I'm thrilled with the newest (and best) dog daycare in Omaha at the Omaha Dog Bar. The socialization of doggy daycare is good for dogs. My two come home exhausted and happy! The dog daycare groups are kept small in size, and the Bark Rangers are excellent with all the dogs. They ensure that all the dogs are getting along and engage with the dogs all day. Another great perk is that after doggy daycare and a long & productive day working from home, I can grab a beer at the dog bar, talk to other dog owners, and relax! My pups and I are extremely happy that Omaha Dog Bar added dog daycare services.

My pups have gone to Dog Bar for about three years and my youngest and most rambunctious goes to daycare any time I can afford it. I appreciate the small groups they have and that staff knows my dogs and their…quirks. They are SO excited when we pull up at Dog Bar so I know they feel safe there and are ready to play. Steve always comes home tuckered out, which is a freakin’ miracle. Love love Dog Bar!!I will add that my girl (the black and white one in the bunny photo) was great at Dog Bar when we first adopted her. However, as time went on, she grew more uncomfortable (she’s done the same with fosters at our house, but that’s easier to manage) and going after other dogs. Leah, the owner, offered to pay for a trainer to come and work with her at Dog Bar so that she could continue coming and asked that we not bring her back without that. So, because Gert can be a jerk, she’s not allowed at dog bar. But we understand that Leah and the bark rangers are taking everyone’s safety and enjoyment into account! Gertie just isn’t a dog bar dog and that is a-okay - my boys still think it’s the best place ever and I still love it.I am involved in rescue and Omaha Dog Bar is the only dog park that we allow our fosters to go to (after getting to know them!) because we know the risk of fights and encountering sick dogs is substantially lower than a regular dog park. We appreciate that all dogs must be up to date on vaccines and altered after a year old. And, if you’re with a rescue that is registered with DB, fosters get in for free. They also support tons of rescues by hosting meet and greets and adoption events. We’ve had several very successful events and it’s helpful that potential adopters get to see how the pups interact with other dogs. What’s cuter than a bunch of dogs playing? If you don’t have a dog but want to watch adorable dogs play, hit up dog bar for a couple of drinks and watch the pups! ( if you want to foster huskies, I can help with that!) And if you are looking for daycare, I love love love it. And maybe Steve can be your pups next best friend!Photos of Steve in the snow were sent from one of his daycare days! They send adorable photos and updates!Playground: The play space is large and open, allowing for dogs to run and romp. There are some fun spindles for them to jump on and in the summer there are pools and sprinklers for our pups to enjoy. Barkrangers are constantly cleaning and disinfecting to keep it a great space to be in. They’ve swapped out most wood for plastic, which is easier to keep clean and from smelling like pee, which I appreciate!Restrooms: Three single individual restrooms only have lines on VERY busy days. I have never seen them needing attention (can you tell how much I appreciate how clean staff keeps the place? I know it is extremely important for them!)Dog-friendliness: Barkrangers are there to help make sure pups are getting along, but more than that to make sure pup parents are keeping an eye on their dogs. It’s very helpful.Picnic area: The spaces for food are always clean and inviting. I appreciate that you are required to eat in designated spaces (rather than wherever you’d like in the play space) to avoid pups guarding/fighting over food.

Oh my gosh. We are so lucky and thankful for the Omaha Dog Bar. We had the shy-iest little pups and doggie daycare has really opened them up to their playful self’s we knew they had in them. Our pups go once a week and truly get excited every Tuesday when they hop in the car! ODB has wonderful drinks and daily specials. Another thing we LOVE are the speciality meet ups that change monthly. We attend the Shy/Senior Dog meet up along with the Small Dog (25 pounds or less) meet up multiple times a month. With our dogs starting to open up more and enjoy the daycare and meet ups, we recently signed up for the yearly membership, so affordable and it comes with extra guest passes and baths! Love the Omaha Dog Bar and couldn’t imagine our lives without them!

This place is fantastic. My dog loves going there and everyone is so friendly. I'm not a fan of dog parks as a lot of owners aren't responsible but you don't run into that here! I also love the daycare option. I have a blue heeler mix that loves to run and having the indoor and outdoor option is perfect for her! They even send photos of your pups during the day!

Leah and her staff do an amazing job running the doggy daycare. My dog Jackson absolutely loves them and is so excited when we pull in the parking lot. When I pick him up he’s ready for a nap after a day of fun with friends. This caring staff won’t disappoint!Playground: Great place for the dogs to run aroundDog-friendliness: Great staff

Taking our puppy to ODB has been the best thing for him!! We love how he can interact with other dogs and learn to be social! We also love taking him to daycare while we are work where I know he is being taken care of and being spoiled! ♥️

Great place to come here with your dog. Been here several times with and without my dog and have never had a bad experience. I've also done daycare a few times for my dog and haven't had any issues and she really enjoys her day here.Restrooms: CleanDog-friendliness: As dog-friendly as an establishment can possibly get

What a fun place! Good food, great drinks including fun mocktails. Lots of fun to do watch the dogs run around outside and get worn out. Staff is good about keeping an eye on how the dogs are getting along and addressing any issues immediately. Pizza was also very good, had the buffalo chicken and bacon Gouda and both were delish!

