I absolutely love coming here whether it's to shop for something or just to look around and enjoy being in the presence of books! The selection of books is great, and I can always find something that i want to take home with me. I especially love the children's area, and they even offer story times. And along with books, they sell a ton of other products, including puzzles, home decor journaling supplies, skin care items, and so much more.

This place is amazing, first off, they have a list of banned books at the beginning of the store and the reasons and where they are banned, quite a few of them I had to read in school, second, I was helped by a really nice person called Ebani, she deserves a raise and helped me find a couple books and a few other items such as toys and trinkets, I highly recommend shopping here as it is a must have experience.

I am grateful for our local independent bookstore, The Bookworm. They stock a great collection of newest releases, classics, and local interest. It is a great place to find gifts or lovely greeting cards. They are happy to order or find any book I have requested, including some that are no longer newly printed. One of my favorite Omaha spots!

I have been here many times. It is a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. They are very helpful and have even ordered books for me that they don't have on the shelf. They also carry greeting cards and a few small seasonal gifts. I highly recommend this store.

The staff is kind and helpful. The store is well stocked with a variety of books and home decor. The children's section is organized in a way that I can find the right book for my child's age or reading level.

The Bookworm is a very cozy feeling bookstore. There was a good variety of books to browse through, the children’s section had its own room with some actives that small children can partake while there which was a nice feature. One of the perks offered here was the employees would gift wrap any books purchased for free, and you could pick the gift wrapping.I also appreciated the section dedicated to informing about banned and challenged books. This was a nice area to educate people about pushes to ban books for frivolous reasons.Only main issue was it was a bit difficult to find where certain books were, it can be kinda hard to see some of the signs as they just blend in. Of course you can avoid that by asking for help from someone working there.

Such a beautiful clean quiet place to be!!!! First time being there and it was so calming. I’ve never been somewhere in Omaha where as soon as you walk in it’s peaceful. The only downside I would say is the employees didn’t acknowledge me being there, which is why I took off a star, but I didn’t care bc that’s most ppl in Omaha.

Employee in the children's section was very knowledgeable about their stock and very helpful. She even offered me a chair to sit in while I read a child's book (I walk with a cane). She told me of another book by the same author.

What a treasure! I visit a lot of local bookstores during my travels, and this one is definitely in the top 10 in the country that I've seen. Picked up a few gems for the road. And yes, I'm a grown man who enjoys folk lore and fairy tales!

What a magical place!! I stopped by today with my two toddlers— as soon as we made our way to the children’s room, a very polite sales associate immediately asked if we needed help or would like any recommendations (I believe this was Connor?) which I appreciated immensely. Customer service of this level is a rarity anymore! We left with a big stack of books we’re eager to read. I have many fond memories of going to the Bookworm when I was a child, and I’m delighted I get to share this wonderful place with my children. Thank you!

This local, independent bookstore has a loyalty program, a fantastic kids' section, and a convenient online ordering system. If you need an item that's not currently on their shelves, they are quick to order it from the warehouse. Their communication and customer service are also great.

Lovely bookstore. You can tell the staff loves books and cares about what their readers want to read. It's smaller unlike the larger bookstores but has AMPLE books and choices! Their child section is adorable and perfect for a child to explore on their own.

Though a smaller store compared to your corporate book stores, this independently owned spot is up to date on the the newly released as well as the classics you’re looking for. The kids section is tucked away and perfect for your little one to go explore.

We stumbled onto The Bookworm while eating at a nearby restaurant. From the outside, I was afraid it was going to be more like a gift shop that carried some books than a serious bookstore but I was mistaken. It's a solid full service bookstore with a good cross section of genres. The atmosphere is pleasant. Staff isn't particularly helpful, but they weren't unpleasant, either. Not sure why the retail book industry is where customer service goes to die, but it seems like this is always a risk when we visit a new bookstore. Definitely the best we've been to in metro Omaha and good enough to come back to the next time we're in town.

I love this store! If you're into shopping small business, are a lover of books, love original gifts, love outstanding customer service, you really need to check out The Bookworm. I recently wandered into the kids section for the first time and honestly I didn't want to leave. No really, if I didn't have other plans I would still be there (with their permission of course).
