Treated like a scolded dog… humiliated to say the least.I travel often with my three kids. They are very responsible and respectful, ages 17, 12 and 10. As we were shopping at Ashley’s there was yelling commotion “what child broke this”. All of the other families jumped, including myself. I had no clue that something had fallen off a shelf and was not provided an opportunity to even ask my children if something happened before I was rang up for damages.The shop seemed rigid to hang a drippy clock off the side of a shelf at a persons hip level, where anyone could merely breathe upon walking by, causing it to tip over and fall.It’s a shame that this person’s anger lead to be their “customer service” instead of leading with a calm deposition to question what happened. All things, my child’s spirit was broke.

Awesome place. If you love hot sauce, you must go, I've never seen so much! The beautiful sweet lady behind the counter is really nice and helpful. She let me sample several hot sauces, and they were all great. Will go back to get photos.

I work for this business and since we can not comment on reviews. To the couple that had a bad experience last night. We would really appreciate it if you reached out to our store. Our cashier was out of line and we do not do business that way. We would like to offer a 50$ gift card to our store. First off you were not watching your kids and when your child broke something your friend just put it on the shelf and acted like nothing happened, being dishonest from the beginning. And if you remember right I only charged you for half the price of the broken item. Second that clock is designed that way for a reason it's art. What you said about forcing to pay.... You asked your child if he broke it before paying and he admitted he did. Please don't lie in Google reviews. We have cameras every where to back up what I'm saying.

Horrible customer serviceWe came in today at around 6pm and the store was pretty much empty with only one other customer there. Me and my boyfriend greeted the lady working with a smile and a “hello”. She proceeded to say “be careful don’t break anything there’s a lot of fragile items in the store”. We were really taken back because both my boyfriend and I are in our 20s and are old enough to browse around the store without breaking an item. She was very rude and her “greeting” was extremely uninviting. We usually love this shop due to its unique hot sauces and items but after this encounter, we will no longer be able to enjoy this hidden gem like we used to.

Amazing experience! Walked in with my girlfriend to buy a few bottles of hot sauce and ended finding plenty of great options to choose from. The woman checking us out was overly nice. She saw our puppy and asked how old he was (it was his 1st birthday), and she opened a bag of treats for him and gifted them to him! Would recommend for the tremendous variety and pleasant company!

There's always a great selection of oddities and goodies that I have to stop in and browse every time I go downtown. The hot sauce collection is maybe the finest I've ever come across in my travels and i always grab a different "gross" soda to try when i visit. Plenty of bath products and candies to round out your shopping trip.

My daughters and I love stopping by Ashley' Vintage! There are a lot of unique items to choose from browse through. I often purchase their incenses and sometimes one of their many hot sauces. The staff is friendly and the prices are reasonable!! Love this place!

While they have a huge selection of hot sauces, there is a big upcharge. I was charged double the cost of what these sauces retail for. Not sure about the rest of the products, but make sure to check price tags before purchase.

HOT SAUCE!if you love hot sauce, you must stop here. They have 3 big walls of the stuff!There's an upper and lower section to this place and the hot sauce is in the basement.

Do not buy any sauces from here. They do not check expiration dates or flip stock. Thank God I checked or I could’ve gotten food poisoning from the Truff mayo that expired in April and the hot sauce that is a year old. Along with uneven stairs down and a super claustrophobic environment would just skip and go to Hollywood Candy down the street.

I love the unique items in this store. They the largest selection of hot sauces I have seen and I have to stores dedicated to hot sauces. They have self-care items, including my favorite Moon Soaps with crystals in he soaps. They have toys for the kids and young at heart. Beautiful selections of jewelry and tons of food products I haven't seen anywhere. Candles incense specialty teas. Just an amazing store and it's location is cool too.

Ashley's is an Old Market treasure. They have the best selection of hot sauces, salsas and spice rubs in Omaha. If you love cooking, this is the place to go. My kids love the impressive wall of sodas, so many fun flavors to try. If you love hot hot hot-try Ashley's Atomic Omaha hot sauce.Ashleys has expanded since my last post. They took over the upstairs bay, more space for cool stuff! My favorite place to shop has just gotten better. Check it out!
