniture, and stains on the table… well it kind of grossed me out a little.

First of all, I had to wait in line for 1 hr and 10 min to check in. Apparently the hotel was overbooked by 50+ rooms. After people were getting checked in they would come back down mad that their room wasn't cleaned and wanted a refund. This further delayed the wait. The poor lady working alone kept her composure despite being yelled at and continued to try to do her best. She then went and checked each room before issuing it to next patron. This place is understaffed. The front desk clerk seemed to be doing the job that multiple people should be doing. Our room was in much need of repair. The floor in bathroom had curly body hairs all over it. The sofa needed to go in the garbage. The TV did not work. Our bed linens were clean. The AC did not work properly but that was told to us beforehand and after the long wait and the late hour, I agreed it was OK we would take it. The pool and hottub area were clean. The ice machine worked. The breakfast seemed to be ran by the day front desk clerk. She too, was very polite and was trying her best to keep up with running all over.Choice hotels needs to make a better effort to have sufficient amount of employees to do housekeeping and other positions not put it off on 1 person a shift. I cannot imagine the amount of stress they had to be under with so many dissatisfied customers.Rooms: See aboveSafety: We felt safeWalkability: There is a Loves truck stop behind hotel. I seen many people walk there for drinks.

I would highly recommend this hotel! My family and I stayed here while moving across country. Rachael was very accommodating and was willing to work with us on our pets! We were given a bigger room than expected which made relaxing nice with our 3 little kids. It was clean and comfy! The pool is alright and breakfast is alright. They had some hot eggs, potatoes, waffles, yogurt, muffins and more! It’s right across from Loves and very convenient to get to! We would stay here again!

When we arrived after midnight, Josh at the front desk was super helpful and friendly. After a week camping and a very long day on the road, it was nice to walk in to a friendly face and great service. Give this man a raise. Also, breakfast was awesome. 5 stars all around.

This was a good, "basic" place to stay for a quick overnight while traveling I-80. Very convenient/close to the freeway. I wouldn't say you shouldn't stay there, but be aware that the place is a bit "tired." It was basically clean, minus the picture shelf in the bathroom. (see pic) We have stayed at Country Inn & Suites before and the breakfast has always been good, but not so at this one. Stale bread, and very few options. My husband went to eat breakfast, and told me I didn't need to bother.

We stopped here after a day of driving cross country with our baby and dog. The woman was kind at check in and gave advice on where to park for the closest access to our room, which was appreciated. Once we got to our room we found that it was not very clean, notably the floors, bathroom, and desk. You could feel how dirty the floors were under your feet and see the stains all over the carpet. It turned the bottoms of our feet brown after only a few minutes of walking on it.The tub was stained a yellow-brown color which just made you feel unclean. The toilet had clearly not been properly scrubbed in weeks as there was a water ring in it, along with marks from previous guests in the bowl. Additionally, the drain of the sink was brown from either rust or old debris, also indicating it had not been cleaned properly in a while. Another minor complaint is that the towels were small, nearly the size of the floor mat for the tub.As previously mentioned, we had our baby with us, who sat at the desk in our room to eat her dinner. I wiped it down with a Lysol wipe before she ate and it was VERY dirty. We had also requested to move rooms upon arrival as the people above us had children running around (which we totally understand) and we were concerned that it would keep our easily-woken baby up. The woman at the front desk was sympathetic, but immediately told us there weren’t any other rooms. She then said she would check her system once it rebooted and come to our room with an update. We waited over an hour with no word, not even a call. At that point our baby was overly tired and we put her to bed. Of note, the parking lot had at most 20 cars, so they most certainly were not fully booked.Other issues included the AC not working in our room and the WIFI would not connect to any of our devices. We are in our early 20s, so we are well acquainted with using technology, especially something as simple as connecting to WIFI. Additionally, the breakfast was pretty measly.Overall, I would advise anyone considering this hotel to stay elsewhere. It is dirty, outdated, and seemingly understaffed. This was our first experience at a Raddison hotel and it will likely be our last.

Called ahead of time before arriving about an hour and asked for a suit and the regional manager said oh you don’t need a reservation, we have plenty. I thought okay cool! I arrived and I was given a room that was not a suite and hadn’t been cleaned… then given after given another room that was not a suite again! I was going to just roll with it but it kinda irked me sooo… I went back up and asked nicely, so you don’t have any suits? They did have one left that was mostly clean and worked for the extra room I was looking for. It’s an old 90’s model hotel with a little bit of the 90’s smell still in the rooms and furniture. Breakfast didn’t look so good but ate what did. Only had two syrups out on the counter in a bowl under the jelly… the lady Manager that was also doing an interview didn’t ask if I needed any help even after walking by here two time while she was getting coffee. I won’t be back to this location owned by I-80 Hotels. I gave it two stars because the night crew was helpful. The morning gal was pretty preoccupied with a call she had on speaker…
