Love the gluten-free bakery items! Good place to pick up baked goods and deserts! 1-28-24 we had breakfast in their Terrace room. They have a gluten-free menu, which I had grandma's scrambler, comes with gf toast & fruit, but I didn't get it in time for my picture š¤Ŗ. My husband got the crab/lobster Benedict. Coffee was good! Server was nice but working short staffed with alot of tables. Manager, Ron, is very nice & took extra care of us. I recommend you try Wheatfields as they have specials all the time that go with the seasons. At the time we ate there was apricot time! šDietary restrictions: Gluten-free menu

My brother bought a gf cake for my birthday. $50 for a cake with moldy strawberries in the filling. My kids mentioned it tasted weird. I looked at mine and found black strawberries. My sonās slice had furry fruit in it. When my brother tried to return the more than half uneaten cake they offered him a gift card. No thanks. Looking through reviews, Iām seeing other customers who have been given moldy food. Why would we want credit for a restaurant whose standards are that low?

The food was delicious and reasonably priced (most entrees are $10-15). Our waitress was friendly. The atmosphere is very nice and relaxed. We went on a weekday, which I would recommend.Parking: Minimal parking directly in front of Wheatfields, but a large free parking lot is adjacent.

WheatFields was one of several restaurants recommended to me before we traveled to Omaha. We ordered take out breakfast two mornings in a row. The first day I ordered the Mini Roll Sampler and my husband ordered the Dad's Biscuits and Gravy. The second day I ordered the Raspberries and Creme French Crepes. I also purchased a slice of Strawberry Wedding Cake. Everything we ordered looked appealing and appetizing. The servings were generous. Everything was absolutely delicious and I can't wait to go back. There were so many bakery options to choose from it's a miracle I only left with one slice of cake!!

Absolutely delicious brunch foods for a wide range/generation of people! From 26y-82y olds we were all happy with our orders! Strawberry crepes were the biggest hit (the plate went around the table for everyone to take a taste), veggie delight (omelette with spinach, asparagus, onions and cheese were fresh and delish! Avocado toast was with very fresh greens, on delicious bread and large portions. MUST try the sweet roll sampler (great to get everyone talking and sharing together). šÆ on our Omaha favorites!

I ordered French toast for take out. The French toast was $15! Ihop has better French toast. These were thin little slices & the syrup has a wierd taste. I will not be coming back. The prices here are insane. For $15 I should be full and it should include eggs and bacon at the very least. The gal taking the order should've told me the cost. I almost said forget it when I arrived & now I wish I would have.

Bakery is DELISH!Restaurant: Loud! Extremely loud, packed and little room to move around in both the restaurant and waiting in the bakery.Chose to go for lunch the day before Motherās Day, expecting to find their full menu and instead received a holiday version. Apparently after Easter they will always have the holiday menu which does not all for any substitutions or changes. The food choices were okay, but donāt bring kids as they may not enjoy the selection. The server was nice but frazzled. Took a while to get anything asked for, including the check.Food is good. A bit overpriced on many of the selections. The chicken selection and mashed potatoes was piping hot, a sweet flavorāGOOD! Coleslaw not so...had a horrible after taste. My partners plate looked unappealing, but he said was really good.Overall a good experience, will return on a non-holiday weekend and will continue ordering from the bakery for sweet treats.

I have been to wheatfields many times and for some reason this time my experience wasnāt great. The coffee was very watery. When I asked can he brew a new pot - he said āno the owner likes it this way and there will be no change in coffeeā (in my head I was like āis the owner having this coffee/meal or paying for this? š)The server will say no to everything and was not even welcoming. We ordered lobster cake and veggie omelette and Benedict was partially cooked and presentation was not great. The omelette ordered was partially cooked. Bad presentation. It really felt like the food and coffee were pre made and server would not make an attempt to either make it right or help with the order. With the money spent it didnāt felt like a restaurant experience and I am disappointed to say that I wonāt be coming back and it is sad that I used to love this place but the quality and service is very opposite now to what it used to be. :(Not a brunch or breakfast place where coffee is watery!

Food was disgusting ! We tried to send it back, but they would only take off one meal, not both.We also tried to buy the half price items on Monday. . I picked up a slice of cake that should have been half price. Lady at register charged me full price. She kept telling us only desserts were half price . I tried to buy cinnamon rolls at half price, she said only desserts were half price. Isn't cinnamon rolls and pecan pies desserts??Nasty place. I'm from Missouri and will not go in the store again. Not that they care, but I do.

It had been awhile since the previous bad experience, so I decided to give them another chance. But, who puts corn, much less green peas (gag), in chicken noodle soup?! That should be labeled chicken and vegetables soup so people know it's definitely not as expected, or remotely the norm. For us, it absolutely wasn't edible with the addition of the peas. Plus the chocolate cake, including the frosting, wad dust dry. Severely disappointed.

Went in to ask about the wait, host asked if we were a complete party and we said yes. She told us 5 minutes so we stepped out of the way next to another party waiting. They sat the other party and a large line grew. After another few minutes she asked if we were waiting for anyone else and we said no again so she sent us to the back of the line. She did not clarify that we needed to stay in line when we first arrived we thought we needed to get out of the way next to another group waiting. Waited an extra 15 minutes. If that's how you are going to do a wait make it clear. You would think they would encourage people to wander around to check out the bakery goods while waiting.

