Fantastic place to shop at. They have great selection and friendly workers. Their fuel incentive rewards are worth enrollment. The only ding I give is in the bakery department due to being mid quality. Here's a funny photo from a previous display they used.

Everytime I go by the deli counter later on in the evening just just can't stand to see people biting their fingers or hacking and coughing when they are supposed to be touching my food. I've started going to other stores for deli items. I hope they train their staff on cleanliness and proper customer facing manners.

I got Sushi at the Shadow Lake store. The woman working in that area was so kind and gave me all the information I needed. I am so sorry I did not get her name, but it was right about 12:30. The Sushi was great also. I was attending a meeting upstairs, and we hope to use that room often.

The staff is very friendly, helpful and professional. The store itself is very clean. I do like how they have a separate alcohol section, complete with its own entrance as if it were a liquor store. The prices tend to be more than other grocery stores in the area. My big reason for taking off 2 stars is due to the produce. While some produce was very fresh, other produce was pretty iffy. I'd expect premium produce when I'm getting charged premium prices.

Prices are high, we tried to sign up for the rewards program, no one at booth so we shopped and asked the cashier about it she helped although she was grumpy about it. The bagger verbally complained about it. We tried the bakery bread and it was 2.49 for a very small loaf it had no flavor.

Several bad experiences today around 4 p.m. Drive thru perscription window open but not open. No sign that it was closed and a person standing there. Rudely told too bad; come inside. Stand in line, get perscription, and fuel saver card scanned to get "special" discount. Notice as I walk out the discount is not on receipt so I returned to customer service to inquire as to why. The heavily pierced girl there tells me she knows nothing about pharmacy policies so I'm forced back in line at the pharmacy. There I'm told "Oh yea, it will show up in a few days; maybe hours even". Incompetence all around. I'll be doing less business there.

I was there tried to find some unique ingredients like Nora's vegetable dip. Mix for spinach, dip and did not know my way around. And many items were missing and the staff was awesome and helped me try and locate items.

Hy-Vee has fair priced food with great customer service personnel. I am thankful they have individuals working as cashiers, but unfortunately they are trying to follow in the trend of self-check service. (If they get rid of the people as cashiers, they will lose me and probably thousands of others as customers.)

If your going to be picking up some meat for dinner one night I would hands down recommend the green onion sausage. They have quite a few options with different flavors. I’ve tried pretty much them all and the green onion one is the best in my opinion. Definitely give it a try.

Hyvee is a great advertiser for Walmart. Everytime I shop at Hyvee, I get to a point where I they are out of stock on at least 3 items I need. So I ask myself, "Why am I shopping at a store that can't keep their shelves stocked at 6am?" Then I abandon the two items I was actually able to find, then I head over to Walmart and purchase ALL of the items on my list.

When I first discovered Hy-Vee (not from the Midwest originally), I fell in love immediately! It has everything I could possibly want or need. The fuel-savers reward program is a great bonus too! In the long run, I've saved a lot of money shopping here.

On Jan 19, 2024, got takeout at the Chinese Express, and it was the worst food I've had from them. The General's Chicken was a flavorless mass of soggy, breaded chicken. The Mongolian Beef had a huge piece of gristle, making up at least a third of an absurdly small portion. The fried rice can only be generously considered such. There was little flavor to it, other than that of rice. Very little soy, no fish sauce, no vegetables, and barely any egg.The quality of the food at China Express appears to be steadily declining. Don't waste your money on it.

Pharmacy techs get kind of defensive about checking good Rx codes. The assure you that they did write it down and factored it into the price of the prescription. I went to pick medicine up for my daughter after having to make a second trip to the store and call while at the parking lot. I gave the tech the code for her medicine (ovwr the phone) only to not have it on there when I went to pay for it. I know it's only a few dollars and I didn't want to make a big deal of it there. My question is, how many people get their meds filled out there and deal with this and/or get overcharged. Another things that kind of upset me was when I told the person at the window that I had given the code to someone and their response was "I couldn't tell you who you spoke with" so I just paid and left.

Great variety. I like the fact that I can walk in and buy a pre-made meal from the kitchen or buy a hot meal and get out pretty fast. I wished they had healthier pre-made meals. Meals whith clean ingredients and low carb fare as well. The health food section is pretty nice as well.

We were shopping as a family today around 2 or 3 pm. We went back by the deli area and Mr. Mike was handing out samples. He was such a kind person. Hooked my son up with some meat and crackers, helped my wife find some dip she was looking for, and chatted husker football with Me for a while. When I say he helped her look, he took her to the places he thought it would be, not just tell us an aisle number or location. Super nice, very friendly, even shook my hand and wished us all a happy thanksgiving. It’s people like this that the world needs more of. Shout out to Mr. Mike, you made our whole trip!!!

One of the nicer Hy-Vee stores in the Omaha area. Very friendly staff and very well organized store. Close to some excellent shops in shadow lake shopping center and there is an excellent CHI quick care in this facility as well that is open daily.

Waited far too long to pick up a prescription. Eight people in line, five people working behind the counter with not a single person even greeting us. They're all behind the counter stuffing their gobs with cinnamon rolls. What a joke of an institution. I'll take my business up the street at Walgreens from here on.Goodbye Hy-Vee

You're going to spend a bit more than at a Walmart. Unlike Walmart, they appreciate and respect your time. No 20 mins in check out lines etc. Great deli, restaurant, and fresh produce.

Huge variety of all types of groceries. Their meat and seafood is always incredible. They have the best wine, beer, and spirits selection outside of large specialty stores. The only issue I've had is the quality and shelf life of their produce is below other stores in town.

I got generic Sudafed decongestant 12 hour 10 count at Hyvee pharmacy for almost $12. I got generic 12 hour Sudafed generic at Bakers 20 count $6.99. Need I say more
