I shop at the Commissary for a number of reason's. First, everyone working there is friendly and helpful. Plus they have everything I want and if they don't you simply ask for it and if they don't have it they will order it for you. Can't beat that. When you're done shopping you have the choice of options for checkout. Full service, where you can have them check and bag your stuff for you, and I believe you can even lead them to your vehicle and they will load it into your car for you. A tip is expected to the bagger for this service but not required. Or self-service where you can scan it, bag it and take it out yourself, which is what most people today do. Either way is a good deal, plus your on base which is generally a safer environment.

It has all that you need for grocery shopping. The staff; while I will get some static for saying this, are not the friendliest nor the most welcoming - especially at the Deli. Or maybe it depends on their "perception" of you. They are definitely selectively polite (I've directly observed). The prices are a bit higher. And I don't understand that extra fee they charge that appears on my receipts? I'm paying to use the Commissary? Between shopping with Walmart and Amazon, I save more overall than at the Commissary. But it's clean and well stocked.

Prices are a mix. It's not always the lowest. Great pricing on chicken though.Please remember to tip the baggers if you use them. They work there without pay.They use to have real wasabi (as opposed to the horseradish most places sell) that is a product of Japan. I use to always get it from there.

Working here was an absolute nightmare. I walked on eggshells the entire time. I've worked in management and I understand that my team is human and not robots. And i ran a successful place of business (have numbers for proof), and was promoted to GM and was there for several years, until i wanted a change of pace. I really wanted to work here, but not if they treat their employees as if they are machines and not something of value. Stating comments like, "you must've not have any responsibility at your job." Seriously, that's an HR issue. Sorry my son had hives and was in a lot of pain. I care more about my kids than dealing with your extreme male ego.

Good prices, but typical commissary antics... Expired items on the shelves for sale, low stock, no selection... more like a large convenience store, where you go in a pinch when you need mainstays, but don't do your actual grocery shopping there...

Shame on Offutt AFB commissary for selling spoiled goods to its service members. Watery gross potatoes and dumplings that were moldy a week before expiration date. Do better.

The Offutt Commissary is your typical DECA commissary. It has all the brands that I am familiar with seeing at commissaries all over the globe. It also has a sushi grab and go and a sandwich counter. I would recommend this place to a friend.

Chalkey has a great group. Natalie is always on top of everything. Alex and Justin are hustlers. Really enjoy working for all of them. Awesome people.

Overall the price was Aright. A little on the high side for condoms but next time I’ll just get then at Walmart. I did buy a frozen pizza but I’m 90% it was rat meat and not pepperoni but that’s not the commissary’s fault. BAGGERS WERE FANTASTIC. they bagged my order perfectly, and were very interactive throughout my shopping journey. Best bagging program I’ve seen in any commissary.

2021: Best day to shop: Tuesday after restocking on Monday. Worst day to shop: Sunday. Sometimes resembles Soviet era grocery store with lack of selection due to empty shelves.Update 2024: I don't know what happened, but the commissary has turned into a dystopian nightmare. There are a lot of empty shelfs. Multiple racks that held dozens of eggs only had a couple of packs. Meat section scare. Prices comparable to off-base. Imagine that the Salvation Army opened a grocery store based on donations. Don't ever see myself going back.

The commissary has a pretty decent selection of things you can’t always find in the local area. Baggers are super friendly and if you’re cheap you can always bag your own groceries. Hit or miss in prices so be a smart shopper.

Very small, never has what you need in stock or as an item they carry at all! Small produce section. Perfect to spend more money and ship off base.Makes me cry every time my husband takes me here to shop and I wish we had never moved here!! Plus the BX is the all time worst! Out of all the places we have lived this BX has nothing to offer and no restaurants to choose from!! I have worked in a BX before and this one is horrible!! There are so many things I used to go to the BX to purchase that this one doesn't even have! I don't even want to go on the base for anything here except maybe to go bowling, One thing that is actually nice.

The self help meat counters are always full and stocked with varieties to choose from; the prices are reasonable enough for my budget. The commissary is always neat and clean for all your shopping needs.

The wonderful selection of food and great prices brought me in. I was also impressed with the well mannered young men helping take your groceries outside to the car. It's a great place to get everything you need!

Nice clean store. Self checkout is great and employee working that area was wonderful and caring. We weren't able to get some items we we're expecting due to no inventory. Prices were good. Watch sale items because not all similar we're on sale. Example, only Stove Top turkey stuffing, not cornbread, chicken, etc. Same with gravy.

Saw the commissary director helping an employee remove items from the store without paying or checking them. Store is packed and no registers open while the director and an employee are not helping but adding to the problem. Disappointed by the leadership and performance of those who are supposed to be serving those who served.On the other hand, the store was mostly well taken care of and stocked.

I've had great experiences here buying quality food at cheaper than area pricing. Vegetables and meats tend to be the savings pieces and they don't have their own "low-quality" in store option like area stores have. Mostly name-brand stuff here. Great for quick Sushi, sandwiches, soups, fruit, salads and more for lunch. It would be nice to get more salad variety.

No one was friendly especially the stockers, the only one that was friendly was Kathrine Shaffer. couldn't find several things, didn't have what I need and quite a few things were expensive. Veggies were spoiled as well as the meat.