Very unprofessional and unacceptable. I ordered a cake a week before and on the date of delivery I got to know there is no cake for which I already paid and it was the day of birthday. Donāt ever order a cake from here. No one will care for once you pay for the order. All washed their hands. Better find any other baker.Wish I could give negative stars

Heard great things about the strawberry wedding cake. 4 stars for me. It was very good. The interior is beautiful with a great looking assortment of baked goods.I really need to try more items from this bakery.Service was friendly and polite. It's conveniently located near the trader Joe's.Parking is available in a large lot shared with others. This restaurant is a little off to the side. We had a little difficulty finding it, but Google maps helped direct us further into the corner.

Been getting gluten free cinnamon rolls for years here. We tried calling ahead and were told they donāt do call ahead pre-orders. They had lots of gluten free rolls for customers for call ahead orders behind the counter, but no gluten free rolls out to buy. We asked if they had any gluten free rolls to buy because we were the second group to come in for the day and they may not have been setup yet. The lady at the front said everything we have is out. We asked if we could just put an order on hold for us and they told us that is not how things work.Changed review to 2 stars. We went back about 90 minutes later in the off chance they made some more rolls and they had dozens of gluten free cinnamon rolls ready. The person working could have just said they are in the oven instead of we might have some at 9 or 10 or 11.

absolutely horrible experience. We ordered a cake for my moms bday 2-3 days in advance. We noticed the hand writing was very messy, ok whatever. Then we took it out of the box and it was completely lop sided. We sent wheat fields a private message as we didnāt want to leave a review if theyād just make it right. They asked us for more details then never responded. So my mom went there in person. They had no management and my mom had to wait for the manager to drive there. They accused my mom of dropping the cake because of the finger print. The finger print was clearly an accident (not even done by my mom) and NOBODY dropped the cake. Let me make this clear: my mom didnāt pick up the cake from wheatfields NOR did she take the cake out of the box. Shame on you for accusing and treating my mom like this. She only showed them 1 photo so Iāll attach photos of the other sides so you can CLEARLY see nobody dropped it the cake it was just sloppily and carelessly made. On the shorter side there was a ton of frosting in the middle so they clearly knew and tried to even it out. Never got an apology, refund, nothing. Instead they dragged it out way more than it needs to be. It says A LOT about an owner by how they treat their customers. Seriously, how hard is it to just apologize?? I think the loser manager must have a huge ego, you know take this a lesson people will respect you more if you admit when youāre wrong. After looking up the company more they had a class action law suit involving 40 ex employees not being paid by the scum owner, and had 10 citations for violating mask mandates. Had I known this I wouldnāt waste my time here because now we clearly see how this trash š does business.

Wheat fields has always been a favorite dining place for us. I know lately there has been a lot of controversy about the owner and his professionalism. Personally I have never met him, but this rating is solely based on food. Before COVID the menu was bible size and you could spend forever trying to decide on a meal. Now it has seriously condensed and while there are still a lot of great options, I strongly wish they would bring back the open faced hot turkey. For restaurant mashed potatoes they are my favorite! The cinnamon rolls of the size of a small dinner plate and piled high with a mountain of frosting. Also save room for dessert. Most delicious strawberry wedding cake and plenty of other dessert options to list! The atmosphere only gets three stars because it's usually always busy and it's hard to hear conversations at your table.

Avocado toast was amazing! I've never had it before and it did not disappoint! The salsa on the side I could do without- way too garlicky. My husband had Dad's Biscuits and Gravy. So good!Parking: Parking is horrible!

Pretty sure someone sold their soul to make these cinnamon buns taste so good. I expected the āfrostingā to be very sweet as there is a lot. It was the creamiest thing I have had. Consistency like cream cheese frosting but smooth like whipped cream.Avocado toast was so tasty.

Gluten free options from the bakery are way more extensive than in the past. Gluten free chocolate cake was amazing. I recommend you keep it refrigerated. Gluten free peanut butter cookie was mid-range, but the gluten free sticky roll was great.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free

We both had the Oatmeal with everything.. Soooo good.. My daughter & I split the 5 roll mini sampler... Service was good & they have a bakery too.. They even had Irish Cream imported from Ireland... Probably should have bought some. Would have made a nice after dinner coffee addition.... šš

I loved the Christmas spirit and different dessert decorations!! So cute and festive!!Iām only giving a 4 because I was expecting the cookies to be soft and chewy as the staff told me but they were a little dry and crunchy. ): still good but just not as expected. I am more of a soft cookie fan and not so much with crunchy cookies. The rolls were good!! Not dry and tasty! Good the syrup is the best part for the rolls.

If i wanted a can of french onion soup i would have went to walmart and bought one and heated it up my self and saved 11 dollars. I canāt believe how my soup came out. It was nothing near classic style. I remember when this place was good but it has incredibly gonedown hill. The menus were paper gross sticky and stained with grease (who wants to touch that) also it took close to 30 min to get our food and there was no wait when seated. Service was good canāt really complain about that.
