This is a great place to take your pet. They have done such a great job taking care of our fur babies we never have to worry about them when we travel. The staff is great they made them personalized stocking with dog cookies in them. So cute so appreciate this place.

We not only lived it, but our fur babes did too. Lots of playing, and lots of naps. As a doggie dad i always strive to find an affordable, yet worth it, experience for the pups. Of course the neighborhood, and security measures are my first things I look at.... downtown hound has it covered. Triple doors for safety, ramp access, and CLEAN!!! They have some swag if your a momento person.Staff not only gave attention to the pups, but they put our minds at ease. They played with the pups, treats, and potty time. We'll be back.

Rex loved it and was being cared for properly. I will use them again.One thing was that we asked for bath and to clip nails. No message of that was seen in there system. Also why not put a muzzle on a dog when clipping nails for short time just to get them clipped.

My two crazy Aussie girls were in desperate need of professional grooming. I dropped the ball on getting them used to grooming from someone else other than my boyfriend and I, so I was very nervous on how they would behave or if they would feel stressed! Hailey did AMAZING, not only did she groom them beautifully, she checked in with me throughout their appointments and booked out enough time to give them extra attention incase they struggled at all. My two girls are a handful but Hailey handled their high energy like a true professional. We will be back!

Downtown Hound is a great place. They have a lot of dogs in the daycare but they have very attentive workers who are constantly cleaning. When I picked my puppy up after her first visit, the young lady at the counter knew who my puppy was and was telling me all about her demeanor and how she was.Their groomer was amazing! She took time to get an idea of the style I wanted and assured me she would do what my puppy was comfortable with. When I picked her up she was gorgeous and happy! Again, the young lady at the front told me all about how she did during her grooming session.I could tell they really care about the pups and enjoy what they do.

Great place! They care about your pet and are super nice. We have a little Spaniel who is new to social situations, and they did a great job introducing her to the rest of the small dog group. Our pup played hard and slept hard during her scheduled nap!

If you own a dog that looks like a pit bull don't go to these guys. They claimed my dog was stalking other dogs. After kicking him out after 2 days they would not give me a full refund for the remaining days because of fees. I lost over 70 dollars. I strongly recommend you take your dog to PetSmart as I have had no problems at all.

They have a multiple play area for different attitudes and play styles. Even one for "fence jumpers" like our larger dog, and one for low energy or temperamental like our senior pooch.The staff is super friendly. They make it a point to learn every dog's name and personality. We even had one (Maggie?) run out to say goodbye to the dogs before loading into the vehicle.Unfortunately I can't attest to boarding or grooming as we've only used their daycare side.

We board our older kitty here while away from home and she's always well looked after. The employees are kind and the facility/accommodations are clean. As a bonus, Ilove seeing the dogs barking and running around playgrounds that are visible through large windows inside the entryway.

Since the very first day the staff has been incredible very living towards all the dogs there so helpful to answer any of my questions i can tell The work and dedication they put into these dogs is amazing I'm very picky of who gets to take care of my irish wolfhound but so far he has done incredible here we will be continuing to bring prince thanks again

We needed a place for our Sunny to play while we were visiting town and thankfully Downtown Hound came to the rescue.Everything was simple and straight forward. Be prepared with the appropriate paperwork and your experience will be fantastic!

I had my dog groomed there and it was such a cute place. All staff were friendly that I came in contact with. Hannah, the groomer did a very good job with my silky terrier puppy (who can be a handful) very cute cut and smells amazing!

I have a husky with a lot of energy and some days I don't have time to take care of him. Comes in very handy, if you have a husky you know what I mean. Never any complaints, always took good care of my dog.

Downtown Hound has been absolutely wonderful to our dog Artemis. We have nothing but great things to say about their daycare, boarding and grooming services. The daycare staff have always been professional, compassionate, communicative and have treated our dog like family. Artemis is always excited to be dropped off and we have great peace of mind during the day that Downtown Hound is taking great care of her. We have been so grateful to have a doggie daycare we trust so much!

