Not a familiar with Pottery Barn have only seen pictures of the furniture. Went there to eyeball sofas. Prices and dimensions were on some units and not on others. It was nice to be left alone since I was browsing and not seriously buying. It appears to be high-end compared to what we have spent in the past for furniture but to be frank we haven't bought any new furniture besides a mattress since 2003. Things have changed.I didn't see anything that I felt would meet our needs so did not solicit assistance. There was a sign on the window about design services. A service like that might be helpful for the likes of ourselves who are pretty clueless

The store is cramped and didn’t have some of their online items in the store for me to look at or buy. I wasn’t greeted when I came in or left, nor was I offered any assistance. I didn’t feel unwelcome per se, I would say the employees seemed apathetic.

We went into the store on Regency to look for some furniture for our new house. Nobody, and I mean nobody in the store even approached us to see if we needed some help. Terrible customer service will never shop there again spent all our money somewhere else do not go to this store.

Bought a dining room set and it took a month to deliver, ends up being damaged on arrival, will take another 90 days to get another....crazy!

* Update- after three months of back and forth with PB, I finally received a (second) couch and console table. The table was damaged. The first couch arrived damaged, and the air fryer from Sonoma had Christmas wrapping paper on it and the entire side was crushed. Again, customer services was unhelpful and robotic. I received the best assistance by going directly to the store, where I was informed that my "experience" with PB is becoming "the norm". I have taken my entire business elsewhere.SO DISSAPOINTED! Thought this was a "high-end" store. Still waiting for couch and table that was ordered "quick ship" over 7 weeks ago. Customer Service is not helpful. This was a business-2-business order and we are taking all future orders elsewhere. BUYER BEWARE!! Not worth it!

This was my first visit to a brick and mortar Pottery Barn. (I usually buy online)The shop was clean, well organized and friendly staff.However, the shop is on the small side with limited inventory.

A big disappointment! We ordered a rug (in stock or atleast in the U.S.) back in August and PB lost the rug, couldn't find it after 60+ days. Shipping dates changed August until December, so the store manager tried to find it and couldn't so we decided to cancel the order. Somehow the missing rug was classified as 'returned' and PB reordered the rug without our permission. After more than an hour on the phone with customer service, the order was finally cancelled (why couldn't we do it at the store?) and we were told to expect a refund with 5-10 business days. Meanwhile, more than 10 business days later-still no refund but we did get a bucket full of snarky attitude from the customer service department.Don't shop at this store and more importantly don't order anything. If you can't carry it out of the store you will not likely ever see it on your doorstep.

Update on terrible and I mean terrible @potteybarn customer service. Table sold as all aluminum is not and is rusting. Paint chips easily and stains. Customer service is horrible to deal with. I mean stand behind what you sell and put your name on. I feel this is great bait and switch. Terrible experience with Pottery Barn and their customer service. Ordered a brand new set of patio furniture that they have on display on the floor of their store yet 3 months later it has arrived piece by piece and most are now on back order. Don’t sell items you don’t have. I am not buying on hope that you will manufacture it specifically for me. When I call customer service they nicely tell me to bend over and take it. In 2 months when it finally all arrives I can’t wait to tell our guests how horrible the experience was and not to shop at their store. Wayfair all the way moving forward. Worst experience with a retail organization I have ever had.

Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service. I ordered a dining table and paid for front door delivery. The table was $1200 so not cheap. I did not need for set up which is why I just paid for the front door delivery. However, I received an email saying my table will be delivered in the next 5-7 business days. When I called to get that narrowed down so that I was for sure home when it arrived so it would not sit out in any elements, they could not narrow that time frame down. I was put on hold, transferred, dropped and spent 3 hours on hold until I finally got transferred to a supervisor in which case I cancelled my order. I will NEVER order anything from the again.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I ordered furniture, and the delivery company, Ryder, is horrible. I will never order from Pottery Barn again, and they should fire Ryder as their delivery provider. Only after complaining and providing proof of a text that was sent to me saying they were at my house (they were not), did I get a refund.

This company has the worst customer service out there. We ordered some patio furniture months ago. They would tell us it was going to be delivered by a certain date then the order would get pushed back a month, then another month. You call them and they have no idea where your order is or they just hang up on you. Hung up on us twice! We had to cancel part of our order because we could not get an answer when it would arrive. We have asked a manager to call us back but have heard nothing. A company this size and buying power should not have issues like this. We will never order from them again. I wish I could give zero stars!!!!!

Terrible customer service. Ordered a mug over a month ago still haven’t received it. They kept pushing back the delivery date. Called customer service and waited for a long time on hold. Once I spoke to someone, they hung up on me. I then had to call back to only be put on another long hold. This time a lady named Ebony helped me. She was extremely rude and never once apologized for our item that apparently was in stock but never shipped. When I asked her what they were going to do to make up for their mistake she responded by “What do you want us to do?” Seriously? Was really disappointed with the experience and will never order from them again!

