I am always hesitant to try new barbecue as I’m very picky, but when we saw the heat and serve option, we tried it for our daughter’s confirmation lunch. The pulled pork and brisket were amazing with just the right amount of smoke and flavor. We will definitely consider this for another event!!!

Not sure we got all our meat. The percentage of weight from hanging to take home is way low. Tops of t bones were cutoff. Meat was so packed in trays packages tore getting hamburger out. Only one person working when we went to pickup and she wasn't very friendly. Definitely won't get anything from here again. It's under my girlfriend's name. It was paid by me so if you check your receipts you will see my name. I have been calling and you seem to not like to return calls. Talking with person who brought in cow this doesn't surprise me we are having issues with you. Please see the picture of the nastiest looking T-Bone I have ever seen. The best B.S. reason for the way the way it looks is meat was damaged.

My husband and I have dine business with the Pickrell Locker and Smokehouse for many years. So easy to place you order, so easy to pay your bill and pickup your order.So very kind and professional. We like this place of business a lot. Thank you to our friend Kim who we purchase our cow from and the business he is comfortable enough to take his cattle to be butchered.

We've used Pickrell Locker to process our beef the past few years now. We've always been pleased by their work and the processing selections offered. We really like how they do the 1lb burger meat. Vacuum sealed and thin packaging so that it stacks well in the freezer which also allows it to thaw quicker.

They should have taken more time in explaining the cuts & sizes of packaging. We're not accustomed to all the types of meat we could have had & they didn't give us all those options. When we said two to a pkg, I didntvrealize how big they cut them. We can make 2-3 meals from their "2 to a pkg". Very disappointed in their service. Still think we didn't get all of our meat. Would never go to them again!

Only giving this place two stars, 1 for excellent packaging and 2 for a butcher that came out Blake, and talked to me after a front end person supposedly the manager broke down in tears,, because I had a dispute with the price. I was told something else prior to ordering and was shocked the price to butcher was more than the hogs. I had basic cuts no cured meats and ground meat once and quartered primal rears. Unless they call me back and talk about what happened my review will be 2 stars for lack of communication, poor customer service, and rudeness of their personnel managing the front. Let's hope they get back to me I will update if they do. But as it stands this place is just not going to receive my business or referrals.

We had a whole cow and a quarter butchered there. First the cuts were awful. We asked for one thing which was specific cuts and didn't get that. The brisket was cut in half if not more and used either as burger or just didn't get it all. Packaging had air in quite a bit of them. Everyone we had talked to had an attitude. Especially the lady who took orders. Poor quality packaging and poor quality attitude makes for bad review.

The beef is fine, BUT when I picked up my half, I got zero help getting it out to my vehicle. Three employees stood there. Talking about their weekend plans. Completely ignoring my need for just a teeny bit of assistance. Couldn’t even hold the door open for me. With other credible options in the area. I’ll process somewhere else in the future.

Absolute worst butcher ive ever had the misfortune of going thru, first they argued with the cuts of beef i wanted or the thickness i wanted, they did not give me the cuts and thickness i wanted. The packaging was awfull some packs had air left in them. They destroyed the beef heart before packaging, the brisket was either half used as burger or they kept half. Over all i wish i could give negative 5 stars

Just picked up my order, spent over 200.00 and realized I didn't get my pork cutlets. I called and was told the machine was broke so we gave you the steaks instead. " You can tenderize them yourself!".