An incredible place to take your dog for exercise/play time. I have a Shiba Inu, a notoriously difficult breed, and the Downtown Hound Crew has no issues accommodating my little troublemaker. It's a wonderful place that hires people that love your dog like it's their own. Also has great toys/treats for a pretty fair price

Poor Communication..............Due to poor communication after leaving 2 messages inquiring about the total cost and if we could board the dogs for 3 days instead of 2, no one called after 2 days. Therefore we decided to take the dogs to our regular boarding facility which is in Elkhorn totally out of the way of our stay in Dntwn Omaha. We were apprehensive about the non-returned calls as to how well the dogs would be cared for if a few minutes to return our call was not of importance the dogs may also be less than expected. Get what you pay for I suppose. We do not recommend if you expect professional communication/response times.

My dogs are seniors, and have been babied since I rescued/adopted them. I don’t know what kind of life they had before, but they’ve always been nervous of other dogs and people... Downtown Hound has cared for them numerous times over the last 5 years, and they always come back happy. I always feel guilty leaving my dogs, they’re like kids, but they seem happy every time I’ve picked them up. The prices here are nice too, and the people that work here seem to really enjoy animals. They also keep the place clean, so important for my old dogs to not catch illnesses.

The staff were friendly, but the area where the dogs were was so loud you needed earplugs. There are no outdoor areas for the dogs, so they do their business inside, which causes a foul odor as soon as you walk into the facility. This is not a place for my dog.The video tour on their website is not accurate, because they show only a few dogs getting one-on-one attention from staff. That is far from accurate. Please go there in person and ask for a tour before you book your pet's stay.

My pup is always super excited when we arrive and super happy when I come to pick him up! He loves the daycare here and it's obvious that the staff loves the dogs (and cats!).The unlimited monthly plan is expensive, but I'll keep paying it just to know that my pup is having a great time while I'm away at work!

The people there are amazing and they love their jobs! My dog is very well taken care of and I love how they know most dogs by name. The only thing I could wish was that they had an outdoor area to play but being downtown that's a limitation that comes with the territory. Overall I would definitely recommend to anyone needing a great daycare for their pup.

I have had great experience. My puppy loves it here and she can't get enough of the place. Their prices are the best around for daycare and boarding but the dogs are treated like family. The employees give my dog clothes and toys to take home. You know employees love their job when they do that for your pet. I only wish I lived closer to theme to bring my dog more often.

Was beyond angered after taking my dog to the vet today after leaving him at DTH. Not only did he come back with bite marks on his ears (and behold! a brand new habit for trying to bite other dog's ears off) we were also informed that the people who own DT Hound also own Tully's, a literal puppy mill with a history of abuse.Just to do some fact checking I went back to the better business bureaus website & matched up both businesses, love the front desk staff, hate the management and conditions inside.

I like this place very much because of their convenience and my dog's happiness level. He seems to really enjoy himself here and is now pretty well known by staff.Yet, it distresses me that one of my complaints about bringing my dog here is that he seems to get kennel cough after spending the day. It usually only last two to three days. He coughs and vomits so he loses his appetite.I do intend to to keep bringing my best bud here. I just hope that he doesn't catch anything that will make him terminally ill.

My pup started going to daycare here a few months ago and it is his favorite place to be! I can barely hold him back when we get out of the car-he's trying to get inside so fast. Staff is very friendly and I can tell how much they care for the dogs. Love this place!

They are amazing here. My dog used to go every day for months. Then she didn't go for about 6 months and the moment we walked in everyone recognized her like she was their best friend. Always feel comfortable leaving my pets hear for daycare or overnight.

I can not express how much my Bart and I love this place. Every time we pull-up Bart goes crazy because he is going to play all day with his friends furry and none furry. The staff is so friendly and very kind. My pup loves hanging out with them! I am definitely getting my money worth! If you have a pup and are looking for a day care TRY DOWNTOWN HOUND!
