Very disappointed! The guy they had sacking the groceries put bread and chips on the bottom of the bags with heavier items on top in the bags! Then just threw them into the basket. When unloading into car two bags totally tore apart and several other bags had large holes in them. I was so pissed I just about went back in to see if there was a manager but, didn't think I wanted them calling the cops on me! Not sure if I will return to this store because of this idiot sacker!

Ordered grocery delivery and a majority of my order was not there. Of course I tried to call the store to see What happened and nobody answers. I have submitted a claim with Safeway online but I do not see how this happens. 10 items were missing. Of course I do not get the delivery fee or the driver tip back.

My wife and are very disappointed we live out of town and when we get home, every thing that was on sale I got charged full price! So we have been going to the other stores in Scottsbluff were sale prices are right on check out ticket.

I was at Safeway in Scottsbluff NE this morning and my checker was down right rude. Didn't say anything when I walked up so I said, "hi how are you today?" His response was just a grunt. Then I had purchased the signature brand sparkling water and he started to put all 4 of them in one bag. I said can you put them in a separate bags because I can't carry it when they're that heavy. He rolled his eyes and made an exasperated sound and still did it so I said could you at least double bags.then he left the bags in front of him and walked away. I had to reach around the card thing to grab them. So disappointing because most of the checkers there are kind and friendly

From the outside you wouldn't think much of the inside of Safeway. The store is clean with friendly, courteous staff. You need to have some patience as most check outs are full, but this is a characteristic of a regular grocery store. The meat dept has choice cuts and a great selection. Seafood and a meat counter greet you to make selections from. Bakery is far better than the big blue box store and has a variety of cakes, cookies and bagels. Pre order a cake or grab a cheesecake or ice cream cake. Deli has a variety of lunch meats, cheeses as well as a hit food case. This grocery store has it all and the friendliness of small town Scottsbluff.

Worse customer service I’ve ever received, hate going to pick up groceries every time always at least a 10 minute wait. I do enjoy shopping in store. I just think it’s ridiculous how they are the ones to let me know my groceries are ready and when I check in it’s a waiting gaming and calling them to verify doesn’t seem to work so I’m hoping this catches their attention

The Safeway pharmacy here in Scottsbluff is the best pharmacy in town. The staff are always very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. It's nice to see a pharmacist and staff have a perky and upbeat personality despite how busy and chaotic things may be.

I just moved here and did the last 3 months I keep going here... because there are only 3 other paves to go in this ENTIRE AREA. That in itself is terribly sad and what is valued a food dessert. But everything I get poduce here is moldy or turns moldy within a day or two. I'm not sure who their produce manager is, but something needs to be addressed here. And the variety is highly lacking.

I grew up in Safeway towns both in Northern California, & Western Montana. The Montana stores were fine, the California were okay. Anyhow tonight I had to pick up a few items at this Scottsbluff location, which I'm sorta wondered why I even bothered. Upon arriving at the store the parking lot was unlit, it was dark, & very hard to see much of anything. Things were layed out as in any other store, & was easily to find stuff, so I'll give it that. But the meat area was smelly, & service at the check out counter was meh. The over all store attitude felt meh too. Next time I might check out the other local grocier store instead.

I give this Safeway a 5 bcuz of the wonderful employees!! They have decent prices but really good sales! Great deli food & good bakery for the size of the store. Checkers that have been there awhile are just the bomb!! Very friendly, helpful & know you as a friend! Dairy, produce & meat cutters are so sweet!!

The people I encountered throughout the store were great and very friendly. That is until I got to the checkout. She was mad at the world. I had to say good morning otherwise she wouldn’t have said a word to me. No need to be that rude to a customer.

You know the cashier did help me save about seven bucks on my order but after looking at them I receipt I've seen that I was sort of daggered on other things I mean if you want your product as they're scanning real good and catch everything you'll get some real good sales

We shop for our family, older family members, and elderly family friends that are on fixed incomes with mobility issues. So when we are buying stuff on sale its because we are shopping for multiple family's. This store decided we could only buy the limit of 4 only one time this week, when in the past we just did multiple transactions. There was no coupon needed or digital coupon used. The cashier stated it takes too long for multiple transactions, so I offered to go back through the line and she said no and made a scene making me put them all up on her belt at the register. She then made the others wait while she went got a cart and loaded them. This took longer than if she had just done the multiple transactions. We went out loaded our vehicle and went back in to make another purchase and she came over refusing to let the checker sell us the product stating we had our product limit. Now we have to go get our elderly family friends and take them to the store with us to make their purchase. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORE. THEY ARE RUDE AND LAZY.

Went to the pharmacy and first lady I spoke with was nice, but Lori who rang up my meds was a rude and grumpy person. They few minutes it took to check out she was so unpleasant not only to me but to the other lady working at the pharmacy.

It can be slow to check out here. But if the lines are deep you can ask for extra checkers. Meat department is good. Sometimes they have great sales on meat. Make sure to get the Tuesday flyer.

Bakery is rarely stocks with donuts or fresh breads early in the morning. Even on weekdays. Inventory very low and can’t seem to ever get help.

They had what I needed but a bit on the expensive side compared to my local Safeway store. The Deli associate seemed a bit annoyed at the amount of different sides they had to measure and price. I didn't mean to offend them by trying to give my money and business to them.

I accidentally spilled the tomatoes on a stand in produce. I told customer service and they were SO kind and helpful! This meant a lot to me as I have a disability and was SO upset with myself already. Thank you for being so kind!

Went in to cash my check at 5:30 the money center part of customer service says they aren't closed till 6 I waited there for 25 minutes just to get declined as per the excuse of saying we're to short staffed. Guess you don't want my money that bad....was gonna shop after your loss!

Nice store, I didn't give it the five stars because at 9pm an hour before the store was scheduled to close for the night, with customers in the store, they began operating the gas powered floor buffing machine up down the isles next to customers. This machine is extremely loud and made the shopping experience horrible. And like the others in the store we hurried up and left. Thus cutting out many of items I'm sure we would have purchased all to avoid the noise.There is probably a hurry and get off the clock practice there, but I'm sure they could wait until closing to run that machine..

Safeway seems to have an excellent training program for its employees. All the way from California to Nebraska and in between, (Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, Nevada, Arizona etc.) the stores are well lit and organized, very clean. The employees are friendly. This is my go to store.

Good selection. Prices are quite high compared with Denver but if you're here you can't afford to drive down and back for the price difference. One of the items in my cart at checkout wasn't in the bag when I got home. I was charged for it.

Customers don't understand the meaning of 15 items or less on the express lane. They use the lane to buy grocery carts filled to the top with about 50 items. The cashier doesn't say anything to the jackass customer, while the line gets longer for people who follow the simple rules!

I love Safeway deals! I much prefer the produce here too. Sometimes the lines get long, but I'm not typically one who is in a hurry, so it doesn't bother me. The fried chicken deal on Monday is pretty great!
