There was a super nice lady watering in the garden area who assisted us with picking some plants and appropriate potting. It was fun chatting with her and having such friendly help!

I know why this location always has the most power tools in stock. Because it takes an act of Congress to get the tool lockers opened. Asked help desk for someone to unlock tools for me. They called overhead. And I waited. 20 minutes. Had at least 9 employees walk by. Finally someone who had walked by 3 times already, asked if someone had helped me. I said no. They turned the corner and walked away.So I walked out.If this was an isolated incident, I can accept that. If they were busy, I can accept that. But the 3 times I have gone in to this store, the same thing happens. I am done with this location.I wish Lowe's sold red tools.

APPLIANCE DEPT. Called in Saturday after being shooed away from Lowe’s saying the don’t deliver to West Point (lie). We spoke with a guy who said he wasn’t sure and would call us back.I decided to go in while I waited for the call back and ended up speaking with such a helpful and kind older gentleman. He really was wonderful. I asked him if they would deliver to West Point. He got up, grabbed the barcode off of an appliance and asked our zip code and assured us that they did in-fact deliver.While speaking to him, the man we were on the phone came up to a blonde woman also at the appliance area, at the desk right behind where the gentleman’s was. He asked her if they would deliver out to West Point and she immediately said “NO. THIRTY MILES”. I was trying to get his attention as he was less than 10ft from me to tell him…it was me that called and lady…YES YOU DO. He walked away and called me back 5 minutes later and told him..”I heard you speaking with the woman, I was right there and she told you wrong. Thanks for your time though”.Idk why all of these improvement stores are shooing people away. If it’s out of laziness or lack of knowledge and communication, but it was very frustrating.1. That older gentleman with the one dilated pupil and the shiny silver watch needs a raise and some serious appreciation. He went out of his way to help us. Being older, he actually got his rear end up out of that seat, while the younger ones just sat there looking down.2. USE THIS MAN AS A MODEL OF WHAT YOUR EMPLOYEES SHOULD BE LIKE AND TRAIN THEM AS SUCH3. Get everyone on the same page. I should not be told conflicting information, nor should any other shopper getting ready to spend a serious amount of money at your establishment.4. Have your appliance employees run the model online and to the zip code. SHOPPERS- if you go somewhere like Lowe’s or HDepot…if they tell you they don’t deliver…get online and punch your zip in. Bet they do. SHOW THEM.

Really poor stock management. You check for a part online then find out the store has none in physical stock. The employees are everywhere doing something. Mostly just blocking up lanes of goods.

Went in for storage boxes. Was directed to where they were located and given a large cart since I was buying quite a few. I wish the small boxes were one inch wider like Uhaul small boxes to make it easier to pack files. Overall good experience.

It all started with a bad experience with the location on 72nd Ames’s customer service .i Waited almost 30 minutes to get some help in the grill and smoker area and no one came to help at all. I waited so long to a point where I had no choice but to walk out and head to a different store . All bad feelings and madness changed when I made my way to the location on 144th and W maple . First time grill guy I am, I was able to find a Down to earth and outgoing, helpful associate name Kerri Lewis. God she was amazing... She helped me right away and listened to my needs . Kerri made sure I picked up everything I needed for an exceptional grilling experience. She told me “go on and shop for whatever you need and I will find you when they bring me the grill”. I mean how great is that right? She then found me and directed me the the self checkout line when her associate brought the grill . She was more than happy to assist me when I needed the help. She even walked outside with me to show me other options , crazy part about it is that she helped me pick out the baddest, the hottest, the nicest, the best grill out there . Kerri is the definition of customer care because she treated me the same way as she would want to be treated . Thank you Kerri, I can’t wait to get that smoker going .Now this store will be my number one store to go to . Yes! I loved the service .

I went to pick up an item for an online shopper and they had the wrong item so the customer service rep had to go get it. It wasn't a bad experience but I had hoped it was better. We're all human.

