Absolutely the worst service I have ever had a experience with was rescheduled 5 times and never even had my service hooked up technician lied and said they visited my home and never did highly recommend that anyone looking for internet go with t-mobile as you get internet that day and the modem is free this company is a absolute joke and honestly should just file bankruptcy

Customer Service is awful. Bill pay is down, so I had to send in via mail. They haven't processed it in over three weeks. I call and have to give my information to an automated service. Then get passed to a real person and start over with my information, then get passed to someone else and start over with my information. No one at Centurylink owns a problem. I just get passed from one person to another. I'm desperately looking for another phone service.

Impossible to find any buildings in Bellevue nebraska. Customer service will connect you to numbers that hang up on you. Only good way is email, don't bother calling them for anything.Internet was ok though

Century Link has no such thing as customer service. You can call but you’ll be waiting forever until you are disconected.If you use their on-line service the same thing happens. You’ll be on hold for an hour and then disconected.Find another internet company. Not Century Link.

I wanted basic info for internet. After staying my needs repeatedly, the sales pitches for locking it in and up selling wouldn't stop.All I needed was internet in an already wired home to have a modem activated ASAP. But it takes 3 to 5 days to provision a modem I would buy at a retailer?It didn't make sense to me, and he would give more information without trying 5 more times to add TV, despite me saying I don't need or want TV services.

The salesmen that go door to door on 24th St. In Omaha are so annoying and pushy that I wouldn't even begin to consider service thru century link again. The same "man" pounded on my door for almost 5 minutes after 8pm and then again the next day trying to force me to make a payment and get service thru them. He kept telling me I could use ANYONES card to make a payment to start service AFTER I already told him no MULTIPLE times. Then the next day he came back pounding on my door over and over until someone answered- AGAIN trying to MAKE me make a payment.

I have had horrible interactions with Century Link. Most notably the two salesmen that just beat on my door. After I calmed my dog and opened the door, I asked who they were with. Once I realized it was Century Link, I politely stated no thank you. They then began to rudely inform me that if I have Cox cable that I’m being ripped off. I stated that my services are not their business. They aggressively in demeaning manner tried to sway me. I had to ask them to please get off my property. Even then they were hesitant to give up. I had to walk away and shut the door. Century Link, please stop having people randomly knock on doors. Thank you!

I have lived in 6 different states so far and CenturyLink is the worst internet provider I have ever seen. Two of their sales man knocked our door twice in one day and almost begged me to choose their service over my current provider. One week with their service and suddenly I lost connection. After numerous calls to their customer service and hours on phone, they told me there is an outage in my area. It turned out it was a lie and there is no outage. They offered to send a technician later next week which could cost me 85$. Charging me for their faulty equipments. I don’t know how am I suppose to work from home without internet for more than a week.I wish there was ZERO STAR option.

I would rather live under a rock with no internet than ever have to deal with Century Link ever ever EVER again. Kissed $300 goodbye for 2 weeks of internet before it went out and a technician was never sent. Ended up going with Cox and was still being charged. Just don't

Worst company ever been waiting 6 days for internet line to be fixed called everyday got different answers everyday now I have to wait 2 more weeks for new line to be put in. Unbelievable waste of is time customerservice waste of time I've had 2 techs out and they both said I need a new line. This happens every couple months for the last 5 years So now they are going to send out 3rd tech out tomorrow. Not once have they said the would compensate my account for missed days . I'm a stockholder and my wife gets a penison from this company and I'm really embarrassed to have any ties to this company

First of all, I never had any issues with the ACTUAL service. I had an (am HAVING an) issue getting charged for equipment I've sent back.I had the Prism services and Internet for a little over a year and a half. After getting a Firestick and having Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime to stream shows, I decided to cancel the Prism service and just upgrade my internet speed. Long story short, after sending back my equipment months ago, I am still being charged for it. I have called 5 separate times and explained this and each time, the customer service rep has said they would notate my account and take the charges off....and 5 separate times those charges have shown back up within a couple weeks.I'm currently on hold with them this very second for the SIXTH time. Hopefully we get it resolved this time around??? We'll see. *eye roll emoji*UPDATE: 2 weeks later, STILL having the same problem. I hate this company passionately.

I have had a TERRIBLE experience so far and I have only been with them for a month. They promised me one price and its $25 more when I got my bill and they said that the salesman must have missed a couple of charges before he quoted me my price. I tried to get out of the contract because I didn't sign up for a that payment and they said they will not allow me to get out of it. TERRIBLE Service, TERRIBLE Experience I would never refer them to anyone ever. They cut wires in my backyard for the Dish that I was using previously, but they didn't know if I was still going to use them or not. Once they cut all the Dish wires they threw them in my yard so my dogs could go out and chew on them. Not 1 good thing to say about Centurylink

Possibly the worst experience I've had with a business. For starters I got their gig service and I've never got more than 250mbps. They blame my $250 gig rated router that's light years better than their router modem combo. Then they show up unannounced and bury my line months after I signed up. I called CS because a neighbor saw people digging in our backyard. CenturyLink CS couldn't tell me if it was their contractors or not. We later realized that their contractor, Telcom Construction hit our sprinkler line and left without saying anything or leaving a note. I had to call CenturyLink and repotit which then made me waste another 30 mins calling their claims department. Nothing happened so I called Telcom directly and an inspector came out who said many things were done wrong. Telcom sent another contractor Fox Construction out to fix it and they clearly had no idea how to fix a sprinkler line. They used puddy and a wrong pipe and left so we again days later had water spraying everywhere. They also screwed up our landscaping edgi g stone, rocks and grass. 40 days later they keep wanting to come back and given it another try. Today 5/13/19 we lost internet around 1130a. I called at 12 and was told we're in an outage and it should be fixed by 6pm. It's now 10p and no internet. They're now saying they expect a fix by 1pm tomorrow. My wife relies on internet for a home business and we rely on internet to monitor our young daughters baby camera which is not working because of CenturyLink. If you ever need to call their CS their agents have no clue what they're doing nor can they comprehend then issues you're trying to explain to them. I heard nothing but horrible first hand experiences from friends with CenturyLink link but figured if I was getting gig service it'd be different. Wow was I wrong. CenturyLink is a joke. Said your time and money and go with another company

If I could give 0 stars I would! This is the worst company out there!! The service is the WORST! Customer service is ever crappier, you get different answers about everything, no matter on the phone or on chat. So happy to be switching to Cox. I'll GLADLY pay a little more for WAY BETTER service!!

One of the worst WiFi experiences in my entire life. The ONLY reason they’re still in business is because Cox decided to data cap. Otherwise Century Link would’ve been SOL. The have NO business dealing in WiFi and honestly DO NOT sign with them. You could get better WiFi out of a potato

I guess you get what you pay for. It is cheap but you also lose internet probably every 15 minutes. Cox is expensive but we'll be switching because it sucks when youre taking an exam and get kicked out 4 times because you lost internet then it looks like youre cheating.

Set an appointment for between10-2 for new service..no one ever showed up. Called customer service and they had the appointment but no answers.. transferred me to a tech, they barley spoke English and had no answers..what a horrible experience..at least we don't have to sign up with them. If a tech shows up I feel sorry for them .because we are gonna waste their time as they did ours.DO NOT THINK THIS IS A GOOD CHOICE OR ITS YOUR FAULT.

Been with them for 13 months then when transferring to new address the tech guys keeper pushing n pushing to screw things so badOn the 09-23/24/27/28-2021 I finally said screw this been without internet n phone for 1 whole month I closed down my account enough was enough finally I had lost my temperature over just getting me installed
