Good experience at the thunderhead.The vibe is decent with a large outdoor patio.Only one person was working serving 20 people but he was doing a good job.We got a flight. Pricing was very good for it. It was hot and before my trip back home, I need a cold one. There wasn’t a crowd, but it was early. I wasn’t sure what to have but trusted the staff with their suggestions. I wish I should’ve saved the name because my beer was perfect and crisp. It was one of the locals, of course. But perfect. Great staff and great atmosphere.

We had a bridal shower today at Thunderhead in Downtown Omaha and it couldn't have been more perfect! They were so laid back and easy to work with. Everyone was beyond nice and willing to answer questions/help out. The place was clean and just perfect for what we were looking for! I highly recommend this place and location to anyone!

Thunderhead Brewing is known to produce the quality product. The facility here is clean. Staff is very helpful and polite. They have outdoor seating. Plus they have a selection of other liquor and alcohol if beer isn't your thing.Still good. Pizza is great comfort food.

Would not recommend this place. Stopped in celebrating a birthday on December 30th around 8:30pm. The bartender who served us had said he was a manager of some kind but he couldn’t care less that we were there. A water cup was knocked over and that seemed to be the final straw for him. We offered to mop it up but he insisted he would and mumbled how last call is 9:45 but they cut people off at 9.

Holy selections Batman! I walked in not knowing what to expect and wow, they have quite the inventory. Even better, when I brought my bottle up to purchase the employee recommended a gift set that had my bottle plus some sample minis for the same price. Really appreciated the service!

A cozy version of the West location. It’s a great atmosphere with a great selection. The staff is knowledgeable and the bar prices are amazing - a pour of Eagle Rare 17 for $20. Count me in!

Wine Beer and Spirits is a great place to drop in for a drink or or to shop for bottles of wine, whiskey, etc. They often have hard to find and unique whiskeys and they also hold 'Whiskey Wednesdays' where you can try different samples of whiskey for a small fee. It's a great place to find gifts for friends/loved ones - or for yourself!

Came here last week in the late afternoon on a weekday and wasn’t really impressed. They had a nice selection of beers both their own and collab brews. However the bartender couldn’t tell me what the signature beers were. He wasn’t friendly or helpful and seemed to care more about the Sunday night football game on rerun than about helping me, the only other person in the restaurant.The beers were just Ok. The patio, although big and fairly empty, was intermittently very loud with the big AC unit there turning on and off. Also the sun hit me directly and I couldn’t stay that long, not that I wanted to.This review is a daytime visit so keep that in mind. Would try again but for a night visit though not my first option.

It’s a shame they didn’t really sell any shirts with their logo on it because it’s pretty slick. The beer list here is wildly long and the knowledgeable bar staff can help you navigate it effectively. The Thunderhead beers I had weren’t amazing but most definitely solid.

We ate then found this brewery to drink the afternoon away. Gabby (Gabbie) was our bartender that day, and she was awesome!!! She was super friendly and gave great advice for drinks to try. We loved the vibe from this location and are thinking about having my husband’s retirement party here in a few months. I loved the room off to the side that would be great for a small party as well. The stout and cider I chose tasted amazing. I can’t wait to go back!

Customer service was great here, the two gents working were real nice and kept checking to see if I needed help. Decent selection of bourbon but the pricing is definitely high, do yourself a favor and go to their oak view location and you can find some barrel picks of certain whiskeys that are sub $20 of the standard offering at the downtown location plus they just have way way more. You’re definitely paying for their downtown rent here.

They had a single employee manning both the register and the bar on a Friday night. Wanted to try a store pick that was clearly on display for tasting with half the bottle remaining, was told they don't have it available for tasting. Lincoln and West O locations are far better than this dump.

Thunderhead Brewing Downtown Omaha is a very fun place to get drinks, hang out and meet new people in the area. I was on a business trip and had not been to Omaha before, but I found some brewing companies on my phone so I walked around to a few of them when I had the time to visit them. This place had a large variety of beers, light and dark with all different flavors and names, which was very cool to see all the different in a small area. I talked with the bartender when I first got in there and he was telling me about the beer and how they taste depending on what kind of beer I liked. He also told me about trivia night and bbq that was going on that night starting at 6 pm. Trivia started at 7 pm and he said since I did not know people to ask a team if I could join them and just sit with them and learn the area a little bit. I also talked with a patron in the brewery and she informed me of the more fun thing for young people to do in the city. I tried a light pilsner first, which had good flavor for a beer on the more light side. Then I tasted a darker coffee flavored beer, which tasted just like coffee, it was really good! The trivia night was a lot of fun as well, it started right at 7 pm and went until about 9 pm, which about 40 questions that were asked. I sat with a team that let me play on their team and we had a lot of fun playing trivia and drinking. Highly recommend for trivia night if that's your thing, otherwise any day when you want to drink beer and try a new place, this place is a lot of fun!!

Smaller liquor store with an ok selection of different sorts of alcohol. Nothing hard to find in this store though. Beer selection was small and meager, go to their other locations if you want a good selection. Felt more like a place to order a drink to sit down and enjoy with friends more than anything. They have beer on tap and other drinks you can order to enjoy while you're there.

Seltzer’s served over ice is stupid. Serve your seltzers the same way 100s of breweries across the country do; without ice. This watered-down seltzer was the worse one we had in Omaha.

It’s very surprising by this place has 4.7 stars. The beers are awful. It was evident some were fermented with the oft-putting taste that only happens from fermenting at incorrect temps. The space was cute. It’s rare I don’t finish a beer but this place got me to bend that rule. If you like ambiance and don’t have a refined palate, enjoy. If not, save your money.

Honestly love this place. Has always one of my favorite spots. Such good beer and a great vibe. But I have no intention of coming back until I get vaccinated. Bartender tonight kept removing his mask while talking to customers and pouring drinks, I had to actually tell him to wear it while I was ordering. And he was fine allowing people without masks to come in and order. I understand he shouldn't have to enforce that because it sucks but he certainly didn't have to serve people who came in without masks. I'll be back as soon as I'm vaccinated.

Living in downtown it can be hard to find craft beers, ciders, and specialty whiskeys. This store has everything and more! Great selection and wonderful staff.
