This veterinarian should not have a license to practice she is a known animal abuser and neglector. Please use caution if you chose to use Jennafer Gleasemann. She should be ashamed for all she has done! She’s a horrible human.

*Experience was at the Blue Valley Vet location but all services were provided by Dr. GlaesemannWhile I thought I was getting great care for the rescue that I run and getting decent pricing for alters, I quickly realized you get what you pay for. It is honorable that we could take up to 30 cats in over a 3 day period as we had to travel. However, I have reason to believe that our cats were kept in their travel carriers for the entirety of those 3 days. The last time we used them we got our cats back covered in urine and feces, starving and thirsty. Not the greatest to be laying in filth with fresh surgery sites.One of the trips we later found out that a male didn't get neutered while there, he got missed. One of our females had an umbilical hernia that was missed and didn't get removed at her surgery. I was told that it would "go away" and when the cat was on its back they no longer saw the hernia. Well duh, gravity.The building smells horrible and I know its hard to keep some smells down in a clinic, but this was not even possible breathe. As a veterinary professional myself for over 20 years I am appalled that Dr. G still has a license. All of this is just laziness. I am embarrassed for the veterinary community that we are a part of this horrible type of practice.Bottom line if you want something cheap and below standard she will get the job done. If you care how your animal is treated I would highly recommend seeking elsewhere.After the animal cruelty charges she needs to lose her license to practice medicine. Unfortunately our laws in Nebraska aren't very strong when it comes to animal cruelty cases. I know it is hard to prove but come on Nebraska, do better. Dr. Glaesemann do better.

Always know my animals are in good hands! Amy always welcomes us in and helps our animals feel as comfortable as possible, such a lovely lady! Even when we moved nearly an hour away we still make the trip down because no matter the question or the problem Doc has always done such an amazing job for our whole herd of babies 💕

It was filthy! I took my cat for a spay & other things and ended up walking right back out with my cat. I'll take her elsewhere! I even drove over an hour to get there. Just turned right around and drove over an hour back home. All I could think was that my cat would end up with an infection. The overwhelming stinch of pure cat urine and/or spray hit me like a ton of bricks as soon as I stepped inside. Every chair (there were 3) was torn, worn through, and hairy. Junk just all over and not even organized. The big stack of papers on the counter had dried cat puke on them. The floors were dirty, and when I looked just inside the doorway to the back, there was piled up dirty-looking stuff. Just stuff. Trash and I don't even know what, but it looked almost like a hoarding situation. Plus, they had 4 clinic cats on the counter and desk, which would've been fine if one of them wasn't repeatedly attacking all of the others. The lady did nothing to stop it, and there was someone's cat in a carrier on the floor, probably super stressed because it was just hissing for no apparent reason. NOPE.

Save your self from a nightmare and avoid this place at all costs. All you have to do is a quick Google search of “Jennafer Glaesemann” to know your pet may end up starved or dead. Cleanliness here is also not a strong suit. Yikes!

This lady that calls herself a Veterinarian (Jennafer Glaesemann) is a monster. Just Google her name & you will quickly learn just what kind of sociopath she is. Only a monster would let animals in her care starve to death and neglect them. She is clearly ill. To make matters worse, now we learn that she has profited off the sale of the horses she abused and neglected and that at least two of them are back at her moms house in Jefferson County along with other horses that look to be starving to death. This woman needs to be in prison or tied up to something & starved very slowly. I can not fathom ever taking my pets to her.

Great vet, kind staff and excellent care for our fur baby is why we will bring Oakley back again and again. Oakley was spayed yesterday at Pickerell and their kind hands did an incredible job with keeping her comfortable during and after surgery. Their communication for at home care was exactly what I needed to feel comfortable bringing her home. Their passion is truly animals and it shows!

I would give this place zero stars if i could. I took five cats in to be neutered. They 'lost' one of my cats. He somehow escaped and got outside and they never saw him again. Ridiculous. Of the four cats that I took home after being neutered, two of them had complications. I tried calling, texting and emailing the clinic for days. ZERO responses. This place is an absolute joke. I will never take another one of my animals there and I suggest the same to everyone else.