In a desperate effort to find a place to take our 15 year old senior Boxer to run around by himself, I came across Omaha Dog Bar. When I called it was a little after 6 PM. I asked them if there was a way we could rent the entire place for our senior boy before he leaves us this Monday. They accommodated us in so many ways, making this happen the next day (today) at 7:30 AM. My boy had the time of his life and the way the owner treated us was like she had known us forever. I can't recommend this place ENOUGH. The owner also took pictures for us. It's been rough, but she made it alright in that hour we were there. I can't thank you enough!!!!!

We love Omaha Dog Bar! Our pup goes to doggie daycare there multiple times per week and absolutely loves it. She comes home happy and exhausted. The staff are fantastic and always have safety and cleanliness at top of mind. I can’t recommend this place enough! We also love stopping in during open hours with friends. The drinks are great and we always have fun. Do yourself a favor and check this place out. No pup necessary!

There is absolutely no better DOG BAR in Omaha! :) This place is amazing - when hubby & I get a date night and can leave the kids at home we love bringing our Golden here to have drinks and let him play (he loves it too). We also love bringing him here for doggy daycare once a week. The staff, indoor & outdoor areas plus the large space makes it the best place for Doggy Daycare in Omaha. The super easy drop off and pick up makes it that much better than other places too.

This is an outstanding place to bring your dog. It is clean, spacious safe and all the Bark Rangers are friendly, kind and ready to assist both people and dogs. The drink selection is very good and creative. There are lots of different areas for your dog to explore or if they are just shy and need to be alone. There are agility features as well as a fire hydrant that sprays cool water. There are also lots of tables and chairs for people. You and you dog can easily spend hours socializing or relaxing in the shade. I highly recommend supporting this wonderful locally owned small business.

Yes yes yes!! This place is top notch a must stop and take your pup!! Not only will you have a great time watching the pups run and play and cool of in the pools but your pup will have the very best time! The snacks that are available for humans are good but the ones for your pup they will devour!! This was so much fun for all of us and we will definitely be back!! Get your pups shot records together and get to the Dog Bar. Promise you will not be disappointed

This is my favorite place in Omaha! Everything about ODB is perfection. There's a huge outdoor area that's completely turf, which is way more sanitary and you never have to worry about mud. You can bring your pup when it's cold, warm, raining or snowing and they've got the right setup. There's also a great indoor area that's awesome for letting the dogs in to either cool off or warm up depending on the weather. There's always a couple workers walking around monitoring things to make sure everyone's safe and playing well, and also ensuring all dog waste is cleaned up. There's pretty much always a place to sit back and relax while you watch your pup play, and the fire pits they have are great when it's cooler out. We've brought our dog to play so many times, but we've also done daycare and I really hope they open up more days to do daycare! He had a BLAST and I knew he was being well taken care of, had plenty of room to play, and got a little down time to rest up before playing again. The price is reasonable especially considering all they offer, for literally all day. There are 3 solo gender-neutral bathrooms that are always extremely clean and stocked, which is honestly something you don't always get so it's very appreciated. There are daily drink specials and they rotate their cocktails every so often to mix it up, and they're always so good! Every staff member is friendly and attentive, and even after a few times going they remembered us and our pup. I really appreciate that it's women-owned and LGBTQ-friendly, so I feel safe there. It really is the perfect place - dogs, good people, and drinks. What more could you want?

My dog and I both ADORE this place! The space is beautiful and well thought out, the cocktails and food always hit the spot, and the management and staff feel like family. They do an excellent job coming up with special events for weekends and holidays, e.g., dog Prom, dog Pride, dog Halloween. The vaccine requirements (for pups) and the Bark Rangers make it feel safer than a dog park. And with their nice turf there’s never any mud. Truly a paradise for dogs and dog-lovers!

ODB is one of my favorite places in Omaha! Daycare is great! The staff communicates great and dogs have a blast. Jasper is always tired when he comes home from daycare. They keep the number of daycare dogs limited, so your dog gets plenty of attention and love!

We visited on a hot Saturday with our two pups. There are plenty of shady trees to sit under. Tons of dog bowls, fresh ice and water for the pups, a sprinkler, and stock tanks with water for dogs to cool off in. The vaccination policy is strict, which we appreciated. The owner and her team are super hardworking and keep the park clean. Very impressed with our visit and can’t wait to return!

