They have messed up my orders consistently for the past few months, not sure if they hired new people but the service here is absolutely awful. I have had to send almost every sandwich I get from them back. Recently, an incident happened that has caused me to lose trust and faith in this establishment, which is unfortunate because I used to really enjoy the food. I have allergies, which I always make clear, and I was served a sandwich that had been made incorrectly and then had those ingredients sloppily scraped off, serving the same bread/other ingredients, but covered in the residue of an allergen- incredibly dangerous, I’m lucky I had someone try it for me first. If they screwed up once or twice or even three times, I would give it a pass. But it has been every. single. time. If you don’t want terrible service, suspiciously hard bread, oddly chewy meat and workers who are visibly high, don’t waste your time and money on this JJ’s. :(

We walked in to an empty restaurant with all the workers standing around chatting. We were not greeted. I told my kids to find a table while I ordered, but every table either had trash on it or was sticky (likely wiped with a sticky rag because there were smear lines where the tables had been wiped). Several of the tables had been removed (benches but no table).I asked if they had “day old bread” because that’s all one child wanted, and they told me no, so we just ordered an extra bread loaf.The girl taking our order seemed distracted by other conversations happening and kept asking us to repeat our order.After ordering, I was never asked for my rewards #, so I remembered as we were paying and she cancelled the payment so I could earn my rewards (not a big deal, but they probably should be doing that…).3 of 4 sandwhiches that should have had peppers did not.1 of 2 that should have had “extra dressing” did not.6 out of 8 sandwhiches plus the extra “fresh” bread loaf were hard and stale.Very disappointing when you’re buying $10 sandwhiches and they can’t take the time to follow directions and provide quality food.There are 2 single-user bathrooms, but neither have an infant changing table despite having plenty of room to install one on the wall. (Of course, this isn’t a requirement, but would make the restaurant more family friendly.)Basically, the service was terrible (never a mention of “thanks for coming in” or “have a good night” either), the food was disappointing, and the atmosphere was very lacking compared to every other JJ I’ve been to over the years. Usually we love JJ, but I for sure won’t be back to this one next time we travel through.

The last 2 times some thing has gone wrong... I order no mustard they put mustard on it, also I got a sandwich with no meat. They used to be one of my favorite places but not now.

The picture shows half of my $15 sandwich, a giant slim 4 with cheese. The other half was the same sad story.We picked up sandwiches driving through town on our way home, as we have done several times before. We were already back on the interstate when I unwrapped my sandwich to find hardly anything between the bread.If this is how they make a $15 sandwich now, we won't be stopping there any more. Embarrassing.

First my online order wasn't even on the rack I had to wait in line and get it and then secondly I get a Del Taco cup Jimmy John's. I'd called after I was off of work to explain my frustration and spoke to DJ after this whole incident and DJ proceeded to hang up on me because he didn't want to hear what I had to say. This is the worst customer service I've ever had any Jimmy John's and I'm hoping this situation can be brought to the owners attention. What happened to customers service?

We are traveling through on a road trip and stop here to grab sandwiches. The burly bearded dude stares at us and says he's working alone. I say we're not in a hurry so no worries. He seems ambivalent but takes the order for 8 sandwiches as a younger employee comes back from delivering sandwiches. Burly dude proceeds to let this kid do all the work himself while he walks behind the meat slicer and gets on his phone. Literally doesn't lift a finger to help the kid with this big order. Fortunately, the kid was fast and efficient and made good sandwiches. Unfortunately he had to do all the work himself.

