Tried Gandolfo's for the first time and it was delicious! Had the egg, bacon, and american cheese, breakfast sandwich on a kaiser roll. The wait wasn't long but they also weren't very busy. The chocolate mousse cake was good too but I don't think it was something I'd personally order again.

Great sandwich shop. I had the Club Met, which had plenty of ham, turkey and roast beef with provolone cheese. The menu is extensive and reasonably priced. Nice place to grab a bit of NYC.

I had such high hopes when friends recommended we go here. I was the first to arrive and 3 people at one table and the rest of the restaurant was empty. The tables and benches were filthy and the other tables needed to be wiped down. Drink station was dirty and trash from straw wrappers all over the top. The two people there Friday Dec 29th at 1:00pm were just chatting- not keeping the place clean.Ordered our lunch and 2 got sandwiches and 1 got a chicken salad-salad. I have never eaten chicken salad that was runny with blue cheese. It was gross!If your specialty is a New York style sandwich- stick to that and not designer foods.I won’t be back.

It's a nice clean place .... I ordered a pastrami customized to my style california style I added pastrami with mustard and pickles.... The taste was amazing can't compare to my california style but it does the job I loved it it's pastrami is juicy and has good flavor... This was the perfect brunch of the day ...you guys made my day very recommend 10/10 loved it. 💕 so far the best in omaha nebraska

Very tasty. Heat ratio of bread and meat. Bread was soft and meat was juicy and hot. Tried the Rockefeller Reuben and the I ❤️ New York sandwiches. Service was fast and friendly.

These employees are unfriendly and incompetent. This was my second time here. The first was a disaster but I decided to give them another shot. I asked for no oil and vinegar and still got it. I paid extra to have turkey and roast on it. I went back to have it remade due to the oil and vinegar and then they left out the roast beef I paid extra for. I'm not going back a third time. I am just never going back again. Pickelmans it is from now on. They get it right every time

We really enjoyed this place. It is definitely a New York style deli. We originally had the breakfast and was thrilled to see they have it all day. The bread is tasty and the combination of meat and fixing is amazing. I think we counted over 60 combinations. If you like a New York style deli, this is your place.

I went in there to just get a drink, and they have Nats, or some type of flying bugs coming out of the trash cans, 1 by the door, and 1 by the pop machine. It grossed me out won't be back. I won't be ording food from there either. Sorry but the amount of bugs coming out of the trash can make me wonder about the food.

My friend and I were disappointed in our sandwiches. They lacked any flavor and were dry despite having additional oil and vinegar. The cold cut quality seemed poor and in small pieces. The sandwich was mostly made of bread which had the texture of glue. For $15 you would expect a sandwich to be plump with ingredients and not so anemic. Avoid.

Exceeded all my expectations, just driving through Omaha and was wanting some type of deli sandwich. This location wasn’t far from 80, it was clean and had so many options. Would definitely recommend!

I went to the 63rd and Center location. The guy up front was so busy texting he didn't even look up at us. We were talking to him and he continued texting. We finally got his attention and placed orders. He just stared at us when we had questions. After we ate our food we needed a box. Couldn't find employees anywhere. We yelled into the back a few times. Had to leave half of my 23 dollar order. We chose not to clear our table. We went out front to smoke after and the female employee came out with our tray and rudely yelled at us for not dumping it. Never going back. The food was mediocre.

Not sure why this is 4.3 this should be above 4.5 for sure, one of the best quality meat and as a whole amazing sandwiches… it just fills yours taste buds, heart, soul and tummy!! Lol sorry being so dramatic but it’s worth it !!! All other locations are good… I have tried the one on downtown too but they closes at 3pm made us eat in the car or otherwise I would have given them a 5star review too (it’s not their fault)… but this Delicatessen chain is among the best in county !!!

I've been here 2 times, both have not disappointed. Wide selection of menu items. Breakfast sandwiches served all day. You can spend $5 or $15 on a sandwich. Premium deli meats. New York delicatessen style sandwiches. Wish there was one in my neighborhood. Instead there's a bunch of Subways.

This has become my favorite sub shop for a few reasons. The bread is SOFT & FRESH. The ingredients are PLENTIFUL. They have a huge list of sandwiches to choose from. Their oil & red wine vinegar is the perfect combo for a dressing. You can customize your ingredients. They'll even grill your onions if you don't like them raw! I don't know any other Italian sandwich shop that will do that. Every employee I ever talked to here genuinely likes their job and they're friendly to their customers. Love the Pastrami sandwiches at Gandolfos NY Deli. Cooks should actually grill bread on the griddle rather than spread oleo on bread and warm. Makes a world of crunch difference. Charging for a substitute dressing is inappropriate. Overall I go for the food not for the subpar counter help. Nice sitting area with booths and tables. Thank you.

Order is always correct (which is sometimes a challenge with other restaurants), and delicious. I have been impressed with the selection and quality of the food. We love the hero sandwiches and mac 'n cheese!! We keep going back because there are so many sandwiches we want to try. Would definitely recommend.

Prices are high for very low quality food. Upon mentioning this was our first time, the staff greeted us with a "good luck." Staff also pushed passed us to access chips in the front of the counter. The facility was clean. Probably from a lack of customers willing to pay such prices for subpar service and meh food.

i go in there almost every saturday to get my sandwich. food & service always good. tall guy in the back always working hard. a customer got rude with him today. he explained they're backed up because of CWS. she said it's not her problem. he just went back to work & had her food to her 2 minutes later & apologised for the wait. that's good customer service.

I've been a Gandolfo's customer for several years now. Not once have I had a negative experience there. The restaurant is always clean, the staff is always pleasant and welcoming, and the sandwiches are incredible! Their bread is fresh and delicious! My only wish is that there was a location closer to my home. If you can't find a sandwich you like at Gandolfo's, I just don't know what to tell you. Yum, yum, yum!!!!!

Extremely poor customer service.I asked to have all sandwiches labeled because there were multiple sandwiches that were the same but wanted different substitutions. The man at the counter assured me that they always write the sandwich type on the wrapper. The only one that was labeled was the Rueben, the most obvious of them all. They didn't read any of the instructions on the salad, and even got the wrong dressing. The guys behind the counter were not wearing gloves and I saw them touching their faces while making the food. The wait was 30+ minutes even though the website says ready in 5-10 minutes..... When I had to go back because they didn't give me an itemized receipt, I let them know this and they didn't even respond to me. What a joke! Won't be back to this location.