Mitch was an incredible help to me yesterday when I bought a Christmas tree and two decorative Holiday planters.The prices were most reasonable but the best thing about my shopping experience was Mitch! He could not have been more helpful! Home Depot is fortunate to have him as an employee!!!

I wasn’t sure where to find all the tools at that I wanted to get for an electrician for Christmas.... Luckily the Home Depot employees decided to be very helpful. An Employees even got a box out for me because there wasn’t anymore of what I was looking for. Thank youu! It was definitely the most crowed store I went into during Black Friday, but the helpfulness helped w/ the chaos. I’m very grateful that this location had helpful employees. I’m feel like they helped me make a good Christmas for my electrician.

I’ve made several large purchases (new refrigerator & dishwasher as well as window coverings & installation of them) and many minor purchases (shower heads, toilet seats, etc.) from this Home Depot and have always had great service from the employees. They’ve all gone above & beyond in customer service from calling to ensure the window coverings were installed and that I was happy with the options they’d helped select, to absolute kindness in curbside pickup! Definitely will continue to shop there and work with the great employees.

My husband and I were in Home Depot on Maple Street last night and the guy in the flooring department was so helpful. I'm guessing he was a high school kid or maybe a little older. He was on the phone helping another customer when we approached him. Another woman stopped to see if she could help us however she didn't work in flooring so she said that we needed to wait to speak to him. It was starting to get late and they were announcing that the store was closing soon. We still waited since we really needed to get the items we came for. He got off the phone and immediately apologized for the wait but we were not bothered by it at all. He helped us pull down a bunch of floor tile and all the other items that we would need to complete the project. By this time they had announced that the store was closed and they were turning the lights off. The boy helping us continued to help us. We were looking all over for one last item and he couldn't find it since he said that things are constantly getting moved around. We put the last item on the cart and we headed up to the cashier after thanking him for his patience and for all of his help and for staying a few minutes late. We proceeded to go to the check out and all that was available was self check out which was fine. There were a few ladies at the front who were clearly irritated that we were still there however if there were more people working in one department who could have helped us we could have been out of there sooner. Again we were not upset that we had to wait. Once we got to the the checkout the young man there was also very helpful and he offered us a home depot card which would have given us a discount for applying for. We declined and checked out. I just need to say that the younger generation at this store was much more responsive and had a better work ethic than any of the others. Nice job boys and nice job to the parents who raised them.The boy at the checkout gave us his business card and his name was Trevor Wiley, I wish I could have remembered the boy back in flooring because he was great too.Thanks Home Depot!

Generally speaking, they have what we need and they have fair prices and good pro contractor programs. This particular visit on a Saturday was a bit of struggle, though. We couldn't find the quality of paint rollers we wanted (they just don't carry them) so had to get those at another store. The corded sander we wanted was out of stock on the shelf and it was difficult finding help to let us know if they had any in back stock (they didn't). So, left a little disappointed with our visit.

Been shopping here for over 10 years for my business. Unfortunately the quality of customer service has gone lower and lower with every passing year. Employees are rude. Act like you were an inconvenience to their day. That's fine. I just go across the street to Lowe's

Great Home Depot to go into and shop. Do NOT order online for curbside or pick up here. Curbside never works, you end up having to go inside. I’ve waited multiple times for 20+ minutes and end up going inside to have them search for my order there, which takes a while too.

Ordered windows here 3 months ago. They screwed up my order, found out after I picked them up. Had to haul the wrong ones back, return them, reorder them. Then I get a call about how much I liked them, still waiting on the last one.

This home depot customer service is the worst. I had a bulk order, me and my contractor went there twice to tell them that the order name of the floor did not match. They open up the website and lecture me about how the brand name in flooring works. So, we trust them and bring the floor home. Surprise surprise they had given us floor with different color. I called them to say that the order was wrong and customer service do not want to help. Why should i pay for transporting the order back if you mess up the order even I pointed out the mistake before taking the boxes. Customer service rep tells me its a simple mistake but for me its a mistake that cost me time and money. Horrible and will advise any one reading this comment to not trust them at all.