Didn't purchase any items, other than a gift card for my mother in law for Christmas. Very nice, fancy and well kept store. I took off two stars because it was impossible to find an employee to help me. The other because I didn't purchase anything so I can't comment on the quality, prices, etc. My mother in law does buy a lot of stuff from here though and from what I saw, they had a lot of things that were my taste in decor. When I'm able, I may go back and purchase something though. Overall, good experience.

The people in the store are friendly and professional. however, that's where it all ends. The customer service after the order is placed and the coordination of the delivery has been disappointing. Their communication between departments and with me, the customer, was awful. After placing two separate orders, I did not receive a delivery notice until more than a month after they charged me for the first item. I finally called to check on my order and their rep was apologetic and wasn't sure why I wasn't contacted, and told me she put notes in the system to deliver my two separate orders on the same date. Unfortunately, this was a waste of time because I was told there are no notes in the system so I now have two separate delivery dates.

I ordered Indio chairs and cushions April 9,2021. I got a notice the cushions were to be delivered April 14th and the chairs would be here May 7. The chairs arrived early and the cushions have yet to arrive. I checked the tracking every day it was pushed back 2 to 3 days each time. I finally called and was told that something happened and the cushions were never sent or got lost. Was told they would reorder them and should arrive May 20. Six weeks late. What a disappointment and mess up. Oh. And of course my card was charged April 11th. And then to be told they couldn’t refund me. While on hold trying to figure out that the rep hung up on me.

Pottery Barn has the worst customer service. I would never recommend ordering from them. If it's not in stores and something you can pick up and take with you, find other options. There are other companies with better customer service to give your business to.

I was very disappointed with my visit today. I walked into the store and found myself looking around for quite a bit. Every single staff member saw me and not one person greeted me. ( there were about six people working) not even a hello or can I help you find something? But when another guest entered the store every one she encountered greeted her With smiles and hellos, I couldn’t help but feel discriminated against whether it was my different ethnicity or what ever reason. I did find some items that I wanted to purchase but I ended up putting them back because I didn’t feel comfortable supporting a store that cares little about my experience.

Was impressed at first...Meghan at the Omaha, NE store went out of her way to help me get my twin grandchildren’s Easter baskets sent to me on time for Easter.... but when they arrived they were WAY too large .. I should of gotten the smaller ones.. I called (I am an hour away) the gal that answered the phone said no problem, just return them within 30 days. My daughter was going to Omaha and took them and they said they would take the baskets back but not the liners .. they were non returnable. At no time was that relayed to me and all I wanted was to return them and reorder the smaller sizes on line... this was my first purchase from The Pottery Barn and it will be my last.

Honestly the first place we go for furniture. You can waist time and pay more for low quality furniture at Nebraska Furniture Mart or just order from PB. We have compared many times and always end up back at PB.

Poor customer service and attitude. Place a large curtain hardware order and it has been over 5 weeks getting parts and pieces here and there. I paid in full at the store and they continue to charge my credit card randomly and I never received my 25% - 30% sale price. Called into work with someone and was on hold twice for over 30 minutes. Not happy and can't finish hanging my curtains.

Horrible store...Chip is out on my card, waiting on replacement, so in the mean time doing the “insert 3x and then swipe”. Well, they won’t do here & wont physically punch in the number. So i left and while sitting in my car, I found the exact same item on amazon for $10 cheaper and it arrives in two days.

We purchased a $300 mattress for a crib and it ripped in two spots on the seams. We used their mattress pad and sheets. Considering we only use this only six months out of the year, we asked them for a new mattress. Their response was a $5 credit. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THESE CROOKS! NO WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS. Go to Costco, it was half the price and is still holding up fine.

I really like a lot of the items in the store, however, it would be difficult to find store associates who seem less interested in their jobs than the ones who work at this location. I had to ask four times if I could check out/buy the items I had been holding in the front of the register for the past several minutes. The first three times, all three associates ignored me completely. The fourth time, I was told that all three of them were busy and they would get to me when they were done. I then asked if the other register was open, to which one replied "maybe". I then tried to move all of my items to the other register, except they were unwieldy and ended up tumbling to the floor. No one offered to help collect them and instead stared at me as I picked everything up. The store associates were extremely helpful to another woman who was admittedly much more dressed up than I was. Apparently I didn't "look the part" enough to be worth helping.

This store is so sad, I’ve never experienced worse customer service in my life. Being a younger female I must look like I can’t afford items from this store, every time I walk in the workers don’t even say hello. Even though I’ve spent plenty of money online purchasing items from this store I can no longer support a business with workers that look down on customers because they don’t look the way they think they should.

After paying their enormous in-home delivery fee, my dining table was delivered without any hardware and left in pieces on my living room floor. It took 7 months to get the hardware and I ended up having to put the table together myself - after living with pieces of a table in my living room for SEVEN MONTHS. Despite saying they would compensate me for this absolute headache, they did nothing in the end. HORRIBLE customer service.

Tons of cute stuff. Good quality furniture sold by people who are actually designers and not pushing sales to feed their commission checks... Cause they don't make any. They are also always so helpful when I go in and do in home appointments for design.... For FREE!