My mother is a regular there. And they always treat her like family. While she was in the hospital. I called to see if they knew what she usually ordered. Sure enough the lady on the phone knew her name and exactly how she liked her sandwich. I asked if they would deliver to the hospital. There was no question about it and they did. When I asked how much I owed. The lady said that it was covered and no payment was needed.All I can say is the staff genuinely awesome and treat elderly people with respect. I would recommend doing business with this store hands down. Truly a North Platte gem

Only 1 person working trying to make sandwiches, take orders, do drive-thru, and take phone orders makes for slow going. She was nice and apologized for the slow speed but it was obvious it was gonna take a bit to get the food since she was the only person there.Soda machine was off and out of ice. Key was in it so I turned the machine on.Bread was not very fresh tasting tasted like day old bread, stale and hard.

Ordered a sub for delivery it took quite awhile for it was delivered. Then it was completely wrong so I called to let them know and explained what was wrong with it and they said they would remake it the correct way and deliver the second one. When the second one FINALLY arrived it too was completely wrong from the online order and the verbal order I gave for the same one over the phone. At that point it would’ve been almost 3.5 hours since I had ordered the first one and I couldn’t wait around for a third one to be made just to be wrong like the previous two. It was a total waste of my time and money. Should’ve spent the extra for door dash from somewhere else that could easily get the order correct….

Worst Jimmy Johns I’ve been to! Very disappointed with their service. We just moved back to North Platte and while out house hunting decided to have lunch at JJ’s today.As we pulled up to the drive-thur we noticed a taped paper sign on the menu board that read “we are currently out of turkey” so the 1st thing my husband asked was were they still out of turkey? The girl taking our order says, “no” (thank goodness) without any regard to the posted signage. Ordered our sandwiches and theBread was day old bread! Not fresh at all! Asked them to cut our sandwiches in half, didn’t happen. Then the tomatoes were green in the middle so hard as rocks.Sad to say….but don’t think we’ll be trying this JJ’s again anytime soon. Don’t waste your money folks!

By far the worst Jimmy John's I've had. My wife used to manage a store and so this was sad to see. Extremely slow service, sandwiches were below average as they did not prepare the order as requested, and the sandwiches were extremely dry and tasteless. This owner needs to step up his game. Wish we read the reviews before we ate here. We just figured all Jimmy John's upheld the values, quality and attention to detail that is expected of them. The owner here obviously doesn't ascribe to those same values by passing it on to their staff.

Order was “out for delivery” for over 45 minutes when I live 3 blocks away?Well over an hour for my order of small sandwich no drink. Employee was rude when I called to check on status of my order. I scroll and see nothing but negative reviews how is this place still open?

Worked there before and they have extremely rude people working there. They don't have great customer service and it really seems they don't care about their job. It was a horrible time working there.Their equipment is either broken or non-existent, and outdated, they're not appreciative of the people who are willing to work there or put in the effort, and they really don't show any pride in their work. If you are desperate for a sandwich, don't go there. You are better off going somewhere else or making a sandwich yourself.

Absolutely terrible. We were coming through town from a long rodeo and wanted some food. They refused to serve us for having a horse trailer. My parents and I made sure we weren’t restricting anything for them and other surrounding stores. They also had no customers there, so the employees certainly weren’t busy with other orders. They were just sitting in the back on their phones. Terrible service, not nice people. We are never stepping foot in that Jimmy Johns again, and they will never get our service… ever.

Online it says the hours at 10am-10pm. I tried getting a sandwich at 10:35 and they weren’t open. Saw an employee walk in about 10:40 not even caring he was late. I didn’t stay around to see if they were going to open. Also it may be a good idea to post your hours in your door!

I ordered and gave delivery instructions. When I had not gotten my order in one hour I called. They said it was out for delivery. Another hour passes, no delivery. When I called they said that they couldn’t do anything until they talked to the driver. In 25 minutes, they called back and said it was delivered to the address at a door with a padlock. She reasoned that it was probably stolen. She said she can void my payment or I could wait until more bread was out of the oven and they would remake it. Two hours since it was to have been delivered and that was her solution. No apology. She said they were out of bread because they had a big rush. Not sure why that is a reasonable solution. Do NOT order from this JJs if you actually plan on eating.

