This iconic place was part of my childhood. Learn a little bit about Buffalo Bill Cody, North Platte history, the Wild West show, get some fun souvenirs, and be a little silly all at the same time. Lovely volunteers and no entrance fees make this a win for everyone.

What a dump! As soon as we opened the doors to enter, the smell of mothballs hit us in the face! The staff wasn't very nice to shoppers as they laughed and talked about people walking around. Pretty childish! The business is full of every cheap "overpriced" toy and souvenir you can imagine! The prices we're unimaginable! The automated parade behind glass wasn't working, and who knows for how long! Needless to say, we were extremely disappointed in this business, and it wasn't the best place for kids! The exterior looks comical and inviting, but be aware! It's no longer a "staple" tourist attraction for this city!

Went on the 15 of Aug. With my boys 10 and 8 years old. They enjoyed it. Took pics outside and then inside saw they have penny pressing machine. Well two of the images worked the other two did not turn out. Little museum and miniature show every 30min. Then a big gift shop my kids enjoyed the old time sodas. My boys wanna go back. Hasn't changed since I was a kid.

A really fun spot for gifts and souvenirs, with a nice outdoor space out back where they have live music occasionally. They also have a really cool miniature wild west show that starts every 30 mins. Definitely worth the stop for snacks, gifts, or just something fun to look at and learn a little!

What a unique little gift shop, they had quite the selection of trinkets, clothing, and more! They even have live music on Thursdays. The museum is free as well! They do allow pets but they must be carried. Also there is parking if your bobtailing.

Absolutely a must for any kind of souvenirs. Very friendly staff and amazing display of Buffalo Bill's wild west shoe figures. If you come at the right time the figures will put on a show for you. Wonderful place to shop.

Cute little tourist trap (which I love). Lots of cute Nebraska items and the miniature show is actually pretty amazing for a homemade item. All carved out of wood. Yes, campy, but handmade by someone who actually got to see the real Buffalo Bills Wild West Show back in the day.

I don't know how many times I have drove by and never stopped but this time we did! It is a great unique souvenir shop! Many items to choose from! And fun items to read about Buffalo Bill, other Indians and to see women's dresses and men's chaps! It even has a little set up of Buffalo Bill's show! Glad we stopped in!

A fun and free stop along the highway. Great for families and kids. Tons to look at and tons to buy! 2 headed cow, a miniature display, and great taxidermy. They of course have lots of products for sale. Picked up some unique gifts for our family and friends. Would definitely stop again. Employees were very kind and helpful.

A very nice gift shop. In addition, you can watch quite a large exhibition of artifacts about life in these areas in the past. It is worth emphasizing that the prices of souvenirs offered here are not exorbitant. It's really worth going down for a while and visiting this gift shop.

This is a stop you won't regret! The staff is fun and accommodating but that aside it is by far one of the most fun roadside attractions! They have old toys and candy that you will only appreciate if you are over the age of 35! And they have whips...take it from me they work per my husbands lower region. This has many great opportunities for family photos that are rich in history. Lastly, stay to see the miniature show! Very interesting show and history lesson. Never thought I would say miniatures are cool....but I have officially been proven wrong and ....miniatures ARE cool! Have a great time and yeehaw cowpokes!

Very interesting place. Reminds me of the tourist type of places I visited as a child. The outdoor area is great for kids to run around and play in. The indoors is packed with buffalo bill facts, merchandise, and trinkets. It's free to get in but there is plenty of things to buy there as well, so if you bring your kids expect to fight off the constant "can I get this" reaction to the vast amount of kid friendly merchandise. All in all, a nice little break from the road trip.

What an awesome place! A great variety of gifts and spectacular decor! Please check out all the pictures I'm going to share. They have a huge diorama of Wild Bill's show. Worth a trip if you're in the area!

This is the wild west gift shop to end all gift shops! It makes a great pit stop off the highway - I ate lunch at the nearby Qdoba and then came over. There are gag gifts, post cards, toys, candy, even jewelry, cowboy hats, and moccasins. I most enjoyed the hand-carved diorama of Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show that takes up the entire back of the store. Definitely worth a stop even if you don't buy anything. I ended up with postcards and a bumper sticker myself.

Worth a trip over to see details of Buffalo Bill and a good old country store. Don't kid yourself though they have high-end jewelry. Fun stuff for the kids like slingshots and a Western style whip.

Always a good stop on the way through North Platte. A true Nebraskan Tourist stop. Full of cool knick knacks for the kids and its always been interesting to watch the miniature show, two headed calf, and museum like items from Buffalo Bill, Cowboys and Local Natives. There were even Rattlesnake belts and such when we went.

Road-side attraction. Look's exactly the same as it did in the 70's. Stopped recently on the way to Colorado and was actually amazed it was still open. The same covered wagon was out front from when I was there as a child for crying out loud! 😄

Cool stop along our journey west. Great place to let the kids get out and stretch their legs while learning a little Americana. Not fancy, just a neat little tourist trading post with a solute to Buffalo Bill and his Wild West Show.

We loved this place so much we went twice on our road trip! Great staff and a lot of great gifts to take home. The small museum is nice. You have to see the 2 headed calf!! Mini Buffalo Bill show was good to see, it showed what real entertainment was like back before all the distractions of devices we have today

This is a neat place. They have a LOT of items for sale but also have a lot of neat things to look at. Our favorites were the two-headed calf and hand carved figurines in the Wild West Show. Outside, they have a jail, wagons, and a few other things to look at.

This is quintessential Americana! It's a quaint stop with all kinds of trinkets, western wear, jewelry, snacks, and souvenirs. Worth a quick stop to check out the old-timey artifacts and miniture display of the Cody Circus in back and appreciate the eclectic atmosphere in the middle nearly nowhere.

Cute little place to get off the highway and stretch your feet. We got there 10 minutes before close so we left the dogs in the car and raced through it. I forgot my nice camera in the car but this is very 80s 90s nostalgic. Back when there were plenty of attractions that was there for families off the exit. It was a neat miniature museum with a few giant pieces. After the quick run through I had to let the dogs out of the car and took them for a walk around to get a few cute pictures and go get gas. Worth stopping and checking out if you're in the area or getting off the exit