Just trying to call for an appointment and the number claims all circuits are busy, the phone number has been disconnected, or no one answers. And this is trying to call 8 times in 1 hour. My pets are patients here and granted I need to take them in for updated shots and check ups, but how can i do that if they won't answer the phone!

I almost missed the entrance because it was hidden. There were flies all over inside of the office. The place didn't seem very clean. Also, found out afterwards that vet is being investigated for the death of 18 horses.

I appreciate that this clinic offers affordable neutering but I did not expect them to completely butcher the stitching. I tried to call and text the office and never heard back. I also did not receive a single call while he was there to update me on how he was doing. My dog has a knot on his suture spot and I tried contacting the office again about it but still never got a reply so I resorted to a few of my colleagues as I work with dogs and they said that the sutures were a hack job. I will not be returning to this clinic and I’m highly disappointed and upset with the outcome of this especially since I was told he was the only dog getting surgery that day. Now I’m just worried because I hope he was actually neutered instead of just opened up and stitched poorly back together.

I took all 3 of my large breed dogs in at one time because I live over 40 minutes from their office. Pickrell Veterinary Clinic was great and so helpful with me getting them in and out of their office. The front office lady was amazing with my dogs, patient, caring and understanding. (Sorry I can't remember her name) I gave 4 stars because I felt like the Vet could have taken more time with me explaining treatments, medication and diagnosis before she left the room. It took her a few minutes in the room and a few shots and she walked out. I had questions and comments that I was unable to say before she left.

Very happy with the care my dog and cat received . Office staff was very friendly and informative. Both have fully recovered from a spay and declaw. Prices are fair. All vets I called inLincoln were either not friendly or extremely expensive. I would recommend Pickrell Vet. to anyone looking for a reasonably priced and nice place to go.

Went there for the first time today. My kitty got out and got hurt on his face. They checked him gave him treats to make him a happy baby. Listened to what we had to say unlike the vets in lincoln. Now he is home and he's happy. I'm fine being scared and nervous. Next week he gets neutered and I didn't get charged an arm and a leg. It was really an easy moment even if I was more nervous then my storm.

I had my cat spayed here for around $60 with pain meds and an e collar. This was astronomically better than Lincoln vets who were asked anywhere from $175 to $275. The receptionist was friendly and the whole thing was a pleasant experience. I will be returning for all vaccines and other animal care things!

Love the doc and staff! They've taken excellent care of our dogs. Especially our blue heeler, Penny, who got into everything as a pup, we almost lost her. But the level of care she received from the doc and great staff at the Blue Valley location was keeping in saving my sweet girl! We won't go anywhere else!!!

I was referred to this clinic by a friend who, like the other review writers, has had good experiences with the vet. When I called to see about taking my dog to the clinic, the woman with whom I spoke wasn't rude. She just didn't seem interested in working with me. She told me the vet had a full slate of customers, but she took my information and said she'd talk to the vet and call me back. She never called back. I think it's great that the clinic has plenty of customers, but I saw her lack of follow-up as a red flag and took my dog elsewhere. My advice is to shop around as there are plenty of vets.

Dirty and the assistant to the vet let my 10 week old cavapoo fall off the examination table on to a concrete floor. I will not be back.After response from the owner:I understand that she was a high schooler. I also understand that it could be my responsibility to hold the pet. But this wasn’t what happened. From the time the dog was weighed by your lady at the front desk. I never had my dog. The high school student removed the dog from the scale and carried it into the vet examining room and placed the dog on the table. My dog was never handed to me nor was I told to hold my dog. (She was behind the front desk with your employees) Trust me I would have been more than happy to hold my dog. It made me nervous having everyone else holding it. So please don’t tell me after the fact it is my responsibility. Tell the lady at the front desk and the high schooler not to hold the customers animals. That might be a better approach to regain customers.
