So nice to have a vet just down the street for urgent things that pop up. My poor girl had kennel cough pretty bad and I couldn’t make it to her regular vet because of the snow storm. The roads were so bad, but PAH got her in the same day and got her on the mend. She’s feeling so much better. The staff was so nice and showed sincere concern for her. Anytime you go to the vet it can be expensive but relatively speaking, the price was pretty reasonable. Always pay a little more for great service!

Great, great staff here. Dr. Koopman performed surgery on our dog Buddy and was friendly and efficient. This is the best place in the area for pet care. 6 stars!

Dr. Robin is amazing. She made room in a very tightly scheduled day to to assess our very ill viszla, Boomer, when our own vet couldn't get us in. She treated him with shots of antibiotics and prednazone and sent us home with oral prednazone. She stayed engaged via text daily for the next week, reviewing pictures of the area and providing advice as he continued to improve. She did all this for a non patient. I can't recommend her enough. She has gained a loyal following at our family.

As a military spouse, I've had to use veterinarian services all across the country and overseas. I can say, without a doubt, Plattsmouth Animal Hospital is in my top three vets worldwide, and number ONE here in the Omaha metro area. I've had to use several vets in the area, and I was introduced to this animal hospital via a friend 12 years ago. Since that introduction, I've not had to go "vet shopping" anymore. The staff is ALWAYS polite, kind, compassionate, empathetic, and professional. The vets themselves are the same. As a people nurse who's had to deal with doctor's egos on a regular basis, what has struck me as so wonderful is the degree of humility and honesty that these vets have. That's very rare in our world today. That's why I'm a repeat client, and I will remain a client. They are the VERY BEST for all of your animal's needs.

They worked us in last minute and were the most caring group of professionals I have had the pleasure to meet. It was a hard day finding out the worst news about our baby, but the amount of care they showed was incredible. I will be bringing our other 3 babies to them from this point forward. ❤️

Really great care for my 2 dogs 45-70 lbs. The staff seems to care a lot. The price is not cheap but you get what you pay for. Zero issues, zero worries, top of the line.

Dr. Robin is the best, I trust her with my babies 1000%! Elisabeth the office manager is amazing. Last year I had to put my sweet Piper to rest. They were so compassionate and so respectful about how they handle everything. Last week our Harley Boy was neutered. They took excellent care of him. He hasn't had any trouble.

It was our first couple of times after moving into the area and they came highly recommended. They did not disappoint!! Scheduling and check-in were a breeze. Every single person we encountered was extremely friendly and eager to help. All the doctors we saw were SO friendly and made sure to listen and answer all questions! Both our dogs(12 year old Beagle and 1.5yr Great Shepherd) were treated very well and did not show any signs of anxiety. We will be patients as long as we're in the area!!!

My almost 16 year old dog Olive started experiencing seizures and losing control of her bladder. I took her to the Plattsmouth Animal Hospital and they recommended some tests. I was very impressed with their professionalism, kindness, and most of all their empathy. All of the staff there is great, although I only worked with Dr. Ernest, I'm certain the other veterinarians there are also excellent. Today I had to take Olive to Plattsmouth Animal Hospital to say goodbye to my best friend. Their compassion, empathy, and professionalism made one of the most difficult things I've ever had to do in my life so far a little easier and I am grateful for them. I wholeheartedly recommend Plattsmouth Animal Hospital.Addendum - I brought my new bestie Chloe there today and they were great!

They’ve handled my bulldogs with professionalism and care for years. Beyond thankful for the option to have them come out and put our special boy to sleep in his own home, and their care was so worth it. This place is terrible. My cat was severely lethargic the morning I had called them to see if I could bring him by, I called them first thing in the morning when they opened and they said they could try to squeeze him in. After bringing him in, I sat there from open until closing time. Another emergency case that came in later and didn’t call ahead got seen and left before me. Finally at the end of their hours I was called back and the vet told me that my cat was a “pickle case” and they didn’t know what was wrong with him. I spent around $600 for the visit and supposed X-rays that I was NEVER offered to see. I was charged and given medication that was not explained. I was told that my cat was very constipated but yet all they gave me was some soft food that my cat wouldn’t eat.I ended up having to take him to urgent care the following day because he was getting worse. Urgent care diagnosed and treated him for a respiratory infection immediately and he is much better now. I will not be going back here.

One star is being gracious! This veterinarian hospital does not examine your animal in front of you nor do they diagnose the issue! The technician takes your animal in the back. Imagine if that was your child in a doctor's office, well this is your furry baby. If you want an open veterinarian and want to know what is happening to your animal, do not take them here!

I had a rescue cat that had signs of labor. 12 hours had passed, and no kittens. I took into the clinic where they did an x-ray, and I was told kittens were only about 45 days. Took Momma home, and the next morning, she was extremely worse. Took back to the clinic where another vet was able to push a baby out of the birth canal, and it was dead, which produced gas in mom's stomach. Emergency surgery, which I received a phone call that mom keeps crashing and, of course, didn't make it. Maybe if the previous day something would have been done, Mom would still be with us. Now left with a huge bill and the first day Vet not even a phone call with apology of thier inaccurate diagnosis.

Didn't want to see a particular vet ever again, so they refused to help my dog. Pretty hateful, (interesting it took 5 years to answer.) If saying you don't want to see a particular vet, because they treated your pet poorly is considered belligerent, you should probably want to know what made me think they were not good at their job. I didn't name the vet on purpose.

My puppy needed an ultrasound and my usual vet was not equipped to do one. I called Plattsmouth Animal Hospital on Friday afternoon and they were able to get me an appointment for Monday. The entire experience was wonderful. All of the staff I encountered were very friendly and helpful. I got a phone call from the Vet explaining the test results and answered all of my questions. The pricing of the test was estimated to me over the phone ahead of time and I am very happy with their prices. I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Plattsmouth Animal Hospital. Thank you!

We have lived in Plattsmouth for 11 years. We have used them since we moved here and they are excellent. We have used three to four different vets there, they are all good but Dr. Robin's heart really stands out for her love of these animals. We had a black lab who lived up until he was 15 and we had to put him down. We now have a rat terrier who is about 12. He can be nippy and hard to deal with but they are so good to him. I bring him on Saturdays, which the front desk girl is so awesome at her job. They make it so easy to pay using care credit if it's more than you were expecting. It's worth the money because you get the best care. This week my dog had a tooth problem. They got him right in and took the best care of him, extracted the teeth bothering him and gave him some antibiotics and pain medication. Thank you guys!

My spouse dealt with them. She really likes them, and the prices are reasonable. It's just that she said the doctor seemed harried today. I think he was probably dealing with a lot of patients at the end of the day. Otherwise, we'd recommend them. Dr. Ernest is our doctor.

I highly recommend this clinic. I have always received great care for my three dogs. The prices are SO reasonable and Dr. Plucker is the best. She does a great job of explaining things and coming up with a care plan.I recently moved and had to switch vets and have not been impressed - to the point that I road tripped back with one of my dogs to get some dental work done.
