How the heck does a grocery store run out of regular milk and then gouge you for the milk they have? Maybe just maybe if there's a storm coming you limit essentials so that you don't have this idiots buying 5 gallons of milk like 2012 is happening because you know we're in the Midwest so snow storms are SUPER uncommon right? Have some brain cells and plan better for these situations...so disappointing

If I could give this store a zero I would. My daughter had a flat tire on her car. She notified me about the problem I was in eastern IowaI couldn't help her with the tire change She parked her vehicle In the very north end of your parking lot as to not be in the way At 11:30am on the 26 at 2:30pm your Company called to have it TOWED! Now the towing company wants 232.00 to get it backWhat if she was shopping in your store for 3 hours and came out to find her car GONE! Is this company policy to have a car tower after 3 hours? I Believe not. UNREAL that this happened She cant afford to get her car out of towing lot To be held-up for 232.00 is just wrong Hy-Vee needs to make this right!

I asked hy-Vee to make me a cake from a Pinterest clip. Outstanding. Delicious. Soooooo affordable! Whip frosting and yellow cake and chocolate cupcakes . Under 60$ for both. Best baby shower idea !

Just visited the pharmacy.The staff was so friendly! (Compared to the mostly dead inside pharmacist I’ve worked with the last few years)Highly under appreciated, hard working people!Thank You for what you do!

We love Hy-Vee is our go-to grocery store but very disappointed in their new self checkout. They have it at only 15 items per person. Are you kidding me?!?! So you are pushing everyone to the cashiers who are very friendly but I can do self checkout for my items quicker and my things are packed the way I want them. I get to separate them between his work food, my work food and fridge, freezer and pantry. I know they are worried about people not scanning everything... that is the risk you run with not having enough employees, but they have cameras and police there at all times - so decreasing the items seems very unfair to us honest people that pay for our expenise groceries. Small things make us happy, and as long as that is their policy, I will be going to the 180th and Pacific as they don't have that ridiculous policy.

FANTASTIC experience. Soooo much better than the horrendous way I was treated at tge Hy Vee on Cass Street, where Matt Strite refused an exchange of bad wine even though I returned it within 30 min, receipt in hand. I was threatened with JAIL at the Cass Street Hy Vee. Also, I see my review there has disappeared. Hmmm Love this Hy Vee, tho. It's awesome!

The Hy-Vee store at 156th and Maple is my favorite grocery store for many of my needs. I enjoy the meals at the deli, the creative cakes in the bakery, the wonderful floral designs in the florist, the helpful and knowledgeable pharmacy staff and the efficient customer service staff. Since this is the grocery store closest to my home, I enjoy shopping and receive great friendly service during all of my shopping visits!

We used Hy-Vee on 156th & Maple for catering, floral, & bakery for our wedding. We could not have been more thrilled with the customer service in the catering department. Tsan is one of the best in the business & many of our other vendors even told us so upon booking! Our food arrived in a timely manner & the whole team was very communicative every step of the way & with any changes that came up. The catering department was by far the best communicator, but overall still absolutely a 5 star wedding package from hy-vee! We received SO many compliments on how gorgeously our flowers looked & Barb + her team in floral are absolute ARTISTS! The cakes were so yummy & our grooms cake was especially adorable! We are so thankful for the wedding team at 156th & maple helping us pull off our perfect day in so many massive & wonderful ways.

Barb was nothing short of incredible to work with! We had gone back and forth about doing real vs. silk flowers, and had actually mostly decided to do silk when we met Barb. Her industry knowledge is well-known in the Omaha area and her precision and attention to detail rival the top private florists in the area. We had so much fun working through what we did and didn't need - I really appreciated where she helped us cut back when needed and didn't just try to sell us the whole garden! We loved getting to see the bridal bouquet and the centerpieces the week of, and she was so helpful in making sure we knew how and when to transport each item. I’m leaving this comment due to the rude customer service that was given to me by the Starbucks female employee tonight. I asked one simple question but in turn I received a frown facial expression. Then she responded with “What” when I repeated my question twice of what time the does the new remodeled Starbucks opens in the am. Honestly, I believe it was due to my color of being African American. It’s very unnecessary and lacks one’s character to be so rude when I only asked a question. Now that I know her face every-time I encounter her presence the rudeness will be reciprocated.

