Real good selection, considering the size and really good price considering the location. It’s a great urban bodega. However, there’s no real good parking. I had a park about a block and a half down the street so perfect for a quick pick up but not for your monthly grocery store shopping.

I forgot a few items on a business trip to Omaha. A short walk from the hotel to the DGX for some necessities. They didn't have a wide selection, but they did have exactly what I needed. Staff were friendly and helped me find what I needed.

DGX is an excellent addition to downtown omaha. We very much needed a grocery store. DGX was Dollar General but for downtown location. They had everything you would want in a downtown grocery store and prices were all reasonable.

I was in town for a few days so decided to try this place since it was down the street from our hotel. The first night it was great we ordered online and picked picked up the food no problem. It was good so we decided to get it again. places the order online again and the food was supposed to be ready at 7:28 we arrived at 7:38 and no one was at the front so I waited for about 5 minutes while a gentleman just walked around and ignored me. Finally another guy came out and I had to flag him down. I told him I was picking up an order. When I told him my name he gave me my receipt to sign and said it would be another 5-7 minutes since it was so hectic there. Mind you there were 3 tables of people and 2 people sitting at the bar. I would hate to see how bad the service would be if they were actually busy. They finally brought the food out at 7:43. I won’t be returning. Way too many other places in the city.

Good location and selection, but check dates on everything you want to buy!!Had to go through every single ibuprofen bottle on the rack to find ONE that wasn't expired yet, and even then it was due to expire next month.

I am almost always able to think of a reason to visit DGX anytime I am Down Town. It is a rare week when I do not shop here at least once.Best hours. Staff is helpful and alert. Clean store. Often busy, but not crowded.

This is a long awaited grocery/everything you need store in the downtown area. It is well stocked, the service is great, the store is clean, the shelves are filled with variety. You don't need to search any further...DGX store is just around the corner. I love it! I go there all the time for groceries, and my multivitamins. 👍🏽

I had a gift card that was old and the manager was extremely helpful and friendly.Also, the store has a surprisingly great variety of products for a smaller size store. And the prices were not all jacked up because of convenience. They kept the Dollar General value but added the ""express". VERY NICE!

Popped into this DG this morning to check out if it’s really as good as reported.It is.I have shopped DG stores in several states. I usually find them well stocked, moderately clean and with boxes of of merch waiting to be stocked. The staff feels hurried and disinterested.This store is a refreshing upgrade. Shelves look great and the store feels bright and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back.

I waited for 10 minutes while they we changing paper out which they were having problems with. They didn't say a word to me about it. Just looked at me then looked away. Then finally when I went to pay for my soda their was no apology for the time I had to wait to pay for one soda. Nothing, not a word. Just feel they could have been a little more communicative about the situation.

It's basically a dollar general store, just smaller. Sadly Omaha's does not have fresh produce or pre-made salads as others do across the country. With luck they will add this. That's the only reason for my 3 stars and not a 5. Was disappointed when I went to get ingredients for a sandwich.

Hi I live in downtown Omaha Nebraska and my experience with DGX I think that they should have a change of merchandise so we don't have the same old merchandise to choose from store all the time in the store downtown store we need more Nebraska t-shirt more Nebraska hats sandals, house shoes.
