My husband, I and our 2 dogs visited here the last week of March. We had a nice relaxing time and were very impressed by the service and quality of the hotel that allowed dogs to stay (in designated rooms). The staff was very pleasant and genuinely welcoming to our dogs. Thanks Jody and Kim.When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised by some warm freshly baked chocolate chip cookies at the front desk.The room: Clean and the bed was very comfortable. My husband even commented on how we need to get that bed and take it home he hasn’t slept that good in a while! (Usually the opposite happens when we travel.)The pool and hot tub: Clean and relaxing! Plenty of clean towels.The breakfast: Wow… it was impressive! They had bacon (the good kind not the cheap microwave kind), eggs, hash browns, biscuits and gravy, muffins, gluten free options, cereal, fresh fruit, waffles, yogurt, orange and apple juice, coffee, milk, and a very attentive person to help if needed.Overall this place was great, welcoming staff, clean rooms, awesome breakfast, a nice home away from home. Cost was average compared to all the other hotels in the area that allowed dogs, had a pool and breakfast. We will be staying here again when we visit NE.

Staff were very nice,breakfast was amazing,only thing we didn’t like was we booked a single king bed room and the room was all nasty and dirty nothing was washed or swept all towels were dirty on the floor but we said something to the lady at the front desk and they replaced it with a luxurious room with hot tub and everything,so it turned out ok but there’s definitely better in the area.

Got a king sized bed with a whirlpool tub in it. The tub had hairs in it and some kind of crud. My husband went to the front desk about it and her comment was "Housekeeping" wasn't there and there's no more rooms like that. I ended up cleaning both tubs and the sink had, I'm assuming toothpaste on it. As I was checking for bedbugs, my finger went right through the sheet corner.Other than that, the bed appeared to be brand new and very comfortable. The water pressure was great. The hideaway couch was gross.Other than that, it was a great stay.Rooms: It was a great room until I looked closer.

My husband and I stayed in this hotel in September of 2023 and I just wanted to say the night clerk Mercedes was AMAZING. I had a situation regarding laundry and Mercedes jumped through hoops to fix my problem. As I was waiting in the lobby I could hear her talking to everyone checking in and she was the most friendly, upbeat person I have heard in a very long time in a customer service job. She engaged people in conversations completely unrelated to checking in, which in my opinion perked up the tired people checking in for the night. Thanks Mercedes for everything regarding my Laundry. I had no idea what I was going to do with wet jeans! Don't ever change, you will go far in life with the wonderful attitude you have. I'm giving 5 stars, mainly because of Mercedes. I told the Owner to make sure he keeps her and takes care of her financially. LOLRooms: Good size and clean, loved the quilts on the bed.Nearby activities: Great restaurants nearby and ICE CREAM places!Safety: I felt safeWalkability: You could walk to a few restaurants and walmartFood & drinks: Breakfast was only OK. I hated the eggs, but I did like the sausage!Noteworthy details: The lobby area has charm, especially by the tv with the wooden bookshelfs.

I have stayed at this place for the entire weekend. There are some good things and bad things about this place that I would like to share. I was told the hot tub was working when I checked in by first shift desk clerk and when I went to get in the hot tub at 9 pm I was told the heating element was broke. The hot breakfast was great, however overly crowded. I believe some of the locals come there everyday to eat free. The king room was nice and spacious, even had a couch in it. I awoke Saturday morning to take a shower and there was a creepy bug in the tub. Overall the location is great and I would rate this place 3 stars. The price is kinda high in my opinion. Next time I will stay next door at the Hampton Inn.Walkability: Over priced, has bugs, crowded, noisy.

Update:My last review from a few years ago has thankfully changed. The personnel were courteous and professional. Rooms were clean. Bathtub wasn't the best for soaking but served its purpose. Overall, a much improved experience than last time.Aside from the morning personnel, who were professional and courteous, employees were slobs and unprofessional. Playing games on the lobby computer instead of focusing on guests.

Have stayed for several months and never had a single issue. The rooms have always been very clean. Any small issues such as toilets that kept running or remotes not paired to televisions were addressed immediately. The staff are always very gracious and polite.

This place was great with all the amenities including pool, hot tub, hot breakfast, hot tub in rooms and in pool area. Most of all Joseph was amazing at the front desk! He is friendly goes above and beyond to really make you feel valued and just overall friendly guy you can tell it's part of his character not just something he does for his job!!!!Rooms: Hot tub, large, kitchenette, suites fireplaceWalkability: 24/7 convenient store shared with propertyFood & drinks: The food and drink were goodNoteworthy details: Tesla Chargers, hot tub, pool, fireplace, has kitchenettes.

I work as a company driver and come to Sidney every other week for work. I've stayed here bi-weekly for the past 4 years and some change and have always had nothing but good to say about the amazing staff, the clean and well maintained accommodations, and the overall experience of every stay. Plenty of restaurants and other amenities within walking distance which is also very nice! Shout out to Sherri as well for always being so genuinely friendly and being so great to check in with after a long day's work. The breakfast is wonderful as well!

