The previous owner was already terrible and getting over on our community, now there's new owners and they're 10xs worse and even more greedy. I wish people that don't respect our community would stop setting up shop in our neighborhoods and building their generational wealth off of our backs!!! They don't respect us and they're just plain greedy!!!

This place close at 10. I come all the way from Blair to purchases meat bundles. It's 5:20pm. They tell me nobody can help me. SMH. The meat man went home.Ok. Never again. Next time I'll take the drive over south. Least I know the meat markets open During peak hours. I just left my basket of unprurchased Items right there. KEEP IT!

They have the best prices on meats during this trying time. I even found turkey necks. I recently moved to Omaha Nebraska. 11-20- 22 Went back yesterday & the employee named Toya was an absolute gem. She was very helpful & polite.

I alway drive the 86 miles to purchase turkey wings from chubbs. On this occasion I bought 6 packs of turkey wings and two sodas and 4 2 for a $1.00 cheese puffs. My total was around $57.00. Didn’t think nothing of it until I drove omelets and was putting my stuff up and noticed I was charged $39.93for 1 pack which should have been $3.93. Called spoke to the manager and was told I have to come back so they could fix it. Smh make sure you check your receipts before you leave the store…

Chicken is crispy but sometimes crust is salty and mashed potatoes w/gravy is really good. Fries are great Biscuits are dry. Overall it's still worth getting, if you have a taste for it. Customer service is quick.

I go here for certain things no one else has. I have bought a lot of their statues. Great on Christmas day. You know you always forgot something. Have a lot of meats you can't get anywhere else. Have a lot of Southern items. Their sale prices are great but as far as just groceries....very high. It is not a clean store. Alcohol is cheap. Name brand Cigarettes are high as hell. But still go and get the things I like. 😊

Horrible place. I returned some watered down dish soap that apparently somebody had returned previously and filled it halfway with water and Chubbs put it back on the shelves. Which wasn't noticeable until I tried to use it. I was grilled about returning this one dollar bottle of watered down detergent and told I can't have my original receipt back even though I have other items on it. I made them return it. Then they seemed put out because they had to put it back on my MasterCard . Customer service woman had the nerve to ask me who did I speak to when I previously called about the water down dish soap. Then a seemingly drunk cashier ask me ,,"I wonder why you didn't notice it when you bought it? ".This is a horrible place. It is the White Clay liquor store of North /East Omaha the only service they're promoting is alcohol/ beer sales. Won't be back.

I forgot how much I loved this store. Since moving out of North Omaha 5 years ago I hadn't been back to Chubb's, so when I needed oxtails recently I ran up there. This store has a great meat department, and the fresh produce is high quality as well. They sell a lot of products and brands that I don't really see in the Bellevue stores, so I loaded up. I'll definitely be back.

I used to work as a security guard here. I'm telling you, if you want a good laugh because of the crazy things you might see, or if you just wanna go buy liquor, this place is a good visit. Just a heads up - always look at the expiration dates on the edible items..

This chubbs is perfect. It serves a very localized demographic so what you see in the store is what the nearby locals buy. It's not a typical chain grocery store by any means. The prices are good and the service is great. The people working here are very helpful but non corporate so the local flavor is maintained ... I recommend this place.

High priced! i only go for meat bundles have good deals on meat!! Everthing else over priced a gallon of milk 3.95 a half gal is 3.00?! Need more help checking out workers take there time. Some are rude! Carry out guys are a little creepy i told them i dont need help had my son with me for a reason, anyway he wouldn't let go of cart followed us out the store and watched us as if i was going to still the cart, i even told him i would bring the cart in no need to come out long story short it was creepy experience!!

I have never been to more if an unprofessional place in my entire life! The cashier was attempting to fight some man cussing f*** every other word the manager allowed her to stay on after all of that. I was a manager for a long time and never would an employee get a way with acting that way and still have a job! Especially with other customers around.

They have some of the best snacks even sodas that are as low as $0.20. It's a good stop on the way to the airport or from the airport which is right over the tracks. However the area is very rough lock your doors and clutch your purse

They have the best prices for alcohol and meat, especially pork.BE VERY CAREFUL about purchasing any food that has an EXPIRATION DATE.You'll waste your money and your time. Maybe even question your booze, and animal cuts.

Horrible. Can't bag stuff correctly. Staff are rude. Security a joke. Prices are really high spend 20 dollars there and you barely get anything. Everything they sale is at bakers for 2 to 3 dollars less. The only reason they get away with charging so much is because there's no other grocery store in this neighborhood

I stopped here on my vacation from California to grab some steaks to barbecue and a few things they had all the good meat locked up. I couldn't get any service. There was a bunch of thugs hanging out in the parking lot playing rap music with their pants halfway down. I wouldn't suggest this place for anyone

They may have good prices on meat. But the fact that there are far to many Pan handlers hanging out, drug dealers hanging out, people wanting a hand out, is a huge problem...

Chubb's is a great store and has very friendly employees and cheap prices in alot if things. But it is becoming really frustrating when going over to the store around 9:00-9:30 pm and the stores are locked and the store hours are 7:30am- 10:00pm.

I would think that a grocery store serving a lower middle class neighborhood would have low prices because the majority of the people in this neighborhood are below the poverty level, but not Chubbs. Almost everything that they sell is overpriced and you can find lower prices at No Frills or Bakers. The meats that they offer are cheap because its not quality meat at all. Their selection of food is very limited and there is always someone in The parking lot begging for change and cigarettes. They do have a pretty low price for alcoholic beverages, which is why there is a line formed outside of the store every morning before they open. The last thing that this neighborhood needs is a liqour store considering that there are 3 stores that sell liquor within a 3 block radius including Chubbs. I feel bad for people that don't have cars and are confined to the neighborhood because they are getting ripped off by Chubbs. I have lived in this neighborhood for the last 5 years but I have the capability of traveling to grocery stores in other areas to avoid Chubbs high prices. I would not do my grocery shopping at Chubbs unless I had no choice.

I let myself be coerced into performing an early morning booze run for a couple of my neighbors. Chubbs is the nearest full service grocery store to Siena Francis House. Known for generous meat 🍖🥓 bundles & cheap liquor, it is an inevitable destination for anyone ambulatory in the area. It was my good fortune to have as cashier a pert, perky lady of a certain age whose competence was exceeded only by her amiability. When I confessed confusion about my bunky's request -- he explained with visual aids & I know what shooters are -- her solution was elegant: one of each. El Primo gave me a third of them. Tall Chief, my other client, defrayed the cost of the gin I got myself. When I returned, scant minutes remained before the dormitory closed. We made a toast. Altogether I declare this crepuscular perambulation a grand opening of the first day of the rest of my blessed life.

I live 600 feet away from this place. Its dingy, dirty, and overpriced, but it's the only thing can remotely close to me, so I have to go there, and I go there everyday. I see the employees interact socially with every customer but me, whom they treat with a very poor attitude, when they acknowledge me at all.
