I brought Harper my Havanese to the Paw Spa for her first grooming. Alicia did a wonderful job cutting Harper just how I wanted. I was pleased with the price and the time the appointment took. 1.5 hours for her grooming. I was nervous about leaving Harper somewhere for the first time. When I picked her up I could tell she was having a good time with all the attention. We are looking forward to the next haircut!

i take my anxious shepherd here for daycare and the staff is so welcoming and always answers all questions i have for my dog. he is always greeted with love when i bring him in and i know he’s in the right hands while i work! i also bring him there for grooming every 2-3 weeks and he is just so excited to see the groomer everytime we go in!

I was 12 minutes late for my dog’s grooming appointment, and they refused to groom her. I explained to them that I was 12 min late because I was talking with a patient of mine with cancer they looked at me dumbfounded with a blank stare, and didn’t care. They still refused to groom her. Not compassionate people. This led to me having to take the dog back home and reschedule another cancer patient. I would not take your dog there. No empathy!Update!!!! I have to say I’m very impressed with how the business owners stepped up to provide a great experience. Shortly ay initial review I received a call from a very concerned owner who was genuinely very apologetic. She had a serious conversation with the employee that had turned me away and said that was inappropriate and offered many ways to get me taken care of. I said it was difficult to get away from my clinic to get Harlow back in. She made it happen! She went to my house picked up my pet, groomed her, and returned her to my house. Not often do you find a business owner that cares so much about their customer, their product and reputation enough to go above and beyond to prove what a quality operation they have. Thank you!

My dog loves coming here! The staff is really helpful and the front desk always greets my baby by his name without having to ask! You can tell the staff truly cares about the dogs that come there! Sam the GM is awesome! The back is also really clean!

My dog is always excited to go here for daycare. She practically pulls me through the doors she's so eager to go play with all her friends. She also doesn't get as dirty here as some other places we've taken her that have black rubber mat floors, which is a big plus for us.

The groomer at the Paw Spa does a wonderful job! What bothers me is the cheap and greedy owners who charge a 4% “convenience fee” for customers who pay by credit or debit card. I’m sorry but no one writes checks anymore and I don’t carry around wads of cash. In many states this practice is no longer legal and they get the amount of business they get because they do accept credit cards. It should be worthwhile for them to absorb the cost of processing credit cards like most businesses do. This is the reason why I use their groomer because she’s so good but I will never, ever board my dogs there.

I like that they are very considerate of my dog and put her in a smaller room so she’snot with so many dogs. I am disappointed I don’t get any kind of report on if she ate or how she got along. She seemed well and happy when I picked her up. The gal at the front desk was exceptionally kind and welcoming.

I LOVE the Paw Spa. My dog LOVES the Paw Spa. If I need daycare I call and arrange it or send an email. Theu get back to me immediately. If I decide to keep my pooch home for the day, no problem. The staff knows and loves my dog. And let's face it . . . There's no better judge of character than a dog. My dog loves the staff and that's the best endorsement anyone can get. I also use the Paw Spa when I go out of town and I never have to worry about how my dog is treated. It's always with love and affection and lots of playtime. ❤️

DO NOT SEND YOUR DOG HERE. We used this facility for our dog for the first time over the weekend. All that we were told when we picked him up was, “He did great!” with no explanation for any of these injuries or why he is limping. Needless to say, I will never go near here again and hope that others will avoid this facility as well.

I’ve been taking my dog here for daycare for 6 years now and it is the best! We love the owners and the employees like family! They care for our chocolate lab as if he were their own dog. Love the paw spa!

Love the paw spa! my springer spaniel comes for daycare and has the time of her life! The staff is always so welcoming and kind with her! I also take her here for grooming and the groomers just adore her so much and greet her with so much love!

Just giving an update on my dog!!!! I took Barry in about 2 years ago while me and my kids were on vacay. First of all they separated my dogs I had to call and tell them to go in the same yard. When my parents picked up my dog Barry is a Rough Collie with long flowy black fur…..they shaved him 😠 After 2 yrs my babies fur is finally almost where it used to be!!! Shame on them!!!!! Funny story my first review never got a comment or even an apology from them. I even called and emailed with no reply!!!!! And they still charged me full price for a shave that was never asked for!!!!! There is a new dog place right across the river I’ll never go to paw spa again!!!!!

