the manager is very rude she even told me not to come back to the store. I asked her why I always have problems when using the coupons in that store and this is the third time that it has happened, she is very rude she is an employee, not the owner of the store and she cannot tell customers that don't come back. She is there to help costumers 😡😡😡😡😡😡

Man, I cant even begin to describe how thankful and deeply appreciative of this master general guy I am, and thank the Lord for his offerings passed down to us day after day, in the form of a dollar here, dollar there price tag that leaves all fortunate enough to experience its magic feeling hopeful, fairly treated, and maybe even a little bit guilty that we may be able to accept such grace as his general Washington expectations. AND he somehow manages to find time to sling out countless insurance coverage plans like heroin to a Chinese man who gave up chopsticks for a spoon.. Im at a true loss for words.

Dollar general has a lot of clearances on Easter decorations candy. Decorations or 75% off Easter and they're supposed to drop the price even more candy decorations this weekend.

this store was a complete disaster! there were freight carts blocking every aisle and there was no merchandise to speak on the shelvesI have since been in this store only to find a COMPLETE turn around! It's like a different place. Neat... Fully stocked shelves. Clear aisles. It was amazing! Said they are under new management. It shows😏

The staff was very helpful today! I forgot my phone to get the digital coupons. The manager remembered me as a frequent customer who uses the digital coupons and gave me the discounts! It was nice to be remembered and assisted without having to buy the products at one price and then bring my receipt back for the credit. I really appreciated the help! I'm so busy, but need to save too, so the help was greatly appreciated!

This store is huge and the cleanest DG that I have shopped in. As a traveler, DG is my go-to store in each state. This by far has been the cleanest with most stocked items.

About a week ago while shopping at Dollar General on Ames Ave., I was assisted by a very kind worker name Joy. Even though she was apparently busy doing two jobs simultaneously, she still calmly and patiently addressed my needs. This really made my day because I was not having such a good one. I thanked her for her kindness and left, not knowing I had forgot my receipt and of course here comes Joy coming to my car reminding me by bringing it to me with a big smile.

Dollar General would always be my store but the prices are going up rapidly. I may have to drive to Dollar Tree nakimg it my store. Even with gas prices today I would still save more there. Store on North Ames is so cluttered and they say it has been renovated when inside it looks condemned. The shelves are never stocked, product all in boxes for months now. They need to pay well and hire help to get shelves stocked. Customer Service good.

Dollar general is generally a nice store. They are organized very well and its easy to find what you need if they carry it. They have an awesome toy section! My kid loves it there!

Ione day I was here a men ask the cashier if she can turn the music off because of the cussing and profanity and ask if she can play something more professional because they where kids in the store he wasn't telling her nothing wrong, long story short she kept the music play, he was trying to be nice. And the light skin lady with short mid hair she needs working on, she must be having relations with the bald headed men, cause boy he can't he even say hi,, lol carry on

I give the cashier's highest of high fives! My son just moved into his new apt, so we chose Dollar General to stock him of basic necessities, they were awesome and patient, BUT the dirty looks we got from the people behind us was not acceptable. So I'm complaining about the people in line behind us. So thank you Dollar general employees for being kind! I appreciate you!!!

This location usually has high traffic during business hours. It seems they are often unprepared. There's usually only one cashier which makes my visit quite long. Going to get a simple item can turn into a drawn-out experience

Cashier NEEDS to have more patients and be more focus on one patron at a time if the cashier NEED help call for help don't try to rush the customer. I spent damn near 70$ and I don't want no mistakes. Train your cashiers better. To be more friendly greet the customer and slow down. Yeah I said IT!!!!

I have been there several times, but 9/10/18 I went there and as I walked to the counter one employee said, "she" can help you, but it'll be a minute and walked away. Another 2 were behind me as I stood waiting, counting stock or something. No one ever stopped what they were doing to help me so I left what I wanted to buy on the counter and left the store. Very rude. They all need some serious customer service training. It wouldn't have took either one less than 2 minutes to ring me up, but I guess what they were doing was more important than a customer. If I go back it won't be anytime soon.

Always well stocked and clean. Never disappointed but lines do get Long from school dismissal til after dinner . Say 4-7pm so if you can shop early.

I enjoy the employees! Prices are decent for the area. The selection on hair products is well enough to save a bit of money in comparison to shopping at a beauty surplus.

They're out of stock lot of items but that being said the employees were very nice the manager was extremely nice because I feel to get my quota so I can get a $5 rebate and afterwards you I realized that I didn't have my quota so the manager wrote down on my receipt to that one next time I come back in I can get my $5 rebate

Man I love this store. When you get snacks here, you have a deal. And you know that when it's cheaper and you know that it tastes better! (The chocolate is also really really good) I inhaled mine lol!

I love the Dollar General it's a pretty cool place to come when you want to buy gifts for kids or for your wife or for your girlfriend or for your boyfriend or whoever you like. The Dollar General has always been a great place to shop and get things cheap.

Price mt dew was just right. 3 for ten. Than store changed it to 3 for 9 when you use the app. Save a dollar at register. Save 6.00 because the price at Walmart is about 5.00Dg was 3.33 when you are on a fixed income.You shop where the price is lower for the product you need.

It was horrible. There was a coupon out for some Kool Aid Jammers for a buck and the manager and the Cashier was really rude, ripped me off for a dollar and when i called and complained i had asked for their names and they hung up.

The Store is ok and needs to be updated like the one over south the employees are nice but that manager he has a very nasty attitude and feels he can talk to people and treat them any kind of way other than him it's a good store
