I stopped in here recently, as I've just purchased a house and wanted a garden. My sister suggest I go in there. Most of the plants are mediocre at best, the house plant section looked like it was dying. It's also moderately over priced. Its ok in a pinch, but I would suggest small nurseries or maybe just a different store. I was not impressed.

They seem to carry the older plants lily of the valley, peonies, iris, today I was looking for yellow and white peonies in quart size pots but all they had was two gallons and no white iris's a $135.00 is alot for me for one peony, I will keep looking

I recently was looking for a Blue Spruce tree for my yard. The staff at Earl May was very helpful in helping me and allowing me time to select the right tree. The crew that planted the spruce was polite, neat and provided helpful hints.I appreciate the great service!

Yes, this is a boutique nursery, but it has amazing plants. That being said the place is somewhat pricey, but you usually get what you pay for and these plants are not infested with fungus or mold they take very good care of their plants. I usually come here about three times a year and I always have a pleasant experience.

The staff, specifically a delightful woman named Lynn was especially helpful even though they didn't have the plants I was hoping to purchase. She was very relatable, friendly and funny. All that anyone could hope for on a phone inquiry. Thanks again, I will be making future purchases from this store and brand.

I love Earl May! They've been around since I was a child, and they always have the best, well-stocked store. The staff is super polite and helpful, and their plants are a cut above. 🌟

Earl May certainly has a great variety of plants and products and is a wonderful time to visit. The only thing is they are probably more expensive than other alternatives, and they don’t really have more exotic varieties of certain plants.

I Iike this location. It is not too big, but still has what I need. I get succulents here in the winter and pepper plants in the summer. Prices are reasonable.Update: it has been a couple of years since I have been here. Seems to be a larger variety of plants in the building. Friendly service. My go to place for gardening supplies.

Such a lovely garden center with a cool variety of plants and planters. They're always so helpful. They suggested a specific pot for my violet and with the right tools and their advice even I was able to keep a violet alive! I appreciate how they help pot things for us as well.

Great products, but man, are they pricey there! Employees are not very friendly either. They pretty much ignore you and don't say anything even when checking out.Edit: I bumped this up a star, because the owner did respond and honestly seems concerned. I will give them another shot...

I was here looking for organic soil so my family and I could start planting our peach tree that just sprouted. The staff was knowledgeable and extremely helpful and enthusiastic about getting me what I needed. The vibe here is amazing it was my VERY first visit to Earl May, I felt comfortable and at ease when I shopped. :)

When walking in , a man says everything is 30% off, inside and out. This was not true, it was only the plants and EVERYTHING in the store is Horribly overpriced.

This is a very aesthetic shop with plenty of options for both your exterior and indoor plant needs. Some things were a little out of my price zone, especially the planters, but I did end up buying two indoor plants for $38. I also recieved a $10 off coupon for next time! I would say if you are looking for some unique indoor plants head over here, however, you can probably buy much cheaper planters at Walmart, etc. I would definitely recommend checking it out if it's nearby.

I purchased over $2,000 in landscaping from Earl May in the fall of 2020 with a guarantee on shrubs if they didn’t make it in the winter. I tried calling Earl May for the first six weeks of Soring and my calls were unanswered. One day, I called and another man said they would come out to house. When he did come, he told me he would replace shrubs, I also ordered mulch that I would pay for. Now he hasn’t shown up and won’t return calls. I would never do business with these people. This is July and still no word back!!

I like buying planters/pots here usually. Their plants and the soil I use are more pricey here. I usually buy my plants and soil at other places, honestly. The employees are friendly and helpful.

My 2nd attempt at specific plants there, both times no luck. Half the inventory they did have was blown over in aisleways. What I did buy to make the stop worrh while, was outrageously overpriced. Next time I'll pass.

Great customer service as soon as you arrive , have all your garden and flower needs. Great selection of bird , bug housing. Very knowledgeable