We’ve now gone to the Paw Spa twice with our puppy. She’s a very well behaved, quiet, lazy puppy. The first time we took her in was for a puppy trim/cut where they hardly did anything. The issue was that we dropped her off at 1 PM, only had an appt for an hour, and didn’t know she was ready to be picked up until 7 PM. They said she had been ready but they never called us. Our dog hated being there and didn’t act the same for several days after the appt.Then, we scheduled a follow up cut for 3 months out to get on their schedule. When I took her in for that follow up, the lady said they wouldn’t have enough time to give her a haircut but we’d still be charged full price. Then she accused us of not prepping enough because their system said “puppy cut” when we called and told them her current size. Lastly, the gal told my wife that our dog was biting at her last time so she doesn’t think it’ll be a smooth experience.I understand animals react different to new people, but if she was biting last time, why not say anything then? I don’t believe the lady was being truthful, and she was all-around awful to us. We will not be going back and will dissuade others from going.

I love this place! I board my dog here, no where else. They take wonderful care of my lab Cole! He gets to play with all the other pups and the employees play with him as well. Great outdoor spaces to play and climb. It’s very clean and the kennels are huge and very nice. The owner Sheila is fantastic! Thanks again Paw Spa for a superb experience!!!

We used to be regular stay customers of the Paw Spa, our pup has stayed there since 2018. However, during her most recent stay we paid for a nail grinding which resulted in a fracture of one of her nails. After that we had to go to the vet which costs hundreds of dollars, not to mention the stress it put on our dog. When bringing this to the attention of the paw spa, they displayed extremely poor customer service and essentially listened to nothing we had to say by talking over us the entire time. At one point saying, “we don’t pay for vet bills regardless of the situation” and giving us a lecture about how we need to take better care of our dog and this won’t happen. Even though, we have never experienced this in her 4+ years so it is not due to “not taking care of our dog”. The inability to care and plain lack of compassion the person on the phone showed, tells me no one that cares about their dog should allow this place to watch their pet. The only thing the paw spa attempted to provide was refunding us the $15 they charged us for grinding her nails incorrectly in the first place which is nothing compared to the black eye they continue to receive by providing such poor service to not only the dogs but inability to be accountable for actions of their staff. You can GUARANTEE we won’t be back and will make sure to spread the terrible experience we had with others considering where to board their dogs.

I only gave 2 stars because well yes this is a good place and they do well with grooming from what I know or thought. But when I bring in my 10 almost 11 year old mastiff and make it clear she has torn both ACL's and has bad joint pain. You should NEVER make her stand for a hour straight even when noticing she was shaking not scared.. hurt shaking. She looked petrified and hurt. Then once I am done with my appointment I go to get her in my car not a taller car at all and I had a struggle to get her in she dropped to the floor twice! Out of any times I have EVER taken her to get groomed she never reacted like this after! If you can't groom with a dog that can't stand you should practice some more cause not all dogs are older and can stand for long periods of time! That or give me the heads up my dogs gonna be in pain and whining the whole time! It has been a week and her legs hurt even trying to stand she has a hard time with stairs worse than before! Thanks so much for making her clean and smell good but f your groomer for causing more pain to my dog!

Boarded our two dogs over the weekend. Our dogs were very happy to see us. Had a little issue getting the items we dropped off with our dogs, but the owner was great in resolving the issue.I would board my dogs here again.

I took my dog here yesterday to be groomed by Crystal and she did an AMAZING job! My dog was nervous but I could tell she was more comfortable when I picked her up and her hair cut was so good! Best, cleanest cut she's ever had and I thought I was pretty happy with the previous groomer. But we will be sticking with Crystal from now on!

