When I was a young man, I often went to auctions to hunt for bargains and "treasures". Many years have gone by and I am now disabled and retired. I have rekindled my interest in auctions and Proxibid allows me to search for several auctions in my area and place on-line bids without my having to leave home. I can't drive and then stand for hours waiting for items I'm interested in to come up for bid in person. Proxibid allows me to sit in my comfy chair and place bids remotely while home, where I can use my bathroom when needed, get something to eat or drink and even watch TV while on my computer. And I highly recommend their search feature which will locate items of special interest anywhere in the country. This is definitely a business I enjoy dealing with!

Have liked Proxibid for many years--since the beginning but now they have companies like Mag Auctions that are praying on people. I was charged $100 but never given them permission to do so. In the past you would have to provide a credit card for companies to hold to be able to bid on items-never had a problem with that and had $2500 held multiple times. In the last 5 years I have sold vintage cars overseas and this is a 1st. Mag Auctions so be required to give back mine and many others whose $$$ they stole without my permission and then either kicked out of Proxibid or required to follow rules. Proxibid provided them with my credit card without my permission so they are just as guilty. I have emailed Mag twice without a simple response. In my last emailed I placed the clause--Failure to response means that you agree you have taken my $$ without consent and agree to return it promptly. I have filed a complaint with my bank and nothing yet back into my account. Next step will be to file with the BBB and Attorney General's office against both Mag and Proxibid for this scam they are running. What I felt was a 5 star company has not done their homework on the business practices of those they do business with. Take a look and the many others that have been scammed by Mag by looking at their Goggle reviews--I'm sure there are many others out there that got ripped off. Sadly, this will take more of my time to get this right.

I prefer Proxibid to its competitor HB (Huge Business) becauseProxibid buyersa. may see and bid on fewer items but receive better andquicker service from Proxibid sellers, tho not always asquickly as I would likeb. will likely buy the same item listed on Proxibid and HBfor less $ on Proxibidc. do not report or complain about unfair or illegal sellerpractices as often as HB buyers, andProxibid sellersa. are not allowed to decide whether a buyer will be"pending" or banned to bid and from ANY seller ashappens at HBb. are not allowed to write, read or share secret buyerscores made by a third party as happens at HB

Let me first off say one of the absolute worst auctions to ever use. They sold me a item with the wrong information and incorrect description and will not respond back to me at all they claimed that they are doing a investigation and review on my purchase but I haven’t heard nothing since and it was an item that I paid 5k. The customer services will not answer any of my calls at all nor my emails they should be a shamed to call their selves an auction company. Please do not waste your time nor your money on proxybid.

They used to be great. Now they shopped their help service to the phillipines (SIC) They don't know anything; they don't care about you or try to help and they say "IF YOU BOUGHT THE PRODUCT ON OUR WEBSITE BUT THE COMPANY DOESN'T RESPOND TO YOU EVEN IF YOU PAID THEM TOUGH LUCK, WE WON'T HELP YOU". I a DONE with Proxibid. They SUCK

I was bidding in an online auction and I accidentally placed the same bid on two identical items, one of which I did not need. I contacted customer service and Giegie responded. Giegie was friendly, polite and professional. She quickly researched the issue and cancelled the mistaken bid. Thank you, Giegie!

I have used Proxibid many times in the past. I recently purchased an item from an Auction House advertised on the site and the seller has not shipped my item after taking my money. After multiple attempts to contact the auction company with no success I contacted Proxibid for support. That’s as far as it goes. I was told they would issue a notice to the Seller but when they don’t respond all you get is I am sorry. If you ask to speak to someone higher than the customer service number they tell you to send an email. I have used Proxibid for the last time. The bad part is the Auction Company is still using Proxibid to take other peoples money.

As a long time user of Proxibid and have logged in numerous times, I was frustrated when I suddenly got the message that my pass word and email address did not match. Out of frustration I changed my pass word, but was still unable to access my account. I fired off a request to Proxibid asking what was happening. They did promptly respond suggesting that I change my password. I never did received any information from them as to what caused the problem or why it existed. Up and operational now but still a bit frustrated.

Well I will entreat all buyers and seller to choose P{roxibid platform to do all their transaction because they have awesome agents who are ready and prepared to assist you whenever you encounter issues during buying or selling .Just reach up to them and they will have you case resolved amicably.They did it for me so will they do for you Thanks Charles

Proxibid needs a new IT guy. 5 times now, I won a bid (Got the big green you won) and it was ignored then given to the floor. Can’t bid on Proxibid effectively anymore. Was OK last year but now it sucks. Trying to push the auction houses I deal with to Hibid, Equipment Facts, Auction Time or anything else. And the response from Proxibid indicates their lack of knowledge on their own system or they just don’t care.

Never had a problem. With anything or anyone on here. Maybe people need to realize what an auction website is. An auction. You win and mostly lose. After reading reviews seems like it’s a personal and security problem. I’ve never had a problem like those in the reviews. Spent over $5,000.00 on this site and have had every item delivered. I’m bidding on items and will be bidding on items.

I bought an ATV from this site listed by one of its auctioneer which said to comes with a title, runs and drives. After I received the ATV, I received only a bill of sale instead of a title, and the ATV was not able to even turn on because the engine had broken parts inside of it. Proxibid did nothing to help. Other auctioneers like JJ Kane, sold me a van with so many issues that they failed to mentioned. I will need to spend more than $8,000 to fix some of the key issues with the van. As per my experience with Proxibid, auctioneers misled buyers with no action taking against the auctioneers. On the other hand, if an auctioneers complaint about a buyer, they quick to take action in support of the auctioneers regardless if the auctioneer(s) is wrong.

Zero customer service had 2 issues with 1 sale and I contacted proxy bid and might as well been talking to a wall . Buyer beware . If you need any assistance other than paying for an item , you are S.O.l. I have spent tens of thousands with these people and would not recommend using them

I was unable to update my CC data to then bid on an item. Drop down screen to do so appeared but I was not able to continue to the "save" box. Not sure why. Proxibid suggested my device may be at fault. So, will try again.

Website sucks. Sellers can extend bidding whenever they want for months and the website does nothing about it. They will do everything to benefit the seller auction not you trying to bid on items. Use a different website. Several other better sites that do the same.

Be very careful when bidding with Ty else folks. They do not describe what you’re bidding on well at all, and they do not care if they’re screwing you. As a matter of fact, they will withhold very important negative information just to make the sell. This business should be shut down due to their sneaky ways.

What a disaster of a company. Tried for 2 plus hours to get enabled to bid. Sent them way more info/proof of who I am than I was comfortable with. Wasted 2 plus hours of my time and they still have my account blocked. I have never experienced a company that puts so many roadblocks in the way of spending your money with them. There is NOTHING on the auction sites worth the hassle of doing business with this company. NOTHING!! Now they have all my ID and account info and I cannot bid or get my info back. I can only assume I'll be enjoying some fraud in the future.

I have had a brick and mortar business for over 25 years. I have bought from businesses, auctions including THIS ONE and wholesale companies all over the country and have never been charged sales tax when I have provided my resale certificate. I have spent my day emailing Mary M who has been no help. BTW, Mary. I just got off the phone with the Ohio Department of Revenue and they say you're wrong too. If you're a business with a tax certificate that you have uploaded to Proxibid website don't be surprised if they don't honor it.
