Another incompetent pharmacy. They'll cancel the prescription in under 24 hours after making arbitrary decisions for you with regards to insurance. Then when things finally get corrected they want to make you wait 2 more hours to get your meds. If you want your medicine and you need it today don't send it to this pharmacy they're going to mess it up and you're not going to be able to get your medicine. It's been well over 24 hrs since this should have been filled.

I have been going through Hyvee for years, and the young man at the drive through is ALWAYS AMAZING! His name is Bryce and he is very good, never upset, rude or frustrated, but ALWAYS smiling, knows me by name and is so very kind . No matter how busy the pharmacy drive through is he is truly wonderful. Quite refreshing to have a young man so dedicated, helpful, understanding, and kind with a truly amazing memory! I cannot say enough good things about Bryce except that he is Wonderful!

98% of the pharmacy employees are absolutely rude and snotty! They act totally annoyed when you call there for help !!! We used kubats for 35+ years and that place was awful as of the last 5, but wow hyvee definitely takes the lead on snide , rude, and totally unpleasant service.

The guy named Bryce is always courteous, patient, and friendly. The rest of the staff are friendly as well, but not like him. Even if there’s a long line, I don’t mind waiting because of the service.

I would give 0 stars if possible. From my understanding, Hy Vee guarantees excellent customer service, but somehow, the pharmacy department must’ve missed the memo. The pharmacist here DO NOT care about the customers at all. They simply like to play the “waiting game” and then get frustrated at the customers instead. I have been waiting on a prescription for days. I've called the pharmacy twice, and the only answer given by the male pharmacist was, “Yeah, I don't know; we're waiting on approval.” At this point, I went in to get an answer and was told a similar response “I don't know what's going on. I would contact your doctor or insurance.” I reached out to my doctor to find out that the approval went through, and Hy Vee just couldn't figure it out, or they chose not to. When I questioned them on the holdup, the male pharmacist got angry at me and complained they were understaffed. I understand that they're busy, but all I wanted was a clear answer and communication to figure out why this issue occurred since I need this medication daily. I've had a similar problem happen at Walgreens, but they handled the matter in one day, and I received my prescription the next day. It's not hard to care about the customers, and this pharmacy lets the ball drop since it's not their problem. I will never forget getting told, “hey, I don't know what to tell you; I have five pharmacists filling 700 prescriptions.” The trouble and frustration of simply refilling a prescription is not worth it.I will never come back to refill any medications here. And if you have prescriptions you NEED on time, I recommend going elsewhere, or you could get lost within the other 700 prescriptions getting refilled here.

Worst HyVee pharmacy I’ve ever been to! The drive thru line NEVER moves. The literally make everyone else wait while they fill your scripts at the window. And it’s like pulling teeth trying to get my own medicine filled. They decided one day I didn’t need 2 blood pressure medicines and refused to give them to me! My doctor had to call and make them give me what she prescribed. Transferring back to Walmart ASAP!!!!

Most of the pharmacy staff is nice, but there are a few (one of the lead pharmacists, she never gave me her name) are extremely hard to work with. I got a lot of run around (that lasted multiple days where I was without my medication) that ended up being unnecessary because my prescription was in their system. It seemed like there was a little extra work to get my details that no one ever did. The only solutions came with a lot of unpleasant arguing and I had to act like a "Karen" to achieve anything. It is easier to just switch to a pharmacy that is willing to do 2 minutes of extra work than to deal with angry HyVee people for days.

Just tried to check on a prescription as to weather it was on for a delivery today and the person woman that answered didn't get any information and only said she would put it on for a delivery tomorrow. How does she know who exactly if she isn't taking information from him to find out. She could have checked and saw it was actually on the truck for delivery today.The next called looked it up and confirmed it for Gene.Thank you for doing it right the 2nd time.To the 1st gal. Maybe if you handled calls properly the 1st time people wouldn't have to call a 2nd time and take up so much of your time.

Not sure why my previous review of how awful this place is got taken down. It was on my ghost account. So here I am by name. Disrespectful, terrible customer service. Including the “pharmacist” who should maybe speak with HR about how she treats her customers and possibly consider a job at the DMV since rudeness is standard operating procedure there and might be a better fit for her. The brown-haired pharmacist lady has no business in the health care-pharmaceutical field. That industry is reserved for professionals, not patronizing snobs. Hyvee Shadowlake is where I recommend everyone to go. They’ll take care of you there. It’s worth the drive. Trust me.

The HyVee pharmacy at 5120 Center Street is the friendliest, most helpful and conscientious pharmacy in town. Not everything goes to plan, but this is really a "hometown" pharmacy where staff treat you really well. I have never have a serious complaint with these folk. A+ rating from me.

Wow... this place. It's horrible. And to think this used to be my preferred pharmacy.I have to regularly take pain medication due to a number of health issues. The least of which is a back issue verified by MRI.So, I had to have surgery the other day. When I went to this pharmacy rather than my usual pharmacy because it was more convenient for my ride, I was outraged, embarrassed and disappointed when I tried to collect my (supposed to be) filled prescriptions. I was treated like a drug addict. I was informed that my new medication to help with the surgery related pain had been canceled because they called my dr and complained until he canceled it. He's my dr and knows I already take a different medication, and considered this when giving me something to help with pain from the incisions and all since I'm too tolerant to my regular meds. But apparently they thought they were "informing" him.I was informed by the staff member that I "already take pain medication". Oh! Really?! On top of that she was rude when telling me of the canceled med, like she thought she was doing her duty and i was a dirty abuser.Needless to say, I've had to see my doctor again to have this resolved, because hyvee thinks they know my situation better than i or my doctor.So, thank you hyvee pharmacy, for making me run around in more pain than you can imagine, to handle a situation you know nothing about.I'll never use your services again, and I'll tell everyone and anyone that they shouldn't either. It's too big of a risk for us that legitimately need our meds.

My experience with this pharmacy is terrible customer service and pharmacists workers. I expect when I call in a prescription i can have it ready to pick up in a 4hr window right? No this is not the case.(never ready on time). And i also dont like geting 2 or 3 different price quotes from the time i called in script too when i show up!(am i being ripped off?).There are many other pharmacy's out there i suggest shopping elsewhere!I have moved on to getting my scripts and have had excellent service and on time! And the $price was the same as when i called it in!

So, I go to fill my son's monthly Rx here like always. The cashier at the pharmacy says, "Your license just expired on your bday and we can't give you his meds without a current driver's license." Ok...well, I don't get paid until the first, (i am disabled) so here's my social security card, debit cards, Florida drivers license, insurance cards, mail that was in my purse... but, nope, wouldn't turn over his meds because "policy".So, I go home and call my son's doc and ask if there's another way he can get meds without a driver's license. Doc calls pharmacy and hyvee tells them, "if she brings someone in with a valid driver's license, she can have the Rx."Wanna tell me EXACTLY who that policy protects? Because literally, I had to ask an unknown person to help, as I don't have family or friends. And literally ANYBODY except his own mother can pick up his Rx.Just WOW. They lost a customer and I frequently shopped hyvee.*side note: hy vee was frequently out of our meds, anyway. I'm going back to Walgreens and staying there!

I don't know what all the complaints are about -- I've had nothing but excellent customer service here for over a decade. Friendly, helpful staff, and they've even helped me save money on a few prescriptions over the years. Can't recommend them highly enough.

Stop by on Saturday To have breakfast waited 20 minutes to get served..... As I was waiting a couple came in , was waiting to get served too waiting 25 minutes and walked out cause nobody took their orde... This Waiter saw them walking out and they didn't care... Breakfast is good... Terrible service...