I was in a car wreck, injuries ending with an amputated leg... I ate here so much over the 3 years of not walking because it was delicious and there is a variety of sandwiches and it's easy to carry on crutches. They are fast and very polite, always smiling and offered to carry my drink in and have held it for me to make 2 trips on crutches. I would love to see a child's menu or meal deal, with smaller sandwiches added. The only suggestion I have is if the sandwiches were made the same consistently with proportionate vegetables and the difference in extra onion 1 day extra being non exisistent. Having said that, I have NEVER had a bad sandwich, they are delicious. Once they brought pops that came from a box needing to be changed out They thanked me for letting them know, brought the drinks immediately.

Food is great and very fast delivery, but I find it to be stealing when a delivery person takes it upon themselves to give them self a tip simply because there was no tip filled out. I usually tip very generously when I tip so if I don't tip I usually have a reason. They will be lucky if they get me as a customer again or if I tip the next time if I order. I've worked in food before and I know tips are nice, but taking it upon yourself to fill out the tip portion is stealing regardless of if the tip is only a few bucks or not.

Hopefully people read this before jumping out of the drive through line(6cars) to walk in(google says confirmed open) while a piece of old/reused paper on the door says "due to staffing issues the lobby is temporarily close".STAY IN THE LINE!, another paper should convey for people like me in the drive through.

Two yrs.ago I would have given 5 stars today I went through drive thru I didn't know what my chip choices for the combo where so I got pickle they asked I wanted it in half or fourths . I said half. I got a whole pickle which does not taste good at all. The sandwich is way smaller than use to be. For $10 I expect more.

We ordered from this restaurant while staying in North Platte at a hotel on a mini vacation. We ordered the Slim 4 (turkey breast sandwich) for our two year old as they did not have a kids menu and asked them to put mayo on the sandwich. Five minutes after placing the order, someone from the restaurant called and said, "I know you ordered the Slim 4 with mayo. We can't sell the sandwich like that, but we'll do it this time since we are out of mayo packets." I'm sorry??!! What the heck does that mean??? Needless to say, I was very perturbed by this total lack of customer service. This is our first...and our last....experience with Jimmy Johns! !

I have never written a review; however, my experience was just so horrendous something has to be said. My girlfriend and I, who live 40 miles away, decided to go through the drive thru after our grocery shopping at Walmart. The parking lot was deserted in front of the building and the drive thru was vacant, so we figured it would be an awesome and quick stop. (I guess the emptiness makes sense now.) As we pulled up to the speaker we didn’t get a proper greeting and had to initiate the conversation. As we were attempting to place our order, the employee rudely interrupted us and was saying that he couldn’t hear us. Again, we tried to say our order, and they still couldn’t hear. So we placed our order for the third time, and all it was was a #16 (a turkey and bacon sandwich) without tomatoes. The worker then responded with, “So do you want cheese?” We then said yes, and repeated the order once again. They then gave us our total and we drove to the window. We payed, received our food, and began our commute home. That was when we realized that we had not received what we payed for. We had been given a crudely made Turkey Tom with hardly any lettuce and tough bread. In conclusion, we were treated poorly, overcharged, and left highly unsatisfied.Being in food service myself, things could have been done much differently to allowed for an adequate experience. Very sad to see a restaurant I once thoroughly enjoyed become so lax and fall short on so many standards.

Passing through North Platte Nebraska and wanted to grab a sandwich. Their hours of operation say they're open till 10:00 p.m. but I called at 9:45 to place an order and nobody answers the phone. I guess that's why they have a 3.6 rating.

Terrible! When you ask for things specifically and pay extra you expect to get what you pay for! And your lobby isn't open, you have to wait for 7-10 cars in the drive thru to maybe get what you order!! Next time we know to go to subway!!

Staff must be having a bad day. Placing the order inside was challenging. Whole process start to finish took way longer than normal for a JJs. Menus don't have pricing or sandwich size info.
