We had the honors of meeting Janelle Peterson and Spencer Bayless with Goodwill when they visited our networking group. We were amazed at all the wonderful things they are doing for our community. They are more than a store and donation center and even provide on the job training and offer free programs! Bonus: they're opening another location in Elkhorn, NE!

This Goodwill was AMAZINGLY organized! All the products were in reasonable places and nothing didn't seem to where it wasn't supposed to be! This is an amazing place to shop at, like most Goodwills. Customer's are friendly, and service is nice! Thank you, Goodwill!

Very friendly staff! I come here often and I am always greeted immediately and treated with respect. A lot of retail stores and fast food chains could learn a thing or two about customer service from your team. The items are a bit overpriced but the atmosphere makes up for it.

Prices are so high. Some are more than equivalent items brand new. These items were all donated so why so high!!!

Great place for super discounted merchandise. Items are displayed/housed in large bins. Merchandise is sold by the pound! For the most part, each bin has a very general theme like clothing, outdoorsy items, or household. The bins were rotated, fresh for picked over, about once an hour. And they rotated about 6 bins at a time. Everyone from the employees to the customers were super friendly and helpful. It was a great experience all around.

My mom and I stopped in yesterday and found a few items. One in particular was a medium sized glass jar with a price sticker on the bottom of 2.99. At checkout the cashier (a slim, bald older man) rang it up as 7.99. When we put it in the cart we didn’t notice there was another price sticker on the back side of the jar. My mom showed him the sticker on the bottom ( both were Goodwill price stickers and both looked “fresh” meaning neither appeared worn or older than the other), but he shrugged her off and said, “I don’t know where that’s from it’s not our sticker, this is 7.99”. WOW. I’m not sure how it got there, either, but I think the lower price should’ve been honored since both were on it and were clearly NEWLY attached. If they are going to “reprice” items, either remove old tags or at least cover with a different tag. We had him take the item off instead of calling for a manager since there was a line, but if he’s the manager I think he needs customer service training.

I was at the store 10 mn before closing I grabbed two items and head to the cashier around 6:59 I paid then on my out I spotted something that I was glancing at for a very brief time not planning to buy and this elderly lady at the door start loudly screaming…I literally mean loud screaming ! Wow what a rude individual…..I won’t be back . Go find a different job !

Visit this store today. Very friendly cashiers (I didn’t catch her name, she had yellow eye shades- very friendly), their manager seems a little short tempered, but I don’t think she works with the customers much. Great selection of items and they are a bit pricier than in other locations but they do seem to be better quality and many name brands.

I get that it’s Christmas Eve and they probably wished they weren’t open/working, but I stopped in here around 1:40 today. As I walk in the door, a girl (I didn’t get a good look but I think she was mud-20”s with reddish blonde hair) is going up to a lady grabbing a cart to inform her they will be closing at 3 pm for the holiday. They lady nods and grabs the cart to shop. It’s not even 2 pm yet. No exaggeration: EVERY 5 minutes until I left (about 30 minutes later), the girl gets on the PA system to announce they will be closing at 3 pm and how many minutes are left. Literally EVERY 5 minutes. Another customer actually said to me, “Ok, we get it, you’re closing at 3 pm now let us shop in peace!” I nodded and said, “How to kick people out without actually kicking them out”. Obnoxious. I wish I caught a better description or a name tag because that was by far uncalled for.

Prices are high for what's in store. A lot of stuff would need cleaned, fixed up, or painted. Multiple broken things on the shelves. TONS of clothes and denim. Store itself is clean, staff is nice.

