I called a day before my pickup to ask about overnight parking. Left a message for Dave during the day. Based on my previous experience with other shippers I wasn't very hopeful that my message would be respond to especially after office hours but sure enough Dave called me back in the evening to answer my question.The loading process went very smoothly and it was all done in less than a couple hours.The young gentleman at the shipping office is a very friendly person and very graciously offered to email the paperwork to my company because it was quite a handful.All I can say is this is company with a big yard for overnight parking and people with big hearts. I will love to come back here again.Thank you.

Do not come in early. I called them and they say yes the earlier the better just to make me sit here and wait for hours. The just ran my clock out first no reason. Very slow loading.

I used to love Oxbows products and Timothy Hay. I used it for years, but since last February the quality is poor. We get bags that look like normal hay and my bunny doesn't like it like it used to. I'm placing this review to make the company aware they will loose customers if they don't get back to 2022 and prior quality back.

I went here for pick up, very poor look, the behavior of the staff is good for conversation, but you have to wait for a long time, even after your upvotmat time, you have to wait more... I think 1 rack is too much.……

very slow workers and disrespect to drivers! They don't understand that because of their slow loading, I'll have to carry the load all night. I only waited about an hour for check in, and after that the door and the loading, it took hours!

Nicest place I’ve loaded in a while. I load here a few times a week and they’ve always treated me with professionalism and respect. Be patient at check in window, they will have you loaded and rolling under 2 hours. Overnight parking, Loves down the street. Thanks again guys (from 240101)

Very good people very polite. Open at 7 am. Washrooms are inside with fresh coffee. Takes about 2 hours to load. You can sleep overnight there.

I’m leaving this review to help anyone who is the same spot as I am. I’ve been trying to get my 401k from this company for almost 2 months now. I filled all the paper work and was thrown back and forth to who I give my paper work to. Once I finally gave my paperwork to oxbow they put in the wrong info. Not a single person tried to get a hold of me after they found out it was wrong. Sent an email to hr and got a response saying I had till the 18th to give them the right account info to direct deposit. Sent them the right info and didn’t hear anything from them. Sent an email a week later trying to get an update. Got nothing. Called 2 weeks and left a voice mail for HR. Still got nothing. So I finally called today and was told it would be sent by check and mailed out the 23. Called John Hancock and was told they didn’t update any of my info that I filled out on my paperwork and they sent a check to my old address. Poor communication skills and poor reading skills at this company.

I went through a temporary agency and was sent to Oxbow Animal Health, worked there 2 whole days, and the third day I was sent home because there production manager stated that I could not demonstrate or give them numbers that they were looking for. I did not have enough time to even get use to the position. All they did was use me for a couple of days, and got rid of me like you throw away a piece of trash. I will work hard for any company that gives me a half of a chance. Not very nice people to work for, and they could care less who they step on, not a good company to work for, they are not fair with their work practices. That's why they go through temp services, so they can use and abuse people, and discard people like garbage. I didn't even get a thank-you, see you, later, nothing. Not a good place to work, and be treated fairly! Additionally, I was so aggravated because I drove all the way from Council Bluffs, and they did not even bother to call the temporary service, right after I got there they sent me home, so I drove out there for nothing. Then because I was so aggravated I left my jacket. I called out there to arrange a time to come and get my jacket, they turned around and emailed my temporary agency telling them that I was calling them excessively. "Really" this proves right here that these people think they are above anybody, and act like their above everybody, and they treat temporary workers as degenerates. They have lied, and turned this into despicable experience. I have no respect for people that treat people dishonestly, and treat people.like trash. There loss, I will take my experience to better place that appreciates my work ethics as well as my determination, innovation. This place is not worth the time or the effort. I would not send anyone to this place to work. Obviously they are better than the average person.Perspective employees beware!!!!Response to owner: I did not feel disrespected, I was disrespected, and your not sorry. It is my opinion for accomplished businesses such as yours, yours, and others like you need to take responsibility for your actions and be held accountable. You may recognize it, but will you do anything about it?????? As far as having 30 years of treating employees applicably, that may apply to your regular employees, but it does not apply to your temporary employees, I had only two full days. I did not have time to acclimate myself to the position before I was judged and turned away. Try again!!!

