What a surprise along Interstate 80!! Dori's historic and comfortable home is so worth the stop! She made us feel welcome in all sorts of kind and fun ways. It was a delightful respite after a long, long day on the road. Her eclectic mix of furnishings is charming! We also enjoyed walking around the small town of Potter. We highly recommend her home and look forward to staying again.

Such a charming and nostalgic place with authentic architecture brilliantly appointed in a very well maintained village with deep roots, my stay here was delightful. The hostess added an intriguing charm as she's a delightful conversationalist and such a caring and attentive lady. I shall definitely plan future trips to include a stay at this lovely place. She has a very friendly dog who loves attention and while the place has history in the Railroads and thus frequent trains going by, she's far enough from the tracks that they do not impose an issue and provide ample opportunity to observe today's rail traffic.

I was driving cross country a few weeks ago; I left Des Moines early in the morning and was headed to Cheyenne. I was about 1.5 hours from Cheyenne when a snowstorm hit and 1-80 was shut down. I tried to go further but all roads were closed and couldn't make it to Cheyenne. I definitely started to panic but searched for places to stay and found Dori's place/1912 Train Crew B&B. My dog and I decided to stay the night and it's a good thing we did! I love this Airbnb and will definitely come back. Dori is charming and such a great host. Everything is impeccably clean and comfortable. I had my dog with me and he absolutely loved it there. He played with her dog, Max, in their spacious backyard and had a wonderful time in the snow.If you are passing through Potter, NE, definitely stay here. You'll feel at home and have a wonderful experience. I'm looking forward to the next time I'm in Nebraska!

This was the first time we had ever stayed at Ah B & B, & this was the best place we have ever stayed! The house was so warm & inviting, & the owner Dory was so nice, she even cooked us A very nice breakfast, She made our stay very comfortable! We will definitely come back & stay here the next time we come through Nebraska! Thank you very much Dory!😀💖

A very quaint place to stay with some neat history. A comfortable and homey place to stay just off the highway. A nice quiet place to rest on a cross country trip.
