We just moved to the area and have been trying to experience new foods. Our neighbors wanted to meet us at this pub and boy am I glad they did! Moving from steamboat co, we have been missing this type of atmosphere. Service here is friendly. Good here is fresh and possibly the most delicious pizza and pasta we have ever had… EVER!!! It is worth the drive (which is beautiful from Chadron to Rushville) for this incredibly delicious food that is cooked right in front of you. Before you go, especially on a weekend, do yourself a favor and call ahead to reserve seating.

My family stopped in after wrestling tournament and I know I was expecting your usual in terms of places that make pizzas. But The Twisted Turtle Pub exceeded my wildest expectations in that not only great ambiance but the most fantastic making, baking and savoring pizza I've had by far. I can't say enough about it. Too bad I live so far away. I'd recommend it for everyone.

We go to Sturgis every year and we make this pub a stop almost every year on the way there because their wood fired pizza is AMAZING! The staff is great and they know how to make a drink.

Delicious pizza, cold beer in a cold mug - plenty of choices, wonderful service, and a really neat interior. If we weren’t just passing through on a road trip we would absolutely go back often!! Definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a yummy bite to eat.

Fantastic wood-fired pizza. Huge array of toppings, really creative topping recipes (ie BBQ sauce, brisket, onions, and pineapple). Great atmosphere, it has a relaxed, open, welcoming feel.Definitely a must go for locals and travelers alike!

Sat for thirty minutes waiting on a small pizza, pretty soon the young man comes over an brings reserved sign , and tells us that their probably going to need the table we’re at , by 6:30! WTH it wasn’t reserved when we got there, so I said as long as our pizza is ready, went up to pay for our pizza and asked how long , and the kid went and asked and told us oh another 15 minutes, I told him cancel it!

Lots of Nebraska small town history and local swag. This place is great 👍🏻. They know how to make Pizza and I highly recommend the Jalapeno Popper pizza, AMAZING!!They have a good selection of domestic drafts and local breweries on tap and bottled. They have a full bar and the barkeepers have a great knowledge of mixology.

Owner was SUPER nice. We went on a VERY busy night and they worked their butts off to still get us in. But on that note, it's worth getting a reservation. (Tbh these guys are busy enough, I'm surprised they still do reservations, most places this busy do first come first serve only, a-la Texas roadhouse etc etc so they can optimize so there's never an empty table sitting there).Their bread sticks are exceptional. I will say that because they were so busy, they were rushing pizza in and out, so the stove was hot, which left the core of the pizza a touch undercooked, and the parts near the fire burnt. But again, they were doing EVERYTHING they could to keep up with how busy it was. I want to come back sometime when they aren't as busy, to see if the pizzas are cooked to order better, because I can almost guarantee they will be.

Chi wow wow wow, this was a huge surprise. Delicious! There is a smoky flavor to the pizza that is exceptional. These folks know what they are doing. We had takeout, but would love to try eating indoors someday; the interior is so cozy and inviting, it would be perfect on cold evenings with that fireplace ablaze.

Small space but inviting, not overly crowded. Be prepared to smell like smoke because the pizzas are cooked in a wood oven. They have traditional toppings ad well as some unique ones. So far I have enjoyed all I have tried.

Called to reserve a table for 7 PM. Arrived 6:45. Place was mostly empty maybe 5 or 6 other people inside at the bar drinking. Ordered 2 large pizzas, waitress brought our drinks and never checked on us again. A lot of people started arriving and ordering pizza, literally more than 8 pizzas were served to people who arrived after us. It took 1 hour 45 minutes to get our pizza and it was burnt. Not recommended!

Great pizza has finally come to NW Nebraska! I no longer have to go all the way to Rapid City for wood-fired pizza with a craft beer. I gave 4 stars only because we had to wait quite a while to get our pizza, but it was absolutely worth the wait. We ordered house salads because it was taking so long to get our pizza, and even the house salads were great. I will DEFINITELY be back.

One of my favorite places to eat or just hang out is the Twisted Turtle. The brick oven pizza is phenomenal! Be brave and try the Big Mac - it's delicious! The atmosphere is definitely not what your expect to find in a small town. The owners are awesome people too!

Wow! This place is a shining star in a charming little town! Brick oven delectable pizza and a full bar in a modern rustic environment with something to notice everywhere you look. The owners were friendly and prices made us feel like locals! We have traveled the USA extensively and we hope life brings us back down this road through Rushville just to return to Twisted Turtle! 👍🏻

Pizza was delicious. A bit burned... not sure if that is normal or not. Was still really good. Wait was long, but not as bad as we thought it might be. Overall, decent service, and great food.Ceiling fans that were old windmill vanes... would have loved to see them spinning, if they have the ability. Wife and kids LOVED the bathroom stall doors that were chalk boards!One thing I recommend... take down the old Pepsi Lazy River Saloon sign on the exterior of your building! So many ancient buildings, signs and blight in Rushville as it is... would be nice to have a property completely up to date in looks.So happy Rushville finally has a second restaurant!! Keep up the great work!