I've used this place 3 times thinking maybe it will be better (last time was last minute cancellation for doggie care so had to take her). Never again. The first time was years ago, the one on Blondo, which is now closed. Shortly after getting home, I noticed she wasn't eating. She tried, but wasn't able to grab the food. I thought she just didn't feel good. Next day, same thing. I looked in her mouth and noticed the skin on her tongue was pushed to the back of her mouth. Long story short, the vet said she either got into chemicals there or an electric cord. Over $1000 later they denied anything and said their chemicals are pet friendly. Never even apologized and ignored my requests for Manager call backs. Eventually I just gave up. 2nd time we took our other dog to the one on Harrison (a month ago). She was there a week. Her food was NOT touched. They must have fed her something else, not the food we brought. She had diaherra for3 days, on our carpet. We also, never once, saw her on the doggie cams and we looked OFTEN. Here we are 3 weeks later and took the same dog there for the weekend because we were in a bind. We got home and noticed a baggie of other food in our dog container we kept her food in, and again, our food untouched. I dont understand how a place like this is still in business. I know I can't be the only one "lucky" enough to have had every experience I've had with them horrible.

These people love dogs and treat them like family. We left another place to come here and never looked back. It's a 30 minute drive for us to get here and worth every minute. Our pup has a great time, we can say the word daycare and she gets super excited at home, and the front desk people are always so nice and happy to see her when we get there. We have had a couple communication snafus and emergency situations and they've been able to help us out and been understanding every time. The owner is great as well. We love it here and recommend it to everyone we know!

The first time we took our pup here for boarding and he came home with kennel cough we thought maybe his immune system just needed to adjust. However, the last 3 times we have brought him home, he has gotten sick, after speaking with our vet, it is not normal and have decided not to bring him back. Furthermore, I had a conversation with the front desk staff regarding a groom that cost us $80 + dollars for a special condition and they wanted to argue with me claiming I never paid $80 for a groom. Needless to say, I should have taken the bad reviews as gospel and I would not recommend taking your animals here.

They continue to not disclose additional fees like a new 4% charge for using a card. They have tried to say our dog weighs more than it does to increase fees. Then when I called, they say they’ll take it off the next appointment and never do.

Not sure where these people became dog behaviorists but they hand out colored cards depending on your dogs behavior when you go to pick them up. I was watching on the pet cam most of the day and saw 0 problems my dog was having. Then I get a call that he was too stressed to be groomed like I had asked and I’m told that he was starting fights with the other dogs. My dog doesn’t start fights, he just wants the other dogs to run with him. Somehow my dog left his daycare and grooming appointment dirtier than he went in. We will not be going back because they refuse to let dogs be dogs.

Absolutely love the staff at Paw Spa Resort! They take care of my 2 dogs like they're their own. Very friendly and professional, taking time to train staff, and the owners are fantastic! Our pups are never in a hurry to leave, they want to stay and visit their friends (the staff) on the way out. Thank you for giving us peace while we're at work, knowing they're taken care of so well.

Would not recommend to anyone. We have used them once prior without issue so we brought our dogs back. They said our dogs did great! On this second overnight stay they called us back stating they couldn’t get our dogs out of the kennel within minutes of dropping them off. We told them before even taking the dogs they are rescues who have been through abusive homes please no men or sudden movement. They called back the following day when they were scheduled to have a bath at 12. stating both dogs have become aggressive and we cannot give them a bath. Not likely considering one of them is afraid of her own shadow. But we live far away and had already left the area and told them it would be a bit before we can come back considering our drive is over an hour. When we got there they still charged us the late pick up fee even though they were originally anticipated to be picked up after 1 anyway due to the baths. The front desk lady said there was nothing she could do and her boss was gone for the week. Our dogs upon pickup received none of their treats that were supposed to be given with meds(necessary for life medication might I add).How do I know they actually got their meds considering they had so much “difficulty”getting them out of the kennel? I do not trust them and will not return. I worked with animals for almost 8 years and have never had these issues that have been claimed we always found a way to get the dog out of the kennel or give a bath without pain etc. it’s clear no time was taken to build trust with our dogs and were just trying to herd them outside quickly for some money. They don’t understand or are not properly trained to handle dog anxiety like their blog states. Forgot 1 more thing, it’s a $10 charge for us to not pay in cash at least tell us ahead of time.
