I just went to this Bomgaars to look at a gun that had an AccuTrigger on it. Which is on some savage guns. I asked the gentlemen to look at this gun so I could get a better look at the AccuTrigger. Then I said “I wanted to get a better look at the safety on the trigger.” He then started to argue with me, even though I was being polite, that it wasn’t a safety. I was saying that I was another safety feature on the gun and he just kept saying that it’s not a safety. Which it is a safety feature for the gun. The gun will not operate if the AccuTrigger is not pulled. I then gave the gun back and walked out. When I was walking out I glanced back and seen football on his computer so I think he was mad because I mad him actually do his job and help a customer. I was also with my friends who have also had a bad experience with this store.

Sadly, this experience was not one of the better ones. Our cashier was completely rude, I kept the receipt for the name which I believe is on the top of the receipt. Not polite to any of us in line.

Awful customer service. Don’t get me wrong, I found the boots I wanted and for that I’m grateful. However…Our cashier failed to count the change back. Just handed it to us. I felt rushed, not welcomed. The moment she handed me my change, she turned her back on us and picked up her conversation with “Coy”, which felt both awkward and uncomfortable.If I’m honest, it was so bad, it was offensive. If I’m spending hard-earned money, a smile or two goes a long way.To conclude, Bomgaars had what we needed, but their customer service wasn’t worth a damn.

I was in the North Platte store yesterday and my heart melted. I watched a man (so wish I would have gotten his name) , exhibit so much kindness. He was helping a rather demanding elderly lady with so much kindness and patience. He stood there in the busy store and scanned every flower pot for prices for her. She would say “give me that” and each time he did so with a smile. After he got her taken care of he apologized to me and asked if I’d been waiting for help. I replied that I was just enjoying watching him so lovingly help her and I thanked him for his kindness to her. He simply replied. “The world needs more kindness “. It made my day!!!

Was not satisfied with an exchange, bought work boots for husband on sale , that brand fit different then his normal ones, too big. I returned) exchanged them and was charged an additional 45$... I felt they should have honored the price I originally paid, I was only exchanging them for a different size. Probably won't shop work supplies there again.

Get off from a Sunday work call and rush from out of town to return or exchange a pair of shoes, and the door is pulled closed and locked as i reached to open it. I guess working a 9 to 5 job that you're on call the remainder of the 24hrs, 7 days a week, you forget how badly people dont want to work anymore. I will admit fault for confusing 7pm closing with Menards, but to close the door on the folks spending their money in your store opposed to on-line, especially now, you could do better.

I was looking for a part for my grill and a very nice gentleman salesman was very helpful to me. Most men sales people don't seem to care about waiting on me because I am a woman. So I was very pleased with my experience there.

Disappointed in this location and management for not enforcing health guidelines and measures to protect their staff and customers. Very few individuals actually wore face-coverings during my visit.I understand and respect that the culture in North Platte is a lot more primitive, but it’s still important for business owners and city leaders to educate the public in health and safety. Along with enforcing national guidelines. Especially in a small town like this where 400 new cases have occurred in the last week.Please do better Bomgaars.