Oxbow's customer service is outstanding!I contacted the company after purchasing Western Timothy Hay for our Holland Lop (Bunny) at a local store. The hay was brown and our bunny was not interested at all in eating it.We called up Oxbow, and my husband spoke with Christy who was amazing. She not only sent a fresh bag of hay (free of cost) but also included treats and toys for our bunny. Christy also sent us a nice handwritten note, apologizing for the quality of our original purchase.You don't see customer service like this these days. Christy and Oxbow righted and wrong and kept a customer to boot. Well done!

I had a terrible experience with poor customer service while trying to complain about a bag of Organic Barley Biscuits that had gone rancid many months before their Best Before date. It took me 2 emails followed by a week of waiting for a call-back, followed by a Messenger message, another email, and a phone call to finally speak to someone. No explanation was given for why the biscuits had gone bad, they did not try to get them returned to them to find out, and compensated me with 3 bags of treat for all of my time and agrevation. I will never buy another Oxbow product again and encourage people to regularly have a good smell of your companion animal's food to make sure it is still fresh enough.

Great company to work for. I have had temporary work with this company and they are all so organized and very commited to education. My guinea pigs have a longer life expectancy on their products and the hay/pellets/treats are enticing for them. I encourage the staff to keep doing what they are doing and keep working together like family.

Update: nearly 2 weeks after my initial email I heard back and we were able to work things out to my complete satisfaction. I upgraded the rating to 4 stars because all in all Oxbow is a company I respect and appreciate as a pet owner. ---Oxbow customer service can't be bothered "with the small stuff", as in a paying customer's concern. A small problem with a very easy fix that wouldn't have cost them anything turned into me looking for another hay supplier and taking my business elsewhere due to their unresponsiveness, lack of concern and lack of responsibility towards the little critters they serve. I will look into small pet select for my future hay purchases.

My Oxbow experience was very bitter sweet. As a temp worker in the warehouse I loved it. I looked forward to unloading or relabeling because I know that I was needed and I did my best to get the temp work done as fast as possible never worrying about completing the job too quick. However, as a production worker in hay...... it was something else. 1st understand there are hardly any black women employed by Oxbow from the front office to the floor, pellets, barn or the warehouse, however I did not let it deter me from accepting the assignment. I said to myself that's probably cause they didn't want to deal with the amount of dust or chemicals in the air. Until I was called Aunt Jemima one week after being there for 9 days and asked why I would not help her clean and the next week (about day 13) accused of being aggressive after I mistakenly hit someone in the head after dumping a bin higher than my line of sight. I apologized and then was told that their opinion of me was that I was too aggressive but not for exchanging words nor being an unhappy worker but that is how they perceived me. (I have a husband that works and 3 beautiful children I have no reason to be unhappy plus I'm just returning to the workforce after 8 years of being a homemaker might I add I was interested in longterm employment) I was very offended so I asked just flat out is it because I'm black??? The lady said she had a black daughter and I asked what that meant? Keep in mind I was told this in front of everyone. I was completly embrassed and insulted cause before I spoke up for myself they did not have any other reason until that moment to think other wise. To add injury to to the insult I found out they had asked everyone on my line to comment on if I was aggresive before even asking me about the lady getting hit in the head. With saying all this black ladies be very careful when dealing with Oxbow I suggest just find another place to work. They will gang up on you when all you do is work, work, work. They said I was aggresive because I didn't speak at work quote unquote look like everyone else. I'm not mad though I had another job within 2 hours after this incident.

I spent good money on yalls “drip free” water dispenser. That thing don’t even hold water long enough for our animal to drink any! It just soaks all of the bedding and leaves him thirsty. Such a poor product.

I worked here and the pay does not fit the job! They overwork you and its a very dirty dusty job. Work here if you want to go home dirty everyday.