I used a broken table leg to womp my Ex-wife a couple dozen times, a few miles out of town. I simply cleaned it up a bit, screwed it back in, and dropped the table off the next day. The people who helped me get it out of my truck were very kind. One of them (after a little conversation) told me about a great bar down the road. I probably won't ever come back, but it was a smooth and pleasant experience.10/10 good business model

I source at multiple goodwill locations in Omaha and this is one of my weekly trips for the last few years. I shop weekly at goodwill, I love places with random things and finding things. This location specifically has really change through the years so I have decided not to donate to this one nor shop. This location prices have not only spiked but inventory stays long due to pricing. Nothing really new and not a lot of selection. I’ve notice this location has fewer donations due to most likely their prices, no one wants to donate to a so call nonprofit selling items as if they purchased them to resell. I personally feel goodwill corporate needs to stand back and take a good look at what they are doing and what they stand for because that has fallen out of sight. They have extremely underpaid employees so where is all the money going to? This specific location has about 3 very nice employees everyone else is extremely nasty. The sweet short redhead lady, the blonde long hair lady and their 2 manager are the best but everyone else is so so rude. There’s a bigger lady with shirt a men’s hair cute that won’t even looks at u while checking u out and throw all ur things in the bags carelessly. The older guy that works there seems as if he has been released from a halfway house and he literally put his hand on my chest to push me with my child holding my hand standing in front of both of us and screaming right in face pulling his mask down indicating we came in through the exit door and would not let us continue walking and tried to kick us out. I confronted the manager and she said she would handle it. One of the younger girls who seems to have a mental medical condition is very in “in your space” she will step right in front of u touching you even take ur cart with ur purse in it and force it out of the way. I don’t think she understands that some people find that uncomfortable, but it is. This “nonprofit” needs to remember they are a nonprofit and stop trying to be a resell store acting like they purchased these items to resell for profit. They have to do better or goodwill will be no more. They have not only lost my business but have donations to continue to do business. It’s a two way street and I don’t think they get that concept. We will now only do business with locally owned thrift with great prices and great and happy employees. This is unacceptable at this point

This Goodwill is so classy that I almost forget I'm in a thrift store. It's clean, well organized and the donated merchandise is always in really nice condition. To put it in perspective, we've bought games and puzzles here multiple times and NONE of the pieces are missing.

Expensive! They have $100 on a children's bicycle that you can buy at Walmart for $80. Most of the other stuff in the store you can go buy a new for a couple dollars more, if not cheaper.

I don’t know why the cashiers at this place act like you are doing them an inconvenience. I have been here 3 times since October and every time I have been here the person who has rang me up has been exceptionally rude. Doesn’t say hello, doesn’t even look at you. At the end of my transaction I said a simple “thank you” and this man literally ignored me completely. The same issue happened with an older lady cashier in late December. Thought it was just a fluke but since this is my third terrible experience i thought I’d say something. Bottom line is: if your employees are miserable individuals, they should not be working in the front part of a retail store interacting with people. Or maybe find a different job that you don’t look like you hate every second of your life so far.

Worst experience I've ever had a Goodwill in my life. the cashier was so rude and so irritated that she had to check us out she wouldn't even make eye contact didn't say hello to us didn't say have a nice day made a snotty comment and that was it didn't even tell me what my total was just told me to swipe my card that's the only thing she said to me

I will never love another goodwill like i love this one. But i cant forgive it for what it did. Not only did it destroy my trust but it made it harder for me to ever love another goodwill agian. I hope goodwiIl and my best friends are happy together. I wont be in either of their lives anymore.

I am disabled and the manager of the R plaza location spat on me and called me a disgusting gimp in front of my family will never shop here again I suggest everyone else to do the same. I made it 5 stars so people can see this....

Nice, organized store. Staff should follow the customary 3 ft rule when out on the floor and engage with customers instead of avoiding eye contact or interaction.

OVERPRICED!!!!!! Staff is wonderful. But someone up above them is forcing the higher prices. Probably to pay the higher ups in Goodwill their large salaries. This store as like others Goodwills in Omaha has lost sight to the Goodwill Mission. I suggest finding a locally owned consignment shop for clothing and a locally owned thrift or second hand shop for household items. I will also stop donating my items to Goodwill knowing that the less fortunate can not afford to shop there. I will look for a nonprofit that is really working at helping the less fortunate.

The 180th and Q store is always neat and clean. The staff unlike other stores are kind and friendly. I drive across town to visit that store weekly.
