I usually don’t complain. But tonight my wife picked up the steal meal for ten dollars . We have had them before which they were very good. But tonight one steak was very rare and both very fatty and tough.

This is one of the bigger, nicer, updated stores in town. The staff has always been nice. They have an updated self checkout area and even have the new full-sized self service checkout aisles (see photo). Good sized health food section and the store also has the attached liquor store.

Great grocery store! Was very clean, employees were helpful, and even though it was very busy, we were through the checkout line pretty quickly. Easy to locate items, and a large variety of items.

Edit ty David MGMT at store was beyond control. Hillary several areas that were I call under construction simply because they're trying to restock and they're trying to set up and display caps and they can imagine how this impacts the customer has to be done. They had the self-checkout area that had so many options available yet something with the power so only one of them was working so every time a new person came up in a line behind me I'd be like okay well this is what's going on as the lady I think was pretty much just fed up with it she probably been dealing with it all day I mean I know when I walked by the meat department at that store the guy is like please let the power go down let it all go down. I don't know what the situation was and what all he had going on that he was carrying with him tell him about at work but would have been nice not to hear all that. I debated actually walking up to the counter to try and empathize and find a way to maybe make the day a little better but then thought it could also backfire on you and where kindness didn't matter nor good intent

As an instacart shopper, I shop all over the omaha metro. This is the only hy-vee I feel uncomfortable shopping at because of the nighttime security officer. Twice I've been there when he's there, twice he's followed me around the store and even out of the store, like I'm some sort of criminal. I will be doing my best to avoid this hyvee moving forward. Not everyone is a criminal, just doing my job also sir.

This might be the worst Hy-Vee in Omaha. Terrible organization of isles, they have nothing, their produce looks like it’s from a 3rd world country. If you shop late, the back of the store is very hard to navigate because there’s a million employees running around like crazy worker bees and there’s giant pallets everywhere. Why don’t they just stock overnight like everyone else?

The prices are out of control at Hy-Vee stores. I only shop here as a last resort if there's something other grocery stores don't have sometimes the Hy-Vee will have it.

Some of the nicest and friendliest people on the planet plus GREAT store too!!!Been shopping there for years and LOVE the cafteria, Starbucks, and variety of food and other the store offers!!! Also, the Quick Care clinic inside is GREAT and has come in handy a time or two :)

Ordered a "Designers Choice" bouquet for a funeral (I am out of state). The arrangement was beautiful, I was so pleased. The note was hand-written which I also loved. 10/10! The online ordering process was also very smooth and the flowers were delivered in good time.

Complete trash place to work, management has no clue on how to solve problems and will take money away from workers without before even attempting to fix problems or mistakes and will punish everyone for the actions of 1 or 2.

The customer service department needs an overhaul or at least a refresher on how to treat a customer. The gentleman working there (Rick?). Should be the first in line. If you hate your job that much move on to something else.

Had to do an Instacart return. Hy-Vee should have this figured out but they had no idea. Spoke with a Instacart rep and he said to keep the order. Hy-Vee disagreed which was fine but as I was in the chat trying to sort things out before giving the groceries back I was surrounded by employees and the manager Corbyn even threatened me with security. I told him I was only trying to figure out Instacart since they told me to keep the groceries. He was very impatient and to me as a leader handled the situation very poorly. I don’t feel comfortable coming back to the store to Instacart let alone shop.

Nice store. There was a girl working there that was deaf. I was so happy. I'm hard of hearing. We talked (via ASL). She was so happy to see another person she could talk with. And, be able to assist me in finding what I was looking for.

I went to purchase some chicken at 8 pm today (6/3) and needed some help worth custom cuts which is supposedly open till 9 pm and reconfirmed the timings again with the staff there. And I was told that even though the timings is till 9 pm they are closing early @ 8 pm today and they won’t be able to cut it, even though there were 3-4 folks available. And this is not the first time that has happened here in this branch. If they are going to close it at 8 pm, atleast make it consistent so that the customers can plan accordingly. No customer obsession and very poor customer service.

Updating review to 4*. Love the bakery. My wife and I love buying bread from the bakery because the Asiago loaf is awesome, and the service there is fantastic. Unfortunately had a customer service incident with some goods we bought where the goods had been tampered with and box was empty we found when got home. We did end up getting resolved though after a few phone calls - store manager was very helpful and his response and the marketing team response eventually was very good.

Whoever is in charge of stocking frozen vegetables at this location, I don’t know what they are doing. For 5 years this location is nearly completely empty of frozen vegetables. Tried going different days of the week, different times, but nope, always empty. So I’ve started to drive further away to the 180th and Pacific location, and it is night and day, the difference in what they have stocked. It’s incredible. This Welch plaza location will randomly stop stocking other stuff too. 1% milk of Fairlife brand? Nope, not anymore, but they have 2% still. Beef broth? Suddenly shows no longer available at this location when you use the app for pickup or delivery.Overall I don’t know what they are doing at this store, but it is terrible inventory management.

Hy-Vee is our favorite grocery store. We prefer it over the others because of freshness and, mostly, value. I can tell the things that they charge a premium on to account for their cents off gas program, which is why I can't rate 5 stars. We don't buy gas their, but we help supplement their discount program. At any rate, they have an above decent beef counter and they go out of their way for the customer. Love this place.

My last visit i got grapes that ended up being sour, strawberries that had mold on them after one day and when i tried to check out 2 items that were on sale came up with the wrong price. Im not planning on going back.

Really horrible service. We don't blame the individual pharmacists or staff but Hy-Vee has them way understaffed. My wife has called the pharmacy 5 times in the last 48 hours and can't get thru. Line is 10 people deep. Having to wait days for an antibiotic is simply not acceptable. This isn't a one time thing either. Had this same experience repeatedly with this location. We'll be moving all of our business to a different pharmacy.

This HyVee seems to be limited on there stocking options. 144th has more. The pharmacy always busy, never have you prescription ready even after they let you know it is ready. They still carry things you can't get else where. Does great when you are in a pinch.