My dog would like to give a rating of 50/5 stars. We’re here at least once a week and Ruby swears she runs the place. We love the food and drinks and they are very reasonably priced. The service is always helpful and the bark rangers keep your dogs safe and happy! You can truly see they care about your dog as well as your experience there. I love that they do events of all kinds and make friends and recognize you and your dog after a few visits. I’ve loved meeting new people and their dogs as well!

The dog bar is not only a favorite place for my dogs, but it’s a place my whole family feels comfortable going anytime of the year. They’re incredibly accommodating and helped me out when I needed it. The whole staff is amazing and my dogs feel 100% comfortable with them. You’re missing out if you don’t at least try to go there one time. I promise you’ll be back.

I've been going to ODB to enjoy their outdoor space for quite awhile now, and only recently starting bringing my ~9mo puppy for daycare. I couldn't be happier with their daycare set up. It's definitely more personal, clean, stimulating for the dogs than the other place I take her for daycare. She's always more tired when she comes back from ODB and I'm not sure what magic they do, but it's fantastic. It's also real nice that Leah sends me a text and photo with an update when my pup is at daycare. These folks really care about the pups and it shows. I just wish they had daycare on Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays too, but I totally get that they need the manage the numbers. Maybe in the future!

We love sending our pup to daycare at the Omaha Dog Bar, and he loves it more than we do :) The staff is super friendly and you can tell they really care about the dogs. The outdoor space is awesome!

I absolutely 100% recommend taking your dog to the ODB daycare(and so does my dog Sanka🐾)!!! Their employees are top notch and care so much about each and every fur baby. The facility has sooo much room that the dogs have lots of space to run around and be free. My dog can be a handful somedays and they have never once made me feel like he was an inconvenience. I have a hard time dropping my dog just anywhere because he can get anxious easily but I know for a fact he will have a good day at the dog bar!

Jolene and I have been coming to the dog bar since the first day she turned 4 months! This bar is a great addition to Omaha for people and pups. I appreciate that all of the dogs are vaccinated and socialized. It’s always felt extremely safe especially with the help of the barkrangers. I would recommend the annual membership!

Great place to take your dog to socialize, but I also recently started signing up for doggie day care once a week to reintroduce my shy pup to other dogs and get him re-acclimated to social situations. Really appreciate how the staff provides daily updates on the dog is doing and also creates an individualized plan for what's best for your dog. I.e. since my dog is both very small and shy with other pups, they're working to create situations that can help bring him out of his shell.

Truly, the happiest place in Omaha. I have had the pleasure of bringing my dogs to the Omaha Dog Bar for the past couple of years. Great for big and small dogs - be sure to read the rules and register your dog before visiting. I usually come here alone with my pup but am never lonely - the ODB has some of the best dog parents in town - there is always someone to talk to. I'm so thankful for the Bark Rangers and the entire staff for their contributions to the ODB.Dog-friendliness: This is THE place to bring your dog in Omaha.

This is a favorite spot for both us and our dog! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the selection of craft beer and cocktails is ample and festive, and meeting fellow dog lovers is a bonus. The facilities are very clean a well maintained. They also have self-serve dog baths with dryers (sure beats bathing the dog at home!) Whether you have a dog or not, check out the Omaha Dog Bar! 🐾

We got a year membership on our first visit. The staff knows what they're doing and are so friendly. And the menu is way better than I'd even hoped for.Their shy dog space is also pretty big. And when one of my dogs was getting overwhelmed and snipped, they didn't yell or kick us out. She was able to use the shy dog space to calm down, and go back to playing when she was ready.I can't express how much I appreciated that. They are really dedicated to providing a wonderful experience for everyone.

Hands down best place in Omaha to take your dog to socialize with other dogs! They have delicious drinks, food, service, and atmosphere. So much fun and never a bad experience. They also have so many cool events going on. We go at least once per month and we always feel welcome when we come (and they always remember us!!) They hosted a bday party for our dog last month and set up the table and everything. We can’t wait/are hoping for a location to open in West Omaha. Will definitely become members then!!

If you have a small dog that doesn't enjoy playing with big dogs, this place probably isn't for you. The small dog area is tiny, and it's never utilized, so whenever I take my dog they don't have anyone to play with anyways. Because of how tiny the small dog area is, even if there were 3-4 dogs there for my dog to play with, it would be too packed for them to run and play safely. Yes they have a small dog meetup once a month, but the cost to get in isn't worth it for the only one hour of playtime they get before bigger dogs start arriving. It's definitely not worth a membership if you have a small dog that doesn't enjoy playing with bigger dogs. Perhaps if they added more space for small dogs or increased the amount of time for small dogs only during the small dog meetups, it would be more worth it to pay just the daily rate

I have bringing my dog Stanley regularly for the past few years. During the winter, he was getting stir-crazy from being cooped up inside so I brought him to ODB for daycare. Even from just a half-day, he was worn out and happy. Would definitely utilize daycare again!