Serious lack of security! We were given ground floor room. Found that window lock was partially detached from window and it couldn’t be locked. Were given another ground floor room and window was unlocked because window was bound up and wasn’t fully closed. Had to repeatedly slam window, hard enough to potentially break it, in order to get closed so could be locked. Obviously cleaning staff doesn’t confirm room is secure for next guest. Outside door at far end of building was completely unlocked even at 10:30 PM. Hotel staff said they keep fixing card reader but still problems with the card reader not locking door. We felt very unsafe. Oh - and the rooms are horribly out dated. We make cross country trip twice a year and will never stay there again. The hotel staff was pleasant and helpful but have a bad facility. Disappointed with Best Western in general - very hit and miss what facility is like.

This was a surprisingly nice place. I wasn't expecting it. The bed was so comfortable that I actually felt rested in the morning. I actually declared I need a new bed at home. The shower had great pressure and was super clean.The staff was nice and friendly, not because they had to, but they made us feel like guests.The full breakfast had plenty of options and the dining room was beautiful with the natural logs that lined the entry way.A great place to stop and rest if you're traveling through the area. We were able to charge our Tesla in the parking lot and there are plenty of restaurant choices nearby.And if you're a Cabela's fan, it's just down the street and it was the first one built.

Had a great stay here! We needed a last minute stay due to some icy roads. The staff was welcoming and the hotel was cozy and inviting. Comfortable room and good breakfast. Would definitely stay again

I'm surprised at the number of 5 star ratings. That didn't square with my own experience. On the good side, the room was clean and the staff was polite and helpful.On the minus side, the room had maintenance issues. The toilet rocked. Furniture was beat up. The mattress had a distinct sag in the spots where people normally sleep and it was uncomfortable - so in other words it was way overdue for replacement.The vending machines were sold out. Breakfast was good, but not great. They served a hot breakfast that consisted of scrambled eggs and some sort of unappetizing 3/8" round pellets. I think it was sausage, but it was just too unappetizing to even try.I get that Sidney has seen better times. The nearby former Cabela's headquarters sits empty. Still this hotel is cutting the corners on important things. We definitely won't be back.

Grand entrance lobby only for a total letdown once in the hallways and rooms. The smell seemed to try to mimic “freshness”, but totally missed the mark. There’s nothing fresh about this room. The carpets are dingy; there are crumbs surrounding all sides of the bed, and the carpet feels like it needs a deep clean or just replaced. I put my socks back on, and I loath covering my feet at night. I also wanted to take a shower, but there was a sort of stain in the tub that looked as if water had sat there for a prolonged amount of time undisturbed. I’ll wait until I get back home.Based off the other reviews I read, I have no hopes for breakfast, either, but I suppose I’ll see when the time comes.I also saw a review that showed bed bugs- I essentially stripped my bed to check, looking under the mattress and alllll over. I didn’t see anything, so that’s a good deal. Glad it was taken care of, sincerely.TLDR; updates are needed, as well as thorough cleaning. No sign of bugs in my room.

The hotel was overall great but the shower in our room was a nightmare.I'm not sure if I accidentally reserved an accessible room or if that was just what was available when we checked in (10 pm), but that should not have been an issue. However between the low lip of the shower stall and the unweighted curtain billowing in furiously it was impossible to keep the entire bathroom floor from getting wet.But that wasn't the worst part. The showerhead was so corroded that many of the holes were closed up making the pressure so intense it felt like needles and my daughter begged not to shower after swimming because it hurt her.

Great vibe. Front desk is professional, courteous and attentive. Savannah checked me in and even though the fraud protection on my payment source declined the charges, she maintained composure and checked me in expeditiously once my card decided to play nice.Joseph had the evening duties .....he is refreshing, kind and helpful!. I've never been one to chat with the front desk staff, until now. Very laid back & relaxed atmosphere yet the rooms are spotless, quiet and well appointed. Put this hotel on your <A> list when passing through! **I'm not affiliated with this hotel in any way**.

Recently stayed here with family and friends for a wedding. Jody, Katie and Mason were outstanding hosts. Every detail was attended to and they couldn’t have been more accommodating! I’d give them more stars but I can’t find that button for “above and beyond”. This staff does Best Western proud. The rooms were clean, the pool area clean and fun and the breakfasts were better than most you’ll find. I would recommend this place to anyone! Thanks again for the great service, clean and accommodating rooms and the wonderful attention you afforded me and my family. I won’t forget what an important part you you played in this event.

We didn't stay here, but used the bathroom while waiting for our Tesla to charge. The bathroom was incredibly clean and had a few toiletries available for use. I thought that was a really nice touch! It's a terrific bathroom for a charging stop!
