This is one of the most ghetto unprofessional bakers I’ve ever been to. I went to their customer service three times and they were never open. They are supposed to be open until 9 PM. I asked the manager if there was someone else who can help out at first he said no. Asking if he could help, he rolled his eyes and begrudgingly said yes. As I was getting my help, he had an attitude the whole time his name was Jquann. Before I could put my belongings away, he was asking the next guess what they needed And rushing me out. They do not have to worry about. Me ever coming here again. Baker is a dying store they need to work on their customer service.

I've shopped here on and off for years. More recently I've started to notice the pricing when I go to actually purchase the items is often different than the price on the shelf (always more expensive by a dollar or two). This just happened with salt (2.99 on shelf, 3.99 on checkout) and I had to go grab the printed price sticker from the shelf to show the cashier? If it was once in a while I'd be inclined to assume it's a mistake. I now wholly believe it is intentional maleficence. I really hate the added step of making sure I'm not getting ripped off at the checkout.

This place is usually good. Except for one specific guy that works here, but I've not seen him run the self checkout in a while. I suspect that's a coincidence.

I went there the day before Thanksgiving, at 11:30am. You'd expect insanity, right? Lines down the aisles and no elbow room? Not so! Yes, the parking lot was full (but still not horrible), but once inside, there were helpful employees everywhere. I mean, everywhere! One of the products I wanted, wasn't on the shelf, and an employee went in back and brought out 2 cases for me! Very pleased with the service! Then, at checkout, every single checkstand was open, and the line was only 2 people deep. And the cashier was in a good mood. Great experience, all around. On what could have been one of the worst grocery store days of the year, they were shining stars.

Horrible service. Don't care about their customers. Without fail, the store has one of the two multi self service areas closed, resulting in a mess of a mob waiting to check out. If your business model is to chase people to Hyvee, well played.

Always go to this place and have a nice shopping here. Today I left my cellphone on the cart. It's a raining day. The Bakers employees found my phone and took care of it. When I back to the store, they carefully check with me and finally return it to me. They are professional and helpful! Thanks~

Place in disarray. Carts of merchandise in aisles - hard to get through. Couldn't find a certain item as box bottoms with can goods on them were sticking out of shelves.

Friendly staff. Great savings on sale items. I would give them five stars if they would open up both self check-out areas during peak times to prevent the long wait in lines

I have been coming here for over a decade and the experience has fallen through the floor. They cut back hugely on checkout employees, things are constantly not in stock, and prices keep climbing up and up. Can't say how much this is attributed to the chain or this store in particular but it is sad to see how abysmal this location i once loved has become.

PROS: Nice employees and one of the best cheese sections I've seen (although a bit small)CONS: Very old looking (not in the good way), the aisles are extremely small, were out of some products, not enough cashiers to check out, the self checkout is bad due to it's antitheft system

We went to Starbucks today and the service was terrible, they were not friendly, also the wait was too long, we asked for a hot pistachio coffee option and it was not possible (when in another Starbucks they did it days before) the service should be the same in all its headquarters.

Clean store, good produce. Way too few employees. There are 40 people trying to check out and not a single regular lane is open. The lines for the self-checkout are spilling into the aisles. Note to management: stop being so cheap and hire some help.

Joanna in bakery went above and beyond to ensure that I got my grandmother her favorite breakfast. I appreciate her stopping what she was doing to take the time and and see what I needed. Most people won't do that, Thanks @Bakers for having someone that truly embodies quality and customer service!!

I routinely shop at this store. Today, 10/10/20, I noticed several customers were not wearing masks, and the checkout clerks who helped me did not have their masks covering their noses. I politely asked the employees to wear the masks properly and asked if there was anyone who enforces the “masks required” city ordinance — they had no response and when I approached an employee who said he was a manager with the same concerns, he said the company will not enforce the mask requirement for customers. Clearly irresponsible and putting their employees and customers at risk. I will not shop at this store or any affiliated Bakers

Tried the home delivery for awhile, my husband loves it however I do not. I have consistently not received a good portion of what I have ordered. Husband wants to stick with it , but I’m going back to Hyvee.

Currently there is a 30 minute line to get through to check out because they’re only running 2 registers at evening rush hour. They need to staff this store appropriately. I ditched my groceries because this was going to make me late.

I went to two different locations at ine 2 blk males were rude and wouldnt let me enter bakers cus they were closing in 10 minutes then left rhere and went to saddle creek and they disnt have bolillos at all in the bakery

Horrible! Only 6 self- check out open between 4-6 pm + 4 poor cashiers. All lines were 10 people or more deep. Management just stood back on their phones & did nothing to help.Now I remember why I quit shopping at Baker's 5 years ago.

Lovely place. They could hire some more people. I feel for the people who staff self checkout. I think Bakers would send the host of hell through self checkout. In fact, hell is probably better staffed.