Waiting on the store manager to get back with Sarah on outcome of security guards actions , UPDATE MAIN STORE MANAGER NEVER CALLED BACK AFTER HE WAS TO INVESTIGATE THE INAPPROPRIATE ACTIONS OF THE HY-VEE SECURITY GUARD. AND AT THIS POINT YOU CAN'T TRUST MANAGEMENT AT THIS HY-VEE EITHER.

I purchased a 18lb spiraled ham, Holiday potato w/cheddar 24oz, Bakery Fresh Cookie Dough Cake, White Cheddar macaroni 24oz.I have been calling for months trying to get a call back from the catering manager but have never received one until today. Which #1 I was called a liar for even ordering at this store due to the order forms not being from there…? (Wth do they think i made one up? This is ridiculous)2. I told the male who took my order i needed to begin my party by 7pm. I was told to pick up by 5:30pm the latest.3. I found out when I picked up the food that I had to then cook the food?? What? Thats why i was ordering from Hy-Vee catering because i didn’t have time to do this myself4. I was told the ham needed 3hours to cook. Welp im officially starting to feed my party behind schedule.5. The sides were not large enough to feed my party which i told Hy-Vee I needed to feed 8! I had 6 show up and we still ran out of food and some of my guests didnt get yo try either one or the other side dish.6. The Bakery Fresh Cookie Dough Cake; the kitchen staff told me they were missing one ingredient, but I needed a desert so I took the desert little didnt I know the ingredient missing was the cookie dough? 🤦🏻‍♀️I really was expecting better treatment from my neighborhood Hy-Vee.

Walked in tonight(Thurs Nov 9th..)10 stars ☆'s. for groceries and something caught my eye.'' sirloin steak n potato dinners..''.. I couldn't help myself. I had to have (2) sirloin steaks with my potato. Both steaks were PERFECT''about 1'' inch Thick !,AMAZING ( W/ Some Â-1 and a little sea salt..I'm saving ong for Saturday night. I sliced it real thinn ( more to enjoy that way.if This is a Thursday night thing.I know where I will be coming to pick up dinner on Thursday, just need to cook em' medium rare as they were tonight.. Amazzzing

Barb, this is about my experience with you specifically no one else.I was thrown back by the way my whole “floral experience” went.Yesterday, I tried to call and do something nice for my neighbors since they lost their mother. I figured I would get them some flowers.I call and someone answers and right away they were very short with me and it sounded like it was all about the money. They mentioned right away without me even asking that the price would be a minimum of 50 dollars with a 15 dollar delivery fee.I mentioned it would be fine and I would come get something, she immediately said okay how much do you wanna spend. I said 40 and after delivery fee it was 55.That’s not the issue, the issue was today. I called in to ask if they had confirmation of the flowers being delivered and right away the lady said, “confirmation?” “Do you mean like a confirmation from the people you were giving to them like a thanks?”I said no I wanted to know if they were delivered. She said they tried twice and called and then I mentioned she didn’t have the right number. I went to the point of coaching her through a customer service situation and she hung up. She interrupted the whole time and I couldn’t get my frustrations out.I drove all the way out to Hy-Vee to acknowledge the lack of customer service I had received and to pick up my flowers that would have sat there for multiple days.When I got there BARB right away took defense, interrupted me, told me how she worked 14 years at that hyvee and acted as if she knew what she was doing.She didn’t. I told her mid conversation to let me talk, and finally after a multitude of attempts I was able to walk her through my frustrations.I told her in customer service issues to let the customer talk and to express their feelings and to acknowledge those feelings and come up with a solution that suited the customer. I was not there to make a scene but to simply tell her my side of my experience. As I told her there Is a time for learning in every negative situation to try not to treat her next guess like she did I.I hope she reminds herself why she is in that industry and to recognize who stares back at herself in the mirror. Put a smile on and fake it or do something else and not work with people.I pray barb can take this opportunity to grow and develop her personable skills along with her customer service skills.I will check back in a couple days to see if my refund on delivery has been started.I will no longer go to hyvee for my floral experience anymoreI would love to change this review if something positive comes out of this.
